Hot sexy novella set over a few days of comic-con. Has cosplay elements!
H/h were already in a relationship at the beginning of the story. This book had a curvy 'Steam Bunny' h who owned her "curviness" and was luscious and confident which I really liked - it was refreshing!!The alpha comic-creator/boss H is obsessed with the h and proposes, but the h has parental issues and she declines. She is like:
"I’d tried to explain I was rejecting the institution of marriage rather than him..."
but this still makes the H hurt and grouchy, plus she has this teeny pregnancy problem thats unexpected! The book is all about how they get to the HEA; I liked that the h didn't hide the fact that she might be preggers even when she thought they might not end up together. Also all the sex scenes were really hot!! I really enjoyed this book and am on to bk2 which is about the BFF.

Loved this short, sassy, sweet read! I now have another Lucas to love!
It's fun and sexy, has a unique story, and one majorly hot Super Sexy Man-beast in Mr. Lucas Haskell. I cannot wait for more in this series.
Casey is one kick ass heroine, with a vulnerable side, and Lucas, oh.my.lanta...that man is sex on a stick if there ever was one.
This is another one of those books that I loved so much I find it hard write a review worthy of it.

I just love this book! For an Instagram challenge I'm participating in we had to pick an old favorite to reread in January so I decided to go with this one. I originally read Steam Bunny in February 2015, so hopefully 3 years is "old" enough!
I was worried I wouldn't have the same feelings for Casey and Lucas's story as I did when I first read it, but I'm happy to say I loved it just as much the second time around! It's steamy and sexy, with some great back and forth between the main characters. Even though this is a novella, the characters are fully fleshed out and you get a real feel for who they are. I loved that the story took place at a comic-con type event, it was entertaining to get a little "behind-the-scenes" peek at that world.
I'm generally not a rereaders, and when I do it's by listening to my favorite books on audio. But reading Steam Bunny again made me think I might want to revisit some of my other favorite indi books I haven't read in awhile.

Steam Bunny, the debut novella from Felicity Kates is the first in the Little Miss Kick-Ass erotic novella series. I loved the originality of this story. Casey Jackson, promotional model to the enigmatic and very sexy author Lucas Haskell, takes us on her sensual journey, in search of love. Full of erotic moments this is a light-hearted novella with an outwardly wilful yet inwardly vulnerable heroine and an enigmatic but secretly soft-hearted hero.
Lovers as well as work colleagues, the couple have hit an impasse in their relationship. Casey loves Lucas but her aversion to marriage forces her decision to hang up her bunny costume and leave the man she loves. Lucas is determined to keep his Steam Bunny and will do whatever it takes, to make Casey stay.
Told from Casey's point of view this is a humorous, naughty tale. An erotic quest for happy ever after. You may need to cool off when you've read this sizzler, which makes it the ideal quick, adult read for the beach or pool.
I look forward to the next in the series where we meet, two more larger than life characters.

Can I just say this is a book to NOT judge by its title! This little gem was AMAZING and unlike anything I have read recently.

Steam Bunny is a fun, sexy romance.
He knows just what he wants: ever after, with her. She has strong, justifiable reservations about marriage, no matter how sexy and wonderful the guy. He’s nursing a hurt ego, and probably a bruised heart, over her turning down his proposal.
Watching the two overcome their hurt feelings, their fears, their pride, was like music to my eyes. :)
Felicity Kates writes with a smooth cadence. The voice she gives Casey is hilarious, brilliant, and totally relatable for women.
Can’t wait for the next installment in the series!

I was internally SCREAMING at this book. The tension, the TENSION! Oh so good, I loved every page! Can't wait to read the next one!

Steam Bunny is so beautiful and the writing is so alive!
The love between Casey and Lucas is literally burning. At times, their love is so sweet, so beautiful and the passion that follows after that is so hot. We are talking about scenes that are so hot and steamy that it fogs-up-the-window!
Another incredible thing about Steam Bunny is the cosplaying element here. You don’t need a hot billionaire or BDSM club owner to heat up the atmosphere. A graphic novel artist and a woman who cosplay as his main character is all you need for some hot action!
Seriously, I never knew cosplay can be incorporated into a romantic novella and still be so hot! That is until the Little Miss Kick-Ass series!

I loved steam bunny! This was an excellent short loving sweet and sassy story, Casey the heroine in this story was a strong sassy type ( which I love) and also known as steam bunny a com a con character. Anyways she loves Lucas would do anything for him except for one thing she turns down his marriage proposal why because not something that scares her and she's just not quite ready to deal with that. To watch these two power struggle with each other with the passion and heat that happens when they come together wow bone melting. Then we have Lucas my my heart Alpha Lucas who is the reason for steam bunny and loves Casey with everything he has.
Can Casey get past her fears and jealousy?
Can Lucas convince Casey that they are meant to be together forever?
Can these two stop fighting for one minute to see what's really in front of them?
This book had me laughing and feeling the frustrations that Casey had felt. Had me swooning over Lucas. I would definitely recommend this as a great read especially if you love passion and laughter and sassy.
Can Casey get past her fears and jealousy?

Ahhhh....the novella that hooked me and started my love for these Little Miss Kick Ass stories!
Casey and Lucas have been hot and heavy for months and everything seems perfect...until...well, until Lucas upsets the status quo, and issues an ultimatum to Casey. Well, she bolts (what woman wouldn't???) and what follows is three weeks of Hell for them both.
When they manage to come back together, the sparks fly and the pages of my Kindle were in dire jeopardy from the hot and heavy sexcapades between these two characters. But just when you think all is well between these two stubborn and opinionated people, mistrust and misunderstandings rise up to threaten their happiness.
A page turner and a half, I HIGHLY recommend that you pick up Steam Bunny, and the follow up, Fit To Be Tied!

A really nice story about true love and the reality of it. I enjoyed reading about Casey and Lucas's problems...hers with commitment,and his with domination. The comic book world is an unusual backdrop, and makes this book stand out in its genre. I laughed, loved, and cried right along with these well-written fully fleshed out characters. I was also pleasantly surprised by the length of this supposed novella. Ive read shorter books advertised as full length. All in all, an enjoyable read. For those of you worried about erotic content, yes there are scenes for the 18+ crowd, steamy and explicit, but they only enhance the story, and don't crowd out the hefty bulk of the plot. Loved it!

This was an interesting story to say the least... I really enjoyed the story line and the cosplay aspects of this tale, but at times I really wanted to pop Casey upside the head....Lucas a very talented and amazing man whom Casey works for/with and is also in a relationship with...the story keeps you wondering what's going to happen next, and which one will realize the error in their thinking...onto the next

You got to read this short hot story! Funny at times, intense at others, peppered with steamy scenes, this story is just delish. We follow Casey and Lucas overcome their impasse in their relationship and have a HEA. The secondary characters are just as great, hinting at the next story for which I am waiting impatiently. Great start Ms. Kates!

WOW I LOVED THIS NOVELLA. THE SEXUAL CHEMISTRY BETWEEN CASEY AND LUCAS IS HOT, NOT TO MENTION THE SEXY SCENES ESPECIALLY THE BALCONY SCENE. THIS IS MY FIRST TIME READING FOR THIS AUTHOR AND DEFINITELY WONT BE THE LAST.
