Rosey
I never thought I’d be a runaway bride. But when it came down to it, I just couldn’t marry the wrong man.
So, I ran.
And somehow, I ended up in Star Falls, Colorado—stranded, no luggage, no plan—in a wedding dress with a past I’d rather forget.
Fate lands me in the only available rental in town, a cozy little cabin… right next door to Byron Miller, the brooding billionaire who wants nothing to do with me. Or this town.

Byron
I left Star Falls years ago, along with every mistake. Now I’m back, determined to build a luxury resort that might just rewrite my past.
The last thing I need is a distraction—especially not one like the runaway bride that moved in next door. She has too many secrets and a smile so wide, I just can’t look away.
But no matter how hard I try to keep my distance, there’s something about her, that refuses to be ignored.
Snow falls. Sparks fly. Late-night porch talks turn into something more, something neither of us expected. But Rosey’s past isn’t far behind, and my future here is hanging by a thread.
She’s just passing through. I’m trying not to put down roots. But Star Falls, Colorado has its own plan.

A standalone romance, perfect for fans of small-town romance, sizzling chemistry, and fresh starts.

◦ Love Fast by Louise Bay ◦
★★★★★

◦: Plot :◦
Rosey, a runaway bride, becomes neighbors with Byron, a brooding billionaire, in a snowy Colorado town. Neither is looking for love—but Star Falls has other plans.

◦: My Thoughts :◦
I usually steer clear of tropes like Billionaire Romance, Workplace Romance, and Small Town Romance—but this book made me question how other authors get them so wrong. Louise Bay did these tropes justice and delivered a romance I couldn’t put down.

The pacing was spot on, and I was hooked from the first chapter. The opening felt so relatable—I can think of plenty of moments when I’ve wanted to escape and just needed a sign. I loved how Rosey stayed optimistic and turned her messy situation into a chance to rebuild her life.

Byron and Rosey’s connection was beautiful. Typically, male leads with “past trauma” give me the ick—but Byron’s character was refreshing. I appreciated hearing his perspective and watching his growth throughout the book.

If you’re looking for me, you’ll find me at the Colorado Club. ❄️💙

(Contains spoilers below...)

It started with Rosey (28) ditching her groom and travelling to Colorado. She stopped by a bar where Byron (30+) happened to be having a drink. A few minutes went by, and she found out that there weren't any rentals available in the town. Out of nowhere, Byron felt like wanting to help Rosey, so he suggested his neighboring cabin instead.

Rosey figured she needed to find a job while she was planning her next steps, and it turns out Byron's resort is looking to hire some staff. So she went ahead, applied, and got the job. She had no idea Byron was the owner, and he kind of left that part out. He didn't want to mess up their growing friendship, so he omitted that crucial fact

Eventually she found out the truth. By this time something was already brewing between them. But with the power and status imbalance, they decided to step back from pursuing their mutual attraction. Obviously this didn't last long and they finally gave in.

This story was insta-love/lust. If you're not into that kind of vibe, I doubt you'll find this one interesting. On the first night they met, they both knew something had changed in them. As the days went by, the forced proximity just made their feelings even stronger.

================

Hmmm, tbh, it felt like I was just going around in circles with this book, and not much really happened. The lines, thoughts, feelings, and emotions were repetitive for both MCs. Idk why but this went on so long for no reason. This book is just over 300 pages, but this read actually felt way longer than that.

We didn't even know what happened to her mom. This was glossed over even though it was one of the reasons she decided to run away. I can't really explain it, but this book felt both complete and lengthy, yet at the same time, it seemed incomplete and like it was missing a few things. I think some things were left unresolved and others weren't handled well.

Idk, I could probably still say a few things that didn't really click with me, but this review is already getting pretty long, so...

Overall, I don't know what to feel about this book. It's not awful, not great either. It just didn't hold my interest, or maybe I'm just not in the mood or something. 🤷‍♀️ While this didn't entirely work for me, I'm sure someone else will resonate with it more.

Book info:
- Billionaire romance
- Small town romance
- Strangers to lovers
- Boss x Employee
- Forced proximity

Note:

Rosey ran away from her mother, her sisters, and her fiancé on her wedding day, finding herself in Colorado. Here in Star Falls she meets Byron who offers her ospitality, and an easy companionship was born between them.

Rosey chooses this little town beneath the Colorado Mountains to start anew. Far from her manipulative mother she, little by little, finds her indipendence and becomes aware of her true value. Byron decided to build up his exclusive resort right next to his hometown, to prove to the Star Falls villagers he changed his fortune in the years he spent away.
I loved Rosey and Byron, their complicity, their affection and their attraction make them a great couple. They help each other to understand what's best for them, but without being oppressive.

Love Fast was a fantastic book.
Louise Bay wrote a heartfelt and wonderful story. To my delight there wasn't any miscommunication, but only two nice characters that have to find their place in the World and to be happy.

I finished this novel too quickly and now I miss this little community that warmed my heart. I anxiously await next one.

Everything about about this book was bland for me. The plot, the characters, their chemistry, the narration - all just bland.

I usually like Louise Bay books but this just did not work for me. Don't get me wrong, i did not hate it, just found it meh.

I will read the next book in the series though!

Love Fast was beautiful like I imagine the Colorado Club to be.

It’s starts with Rosey on her wedding day where she’s about to marry a man who offers her security. Frank is everything her mother wants for her future. But it might not be best for Rosey. Given the choice Rosey must either do what’s expected or become a runaway bride.

Byron is returning home to Colorado where his past still holds a shard of glass. He’s been living in New York and leaving the city to open a resort brings up old memories. He has to figure out how to re-navigate the town he grew up in.

These two meet when both of their lives are up in the air, but love doesn’t wait for anything.

I started reading this on my kindle but was offered the opportunity to listen to the audiobook so I swapped. I’ve listened to these two narratives before, and they executed Love Fast perfectly.

This is part of a new series and I absolutely will be reading more in the future.

🎧📚AUDIO & EBOOK REVIEW📚🎧

When I read Love Fast back at the beginning of the month, I was so happy with the story because it made me feel this kind of nostalgic/happy sigh kind of way and isn’t that what romance fiction is supposed to do? Needless to say, I was deeply content when I read it. THEN, I got to listen to it a few nights ago, and that feeling was ten-fold! The story hummed with it. I felt it for all 8(ish) hours this beautiful story was in my ears! *heart eyes*

Now comes my favorite part of the game >> which format is the better experience, “ebook or audio”? << Well, either way you go, it is a great story! Honestly, one format was not “better” than the other for me, so do with that information what you will! :) They were both equally satisfying. *shrug*

Now, about this story … Louise Bay always makes me feel some sort of happy with her stories, and Rosey & Byron very much made me happy. Their story was one of self-discovery, for both of them, and also, in a way, it was a story of redemption. Rosey & Byron both have backstories or rather circumstances in their past that they are attempting to move forward from. This is more so for Rosey than Byron, but they both fit that descriptor in some way. Now, here lies my dilemma with this story. The shedding of this baggage was very anticlimactic. That’s the most honest way to put it. It is fine the way it was written, but it should have been more. Again, this is more for Rosey and her development. My honest assessment is the story really needed another 25% or more just on this plot-point. It is literally the essence of Rosey, and when she breaks free of her past, it’s just … sigh … I really enjoyed the slow rolling burn of Byron & Rosey’s romance journey and I think it fits their personalities and their development really well!

RATING: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨
SPICE: 🌶️🌶️

Okay, so I love how Louise writes a billionaire, especially a broody one. Pair that with a small mountain town and a luxury resort, and this book has everything I could want. Plus a runaway bride. I eat that trope up.

Bryon and Rosey are so good together too. She ends up his neighbor when she needs a place to start over and their pull to each other is absolutely electric.

Plus the book has just enough quirky side characters to make me fall in love with Star Falls as much as the characters.
Rosey and Byron have this connection that makes me swoon and they heal each other in ways they didn't know they needed.

I cannot wait for Fisher next., and loved seeing some of our favorites (coughWorthcough) show up in this one.

This books is swoony, sweet and just the right bit of spicy.

He leído la versión española que se llama AMOR A PRIMERA VISTA.
La historia está chula, es muy sencillita y cortita pero entretiene bastante y los protagonistas me han gustado.
Mejor de lo que esperaba, la verdad.

I loved this so fast! Really, one chapter in and I felt all the adrenaline and engagement I was looking for. And, oh, the romance! So good I was smiling all the time.

Let me capitulate. I read the New York City Billionaires trilogy and loved it, so I wasn't sure I wanted to change venue yet from my bunch of lovely guys and their sweeping romances in New York. Thank goodness I did because I adored Byron and his tender defensiveness and his childhood dream and his megaproject. He feels so real and sweet even though he's a hottie with all the protective streak a hero needs. He's ready to take charge yet he's open and understanding. Swoon-worthy. Rosey, on the other hand, is a smart girl full of ideas and hope. She's got relatable troubles and a background story that deals with family, responsibility and self-awareness. Her story gives so much substance to the plot.

I think both characters are strong and flawed and beautifully matched. Uprooted, looking for a purpose and a place to belong to. Their courses collide in this small town with stunning scenery. And it happens like fate has written their romance in a star-studded sky.

Byron and Rosey found me a willing participant in their sweet and passionate relationship. I love it when the male character has this strong pull towards the woman. Not only attraction, but this sense of connection, protection and trust.

The town and its inhabitants, both human and animal, are a treasure. I had a great time exploring it through Rosey's eyes and contrasting her fresh angle against Byron's jaded experience. Both really evolve along the story and find the freedom and roots they needed. And true love, of course. Also, I got to see my guys from New York! Such a satisfying novel.

Love Fast (Colorado Club Billionaires # 1)
By Louise Bay
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ / 5

Take me to the small town of Star Falls, Colorado where everyone knows everyone! Runaway bride, Rosey, finds herself in this small town where she walks into a bar in her wedding dress. Byron is back in his hometown of Star Falls after leaving for 15 years after his father gambled away their family farm. His plan isn’t to move back permanently, but only to stay while construction is being done on his new resort. So when he speaks to Rosey about looking for a place to stay for the night, Byron is kind and offers her the keys to his spare cabin he rented, which just happens it will make them neighbors. Both of these people are looking for their purpose and a place to belong to. In walks fate bringing these two together.

This is a fresh start story with themes of self discovery, second chances, and finding peace and happiness in unexpected places and unexpected people. This book brings you emotion, spice, and charm. It’s the kind of romance that will leave a smile on your face at the very end.

Love Fast is book one in a new series by English author Louise Bay. She did an amazing job writing her first Western Romance and I was totally engrossed in the story from page one.

It starts with our heroine, Rosey, contemplating leaving her betrothed at the alter and run she does! She’s desperate for a new beginning and as luck would have it, winds up in Star Falls, Colorado, where she runs into our hero, billionaire Byron Miller, in her wedding dress no less. I love that our hero and heroine met by chance, and their first encounter made me smile and want more right from the start!

I’ve read every book published by this author and love her descriptions of the town, the beautiful scenery, and especially the people. You will come to know them and feel their every pain and heartbreak, and laugh right along with them in this small-town romance.

In Love Fast, our hero falls first. He immediately drawn to the new girl in town who winds up getting a job as a waitress at his new upscale resort for the uber wealthy, and even though he shouldn’t as her boss, he can’t keep his distance. He’s a gentleman with class and character, and offers to help her find shelter from the start, opening up to her for no other reason than he just can’t help himself. He wasn’t planning on staying in town, but Rosey has him second guessing all of his previous future plans.

Bryon was this successful man on the outside, but broken and vulnerable on the inside from his relationship with his parents and his father’s poor decisions. But when he was with Rosey, he felt at peace and not judged, and I loved how they brought out the best in each other.

When you read of Rosey’s upbringing, you will really feel her every pain, and I loved her character growth, how she looked out for her sisters, and was able to break free and start over. She wasn’t looking for love, but their strong attraction and easy friendship was too hard to ignore. He was so patient with her and 100 percent committed from the start. I love that she finally was happy and free of her toxic mother, and how she stood up for herself.

I love how this author writes heroes that are worthy of the title, and drops in past characters from other books. Loved reading how his friends came to visit his new resort and supported him and encouraged his relationship.

I enjoyed Love Fast and highly recommend it. I just wish the ending was more detailed. There’s a mention of an engagement ring, and then a brief mention of calling each other “husband” and “wife,” so you know they got married, but as a reader, I would have liked to know how it all transpired and experienced it.

3.5/5 rounded up to 4

This was a good, solid romance read.

I really liked Rosey, she comes from a difficult and sheltered life and is finding her footing finally being out on her own while Byron, a brooding sweetheart of a billionaire, is dealing with some demons of his own by coming back from the big city to his hometown where he’s building a luxury resort. I loved the idea and setting for the Colorado Club, it’s a really fun backdrop for this story to grow under.

The story starts off a bit shallow for me but then comes to life in the latter half of the book. There were some moments, primarily with Rosey’s life and family, that really tugged on my heart strings. I loved how supportive and understanding Byron was of Rosey and how he just wanted her as she is and encouraged her.

I think I was just missing some depth to this one for some reason. I really enjoy Louise’s books but this one just didn’t quite click for me. When the MC’s had their big declarations for each other, I kind of felt a little like it wasn’t based on much. I just never got those happy melty feels in my chest.

That said, there were enjoyable characters, a solid plot line, and romantic moments along with open-door spice. Definitely a nice read if you’re looking for a well-written, kind of classic Hallmark-ish tropes type of romance. I can definitely see others enjoying this more than I did, so do give it a go if it sounds like your thing!!

I received an advance copy of the book and have left my honest, influence-free review

These men fall fast. I loved the pace of this one. Slow build up, still talking only weeks of knowing each other and they are in love. But it worked, loved the appearance of past men. A fast read.

This story follows Rosie, who has become too comfortable in her life and realizes—on her wedding day—that she can’t marry the man her family chose just to keep them happy. So, she sets off to escape and start fresh. But what happens when she meets Byron, who’s only in town to set up his new billionaire club—not to take a walk down memory lane in his hometown?

I really loved this small-town romance, and the audiobook narration was brilliant—it truly enhanced the reading experience! The MMC, Byron, made something of himself in New York but returns to his hometown to build a luxurious club. He wasn’t planning on staying, but he found a reason to call it home again. I really liked Byron as a character, and I was swooning over how he acted with Rosie.

Rosie is the jilted bride trying to rediscover herself without her family’s influence. She wants to make her own choices, rather than having them made for her. I loved her character and how she developed throughout the story. The dynamic between the main characters made this read really enjoyable.

I’m looking forward to the rest of the series, as I assume it will follow Byron’s best friends.

This was a such a feel-good, sweet, sexy read.

"Her words make me feel raw. Like she's stolen my invisible shield. She's unhooked my armor, unmasked me. She's seeing through to my soul. The real me, not the guarded, careful strategist. Everything that's left is hers."

Rosey and Byron were gorgeous together - I loved that they were pretty honest with one another and didn't play games. Neither pried too much and just let the other reveal their own stories in their own time. Byron showed Rosey that she could be her own person and whatever she wanted to be. Rosey showed Byron his home town in a new light and, in turn, showed him what the town truly thought of him. Their chemistry was irresistible, which made for some pretty hot scenes! 🔥🔥🔥

I loved how Rosey found her inner strength to do what she needed to do. I found Byron to be humble and loving - not just with Rosey, but with his best friends, too. There were definitely a couple of emotional moments! Overall, a fab, easy read.

Really quickly before I dive into why I gave this such a low star rating:

Things I loved:
1. The small-town vibes. I loved the everybody's-family-here sorts of vibes I get from these kinds of stories. The way there's always a friendly face for the FMC when she wanders through town.
2. The Pride and Prejudice references. Rosey's sisters are named Marion (Mary), Lydia and Kitty. They're all the victim of an overbearing mother who's obsessed with money and trying to hitch them to an older rich dude for the "betterment of the family". There are other names too that ring familiar - Bennet for example. No, I didn't miss the easter eggs!
3. The chemistry between the FMC and MMC. Yes, this books moves FAST (but it's in the title, you were warned!). The instalove is instaloving. But they do talk to each other. They are good together. There's some decent pining that goes on in the story.
4. Athena the cat. Need I say more?
5. The MMC's friend group. We briefly get to meet these boys in the story and it's clearly introducing them for future books, but the dynamic they have with Byron is super cute. And I love how they're rich but not pretentious and they accept Rosey as one of their own - not caring that she works at the Club.

Now, onto what I'm sure people are reading this review for:

There are a few things I could say about this story. A few issues I had that I could pick out and whine about. But I'm not going to do that. Instead, I'm going to talk about the one huge thing that completely dismantled this story for me.

Every once in a while you run across a story that is enjoyable, one that could have been perfect, if not for the particular conflict written in. Because the conflict is SO dire, so deep-seated, so fundamentally unconquerable, that it completely obliterates any hope or chance or believability for the two to end up happily ever after.

For me, that was the case in this story.

Rosey flees a marriage to a man she's not in love with - a man who was her boss at a car dealership - and a mother who's ruled her entire life, for the freedom of Colorado.

There she encounters the MMC - a billionaire who's building an elite resort on the edge of town. She ends up as his neighbor and they begin a friendship and, maybe even a little flirting, before she gets a job at this soon-to-open resort for billionaires and discovers that her hot neighbor is actually her boss.

This throws a monkey wrench into things because Rosey's life has been controlled by others for 28 years. First her mother, and then Frank (her ex). She knows that getting involved with Byron (the hot neighbor) is a dumb idea, that the power dynamics are entirely too uneven for her.

But obviously she does it anyway.

Inevitably, when the third act breakup rolls around, the excuse Rosey gives for cutting things off is this very same power dynamic - but it goes further. She says this:

"I've never been independent. First my mom, then Frank. I've never made my own decisions about anything. I've never taken action that wasn't approved by my mom . . .

"I'm not trying to influence your decision."

She nods. "I know. But I'm terrified that if we keep going like this, of if I let you fix my problems, I'm going to slip into a role where...I'm not myself."

"I don't want you to be anyone but yourself," I say. "I like you too much to want you to change."

"I know. The thing is, I feel like a toddler out in the world, I've spent my life trying to please my mom or at least avoid making her angry. I've bent and changed myself so much to fit her needs that I don't know who I am when I'm standing tall. I need to learn that."

. . .

"This isn't about you wanting me to be different. I know you don't--you wouldn't. This is about me trying to second-guess what you want and make myself fit without being asked. I'm not saying I'd deliberately do that. It wouldn't even happen right away. But little by little, I think I'd change myself. To make you happy."

If this is true (and it is, given the build up to this point), Rosey needs intensive therapy. Years of it. The kind of life she's lived up to this point is in some ways complex trauma that's not going to resolve itself right away, if ever. She needs to reprogram her ENTIRE way of thinking and behaving and doing things. She needs to figure out who she is and what she wants and take ownership over her own mind, desires and to claim her own agency. None of that is ever going to happen over night. And it certainly won't be able to happen in the final 25% of this novel.

The sad fact of the matter is, if Rosey genuinely feels this way about herself, she and Byron cannot be together for the very reasons she's listed out. And her turning around and changing her mind is only further proof that she doesn't KNOW what's best for her.

So do I think these two people are going to be happy together forever? Unfortunately, right now, no. I don't. I think it's a case of right person wrong time. Maybe 10 years down the road if they're both still single and still hot for each other and she's been in therapy for a decade and made significant improvements - I could see it.

As it stands, I think the author's presented us with a conflict that's simply too massive to be overcome in a barely 300 page story.

Love Fast is a charming, feel-good romance that captures the magic of new beginnings. It tells the story of a runaway bride eager to reclaim her independence and a reserved billionaire seeking belonging in his quaint hometown. When these two worlds collide, what begins as mere happenstance blossoms into a genuine connection, transforming strangers into unexpected friends—and maybe more.

Returning to Star Falls, Colorado, Byron is determined to showcase his new luxury resort and prove himself to the locals. His focus is unwavering, until a spirited newcomer arrives next door. Rosey, fleeing a controlling mother and an unwanted marriage, embodies independence and resilience. And so, she finds herself right next to the cabin with the brooding man next door, sparking an unlikely camaraderie.

This story offers a delightful blend of warmth and humor, set against a picturesque small-town backdrop. Told through alternating perspectives, the narrative flows effortlessly, celebrating honest communication and authentic relationships. The evolving bond between Byron and Rosey is heartwarming—moving from cautious acquaintances to passionate partners, all with a smile-worthy charm.

Initially slow to start, the story quickly drew me in with lively dialogue and relatable characters. Their honesty and openness made their journey feel real and refreshing. The small-town atmosphere adds a cozy, supportive vibe that reminds us of the importance of community and genuine connection.

Thank you so much Hambright and Author for the free ARC!
It was such a treat to dive into this world.
I swear I devoured this book like a hot chocolate on a snowy night. The vibes? Immaculate. The tension? Electric. Rosey running away in her wedding dress and crashing into Byron’s grumpy, broody world was pure fate—and I was living for every second of it. Byron is everything I love in a hero: emotionally guarded, rich, and unintentionally adorable when he falls. And Rosey? Bold, messy, vulnerable, and so damn relatable. Their late-night convos, snowed-in moments, and slow unraveling of feelings had me kicking my feet and smiling like a fool. Louise Bay gave us a small-town romance with heart, heat, and healing—and I’m obsessed. Already counting days for Love Deep!!

***Actual Rating: 3.5/5 Instalove Stars***

Yep, you read it right. This book turned out to be an insta-love story, which, if you knew me well, was one of my least favorite tropes because I much preferred slow-burn and character development through their romantic relationship. However, color me shocked that Rosey and Byron’s story didn't end up being as cheesy and clichéd as I initially thought. Louise's writing made it effortless to actually fall in love with them even after knowing their desire for each other was love at first sight. The whole story was really easy to read and the happy ending kinda warmed my heart. Since this was the first book in the Colorado Club Billionaires series, I would definitely continue with the rest of it and hopefully, it would get better and better!

***Thanks to the author and Hambright PR for kindly providing me with an e-ARC in exchange for an honest review.***

Love Fast was such a spectacular read. I just loved this small town so much. Stars Falls is where everyone knows everyone and everything.

Rosey runs to this incredible town when she becomes a runaway bride. Here she learns more about herself and it shows with every page. Even making the easiest decision are hard for her. She learns so much of herself, she knows she is cat person when one comes into her life. And she learns so about herself. She finds amazing connection with Byron and little by little it turns into so much more.

Byron is the home town boy, he goes back home and discovers lots about himself. As well, as how much everyone missed him all those years he was gone. You see how proud the town is of him, especially when he finally lets them in. He builds this new club with lots of opportunities. He never expected to fall for the runaway bride. But these two bring out the best in one another. Rosey shows him, that he matters to the town and they accept the new him. Byron shows Rosey that’s it’s ok to ask for what you want.

This story had it all, cozy night with hot chocolate, love, family, and friends. I really enjoyed this so much. I’m so happy Bryon got his story and found so much more.

Louise Bay organizes a tender-hearted battling of fate and fear, set in a snow-drenched Colorado town. Star Falls flows like a delicate heartbeat across each page, caressing a woman in exile and a man in emotional retreat. Rosey appears in her wedding gown like a lady escaping a confrontation, her presence poetry against the pale backdrop of Byron's icy isolation. The architecture of their proximity has a finesse to it—a structural elegance in how one broken history rubs against another, until the lines blur and hearts start to rewrite their own codes. Each movement they make is filled with anxiousness and a yearning.
.
Byron is a grumpy billionaire, a portrait of calm, softened by Rosey's golden tenderness, his resistance is no match for the gentle provocations of her presence—her laughter through the wall, her unchanging hope in a town that has practically forgotten his name. The connection blossoms with a passionate undercurrent—slow, steady, strongly felt. Byron's gradual disintegration is a joy to see, as he moves from denial to yearning without missing a single note.
.
Rosey's story elicits sympathy, with grit beneath grace and an unwillingness to romanticize her own suffering. Her secrets are like breath on a frosted window: temporary, half-formed, and haunting. The decision to flee her wedding liberates her, propelling her into the arms of the unknown with bravery that never seeks applause. Her relationship with Byron feels more like a reclamation—of self, passion, and the right to begin anew. She becomes into a catalyst for change in both her and his lives.
.
What Louise Bay delivers in Love Fast is a rhapsodic slow burn veiled as a runaway story, an arresting pause between past and future. The emotional architecture of this work is surprisingly outstanding utmost each chapter shaping desire, doubt, and discovery with care. Snow falls, bringing with it the defenses of two individuals who have learned to stay when it is easier to run. Their love seethes in quiet, holds your breath in its teeth, and then exhales, leaving tenderness where there was once just cold. A romance to sigh over, cherish dear, and believe in, all unfolded in a compelling prose that my eyes and heart enjoyed!

5 Star Review Love Fast (Colorado Club Billionaires #1) by Louise Bay

EBook/Audio:
Book one in the latest series from Louise Bay and if Love Fast is anything to go by, then she is off to a flying start.

When Rosey woke up, she never planned to become a runaway bride and yet that’s what happened.

I love stories set in my small towns, it’s one of my favourite tropes. This was a wonderful read that drew me in from the first chapter and refused to let me go until the final word was read.

Fleeing she landed in Star Falls. Finally ready to take charge of her own destiny. I loved how she finally came into her own.

The very last thing she expected was to fall for grumpy billionaire Byron. Neither were looking forward love, but fate had plans for these two.

Life hasn’t been easy for Rosey and Byron was just the man to support and protect her. I fell hard and fast for him, totally swoon worthy.

The narration by Jason Clarke and Samantha Brentmoor was entertaining and they did a fantastic job. Not only did they bring all the romance, humour passion and tension of the story to life but they did justice to this emotional story with voices that are easy to listen to.

Looking forward to reading more in the series.

Unexpected new beginnings

Love Fast is a wonderful romance between Rosey and Byron. Rosey is a runaway bride who has found herself in a rental cabin in Star Falls, Colorado. She literally has nothing but she is free and ready to figure out what she wants next. Bryon grew up in Star Falls and then left to become a very successful and rich businessman. He has also decided to remain perpetually single, with some flings along the way. He has returned to town with a plan to build a big and luxurious resort development. When they cross paths Rosey is smiles and sunshine and Bryon is broody and grumpy. But opposites attract and that kicks it all off for these two. Where they end up is anybody's guess and we all know it is going to be a delicious and engaging journey.

When two people running away from their lives in different ways collide, sparks are lit and ignite the love of a lifetime in Louise Bay's Love Fast for romance at its best!

Byron Miller spent a good portion of his life trying to prove his worth because of the past actions of others never really seeing the good person that others saw him as. His drive and determination ended up leaving him isolated and lacking despite successes.

Rosey William's never knew she was as strong and independent as she was until she took a chance when confronted with a life without love living under the exceptions of others. Her smart and caring outlook ended up being her greatest strength and what saved her from a life with little meaning.

Rosey and Byron were couple goals. Two lost souls found a way to move past their damaged past and create the perfect love. Their insight and intuitive caring for each other showed a depth to their feelings that took their connection from lust to one of substance and a future with little to no effort because when you know you know. Amazing chemistry was just a bonus to the emotional connection of Rosie and Byron and was well conveyed by Ms. Bay.

As always the supporting cast of this author's works add dimension to her stories. It is impossible to read a book by this writer without forming a real interest in her main character's inner circles. A great small town feel was presented in this story providing a nice backdrop for both Byron and Rosey's personal journeys.

Louise Bay does not just make great stand-alones in the series' she fabricates but wonderful entire series that fill her readers with invested interest and anticipation of all of her series' players lives. Getting down to the bare bones of family, friendship and loyalty is a strength of this author. Louise Bay's Love Fast is the kind of book that every romance reader wants on their shelf!

*I was given an advanced copy. All opinions expressed are my own.*
*While this book is part of a series it can be read as a stand alone.*

⛓️ ALC & ARC REVIEW ⛓️

Thank you so much @hambright_pr & @authorlouisebay for my early copies of Love Fast!

I LOVEEED this!!! First, @jasonclarkereads & @ms_brentmoor are phenomenal narrators. Samantha’s voice has such a kind tone to it, that I feel happy and peaceful whenever I listen to her! Second, I just truly enjoyed everything about this story. The amazing communication, the meet cute, the maturity of the characters, it was all *chefs kiss*. And of course, the spiceeeee 🥵😏

This was a love story, but it was also a story of healing from family trauma and coming out on the other side. Rosie was such an inspiring character, and I loved listening to her find her comfort zone.

Byron, oh baaaaaaaabayyy. What an amazing man! Supportive, kind, and also finding himself through his healing journey. I highly recommend this one 🖤
