Nurina is a woman that stands on business. When she says something, she means it. Working as a maid for seven years, she’s never encountered a client who is so open. There’s a man that makes her question every decision she’s made thus far in life. For the first time since becoming a maid, the rules get broken.

Maverick is a retired MLB player that just so happens to be a single father as well. They’re where his priorities lay which causes him to slack in certain house duties. Convinced to get help, he calls into Maids of Honor and is granted a maid. One of the best actually. However, he never thought calling for assistance would become the most challenging thing in his life.

Two grown and very blunt personalities collide in a space where they’re forced to coexist. One craves physical touch while the other knows their limitations.

Maverick was someone who knew what he wanted and was not going to take no for an answer. He wasn't forceful but he definitely laid it on strong to the point where Nuri could not resist any longer what she knew she wanted to do from day one. I did find it interesting how Maverick seemed to be a totally different person when dealing with his kids than he was when dealing with Nuri but I guess every situation requires a little different approach. One night of pleasure led to changes in both of their lives that I don't think either of them expected but it seemed to be what each of them needed which I liked for them.

I had so many questions. This was a fun little read however what the hell? LMFAO!!! First darling, yall cleaning in whet? This man knew what y'all were wearing and didn't think about the kids? the man just was not taking no for an answer. you did what to this man in his room and walked off? The kids walking in was diabolical. 10 hours of sex???? WHEEEEERRRRREEEEEE????? I couldnt even do that at 18. I digress. 10 hours??????? Then she went ghost for 43 days after. INSANE. INSANE

In Connie Easton's Maids of Honor: Nurina readers are introduced to some of the staff at Maids of Honor, a provocative cleaning company that hires beautiful women to clean the houses of the rich and famous wearing little to nothing for a whole lot of money.

Maids of Honor: Nurina is very fast-paced and right away readers meet Nurina, one of Maids of Honor's most senior housecleaners and the company's newest client, retired baseball player Maverick. There's a lot of sexual tension between these two characters and they're quick to act on it, ultimately leading to HEA that I didn't expect in a book that's less than 90 pages.

Though the story is very engaging and a bit entertaining, Maids of Honor: Nurina missed the mark for me in many ways. First, I think the book is gaining popularity because folks keep saying that it's spicy. I mean...I guess, but after you've read some truly spicy books, this story comes off as a bit tame. I mean the dialogue between the main characters is there, but that's about it. Second, I wasn't a fan of J or Krys. Third, Maverick wasn't presented the way I thought he would be as a retired baseball player and widowed single father. Fourth, there wasn't much character development and this really shows when the FMC flees the MMC because she's not prepared to handle her strong feelings for him. Fifth, the story is too fast paced for there to not be a timeline. I think that in addition to the dual POV, the author should've let readers know how long Nurina and Maverick were in contact, it would've given me as a reader more space to get invested in them and their relationship.

All in all, I recommend Maids of Honor: Nurina to any fans of Connie Easton; fans of erotica; and anyone looking for a quick read that they finish in one day.

I knew plenty men that demanded control, but we willingly gave it to him because he knew how to protect and provide without question. There was nothing me or the kids asked for and he didn’t deliver on. That was what made him the head of the house.

Sweet & SPICY!

Imagine thinking this is another job, no biggie but lo and behold you have to fight temptation HARD! Maverick is BOLD, no filter. Off-rip from the time that door opened Maverick “Ricky” was captivated by Nuri. This cat and mouse game was cute but Ricky said AHT-AHT let me lay down the law and baby the law was LAID lol. Their chemistry was undeniable! Don’t run Nuri, submit & let this man claim you!

Connie don’t miss!!

Nuri and Maverick made me feel like a fan who was able to go to my first live game!! The way he took control and demanded what he wanted really set the tone of the book. He took control without it feeling controlling, but instead made you want to give in to his demands.
I loved that Nurina just knew she was THAT GURL!!! I love a good baby inducing session and after those 10 hours, I knew it was coming. Welp, on to the next in the collection. Great read!

This story was good don’t get me wrong but I swear it needed to be longer or answer more questions. The maids of honor? Where they do that at and how are we getting to work like that daily for many clients and expect them to behave? Ricky was on demon time and knew what he wanted and would possess as soon as he opened the door. The amount of pressure he applied for Nuri and the way that he talked to her all well being unapologetic, was enough to have anybody submitting. Nuri was very sure of herself, but not in a offputting way her confidence and her quickwhit was admirable. Please tell me where you’re allowed to just up and leave work for 43 days and come back like nothing ever happened? The chemistry was their from jump so it was only a matter of time before they knew what we the readers and Ricky already said to be true.

This book gave all the vibes, especially for a novella with only 87 pages. The author really did a great job in getting her point across making you fall in love with both the characters and wanting more. There were some grammatical errors, but I’m just picky. The MMC is top-tier book boyfriend material. The FMC was respectful, submissive, and a little bit childish, but Maverick is BDE supremacy.

These two here….first off Connie you started this off with HIGH EXPECTATIONS!!!! The spice level in this book is 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ Nurina & Maverick were destined! The instant attraction was felt in the pages. I’m glad she stood her ground with him until she felt safe enough. I’m love the BDE and pressure he applied! Him in his father mode was what made him sexier to me! She pissed me off once cause 43!?????!!!! But she made up for it! I loved loved loved this!!!

Nothing like a good spicy book! Maverick broke Nuri all the way down professionalism went goodbye so fast. How would you play it if your client is a fine arrogant suave retired baseball player?.. New to this Author

I’m new to this Author and usually steer clear of short stories. This one came across as a recommendation on Facebook, and I’m glad I took a chance! Maverick Wells is my type of good time and Nurina was time enough for him! Chance’s little crush tickled me! My only complaint is that it is so short and I didn’t want it to end.

Nurina and Ricky

Nurina works for Maids of Honor and can't stand her trifling client she has and asks her boss for a transfer. He sends her to Ricky's house and the sparks fly. I loved the banter and chemistry between Ricky and Nurina. I loved the story. I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the books in this series. And the author was new to me.

Just nah

Although it was only 87 pages this took me 3 days to read. I am not a huge fan of instalove or lust. It wasn't a bad story just kind of surface level. And everyone was so indecisive. No i don't want him but i want him. Girl don't do it. Friend gonget that man.
