This was such a fun quick read!! So many secrets and lies and not knowing who to trust 👀

Haley’s entire world turns upside down when a deadly terrorist group tries kidnapping her and she discovers everything she knows has been a lie.
David has been living a double life and was secretly assigned as Haley’s protector but quickly became her best friend. So when she finds out he’s been lying to her this entire time she’s obviously crushed.
I seriously love this trope!!

Haley and her group of friends then take it upon themselves to travel cross county to find answers and the journey is treacherous and more secrets are revealed.

I loved the banter and camaraderie between her friend group throughout the entire book!

This did leave on a cliffhanger and I can’t wait to see what happens next and hopefully see more of Haley and David’s relationship!

To be honest, I never read. But after one bored weekend and some family and friends informing me this is a “Must Read” I bit the bullet. Throughout the book it was filled with unexpected surprises that kept me on my toes the whole time. From the very first chapter of Haley getting taken to the very end, leaving me with such a cliffhanger, this book might have just caused me to continue reading not just future books of the Hidden Secrets series but books in general. By the way, David (the protector) was my favorite character. Someone who kept his word and focused on his job of being a protector until the very end. David’s traits is something I would like to see in my own life. For me, it’s being a protector, hard worker, someone who doesn’t sway with the world but focuses on being a good husband and a good dad similar to David protecting Haley at all costs.

It takes a lot these days for a book to really draw me in and keep my focus the whole time (thanks TikTok), but this book managed to grab my attention from the first page and kept me engaged throughout the whole story. The characters were interesting and I loved the character growth shown with both Haley and David by the end of the book. My favorite character is Ethan, so I’m hoping we get to see more of him in future books! I loved the suspense throughout the book and look forward to finding out what happens next! Definitely take the time to read this book!

I really enjoyed this book! It was fast-paced and kept me hooked the entire time. The plot drew me in, and the characters felt so relatable. Haley and David are such likable characters and it feels like you’re going through this mysterious, thrilling adventure with them. I also love that it’s clean! I can’t wait to read the next one!

From the very first chapters hidden secrets draws you in! Filled with suspense, twists, and teenage hormones I can’t recommend this book enough! I found myself captivated by the story line, flipping pages eagerly. It’s also clean which is a huge bonus for young readers!
