Mya Peters is troubled, broken and she found herself in a place nightmares are made of. I live in a small town called Burton on Trent, Staffordshire in the middle of England. This lovely little town is famous for making beer, and I have called it home since I was born.
I have a daughter called Shelby and although I was a young mother, I couldn't be more proud of the beautiful young lady I have raised, I was eighteen years old when she came into my life, and I love her more than anything in the world.
I am quite a positive person, and with some of the hardships I have encountered over the years has made me a stronger person. I lost my mum to cancer over ten years ago, and although I lost my best friend that day I believe in my heart that she would be proud of me.
I started writing because of my love for books, but also, because of my disability. I was a bit of a medical miracle you see, I survived, when I really shouldn't have. And whilst my illness left me with some lasting effects, it also left me with a new outlook, determination and confidence that I could do it, so I did!
I have loved reading for a number of years now, and my only regret is that I wish I had read more as a youngster. I believe it is very important to teach children the love of books from an early age, the earlier the better in my opinion.
I am in a relationship with a wonderful man called Ian. He is very supportive of my writing and calls me 'his clever girl', for some reason this always makes me blush. Ian and my daughter know when to give me some space to write, they know that I can become quite tetchy when in the zone. But they also know that I need an endless supply of coffee, and maybe some chocolate thrown into the mix.
I believe in my work, I believe in my stories, and I hope you do too...trust me, there's a lot more to come!

Belleza (Spanish for beauty) is Jane Heron’s debut novel and OMFG,
what a fantastic debut novel this is!
This book had me hooked from the first chapter and I couldn’t put it
down. You meet some wonderful characters in this book as well which is
a bonus. It had me crying, laughing and OMG'ing all the way through
and with an unexpected twist at the end this is a definite must read!
Oh and the smutty scenes are very hot too ;-)
Belleza follows the story of Mya & Joe, two people who meet by chance
on two separate occasions and decide to get to know each other better.
There is a definite chemistry between the pair that neither of them can
deny. Things progress pretty quickly between the two but Mya is
harbouring secrets from her past that she just cannot bring herself to tell
Joe.
Will Mya's past threaten her & Joe's future together or will she reveal the
whole truth to Joe before it’s too late?
This book sooo deserves the 5 stars I have given it. Well done Jane and
I cannot wait for your next book.

5 Stars.....Wow, Loved this story:)
ok, I just finished this story, that by the way, came to my attention out of the blue, lol and boy, oh, boy am I glad it did!!!!!! From what I have read this Author is very new to writing and I think that I read that this was her first book, her debut... Well, it was great. It was very engaging and I mean from the get-go until the very end, I mean no skimming here, lol:) The storyline was great, yes, it felt a little quick and sometimes the dialogue wasn't the best and I don't mean that bad but there were some scenes that I felt could use some work on for the future BUT considering this is her first, spectacular!!!!
This story was low on drama and angst but with that being said, I did feel some angst especially the latter half of the book, but the read itself was light, fast paced, and fairly quick. I felt the story flowed seamlessly albeit for a quick read and the sex scenes were GREAT and I mean HOT in every way:) I LOVED not only Joe but Mya too, they were so damn adorable together. I have to admit that since I have never read anything by this author before, I was quite on edge the whole time reading because I wasn't sure what the heck to expect, I mean I was expecting some things to happen with certain characters and not necessarily good so I kept waiting for that shoe to drop and when it did it was very mild from what I am used to, lololol!!!!!
All in all, I loved it and I already have her next book Alias on my Kindle, which is Trixie's story, we met her in this book and I do look forward to reading it!

Belleza by Jane Heron.

I read this book quite quickly. Took me a couple of hours. I felt the first couple of chapters started off a bit slow, and I was a tad unsure if I could actually get into it. But I did and I'm glad I finished it. quite an easy read.
Mya has had a really rough ride in life her story comes out throughout the book, Her character seems older than early twenties, and there is a few shocking moments in her life, I would never have guessed about them. She seems level headed but also shows a lot of weakness.
Joe although a CEO he is not your typical CEO. He wears his heart on his sleeve and comes across quite soft. A couple of his parts in the story just didn't gel with me, but Joe is so loveable in a cute way.
Mya and Joe's characters worked well together. I liked Sam would like to read a story about him he seems your typical cocky play boy. Trixie is also a very interesting character but I can imagine she herself has been through a lot of crap in her life.
This is a story of chance meetings, harbouring secrets and love, a good mix to keep you reading till the very end

I loved this book. Every time I said ‘it’s getting late I should go to bed', I couldn’t. I read this book straight through, I could not put it down. I LOVE JOE!!! He’s great, hot, smart, sexy, just a PERFECT man. He’s just coming off from his divorce and trying to start over. I hate his ex, Lydia. Now she is a Bi@$H!! She lost a great man and likes to play the victim. I love Mya, my heart break for her, she comes off as a sweet and innocent girl, but she’s not, she’s strong and a survivor. She been dealt a crap hand and she’s done the best she could. Mya and Joe go through a roller coaster ride in their relationship, emotions come up, feeling get hurt, lies and truths are faced. They both need get closure on the things that are hurting them. This is a great book. I loved how I never saw what was coming. I loved the characters. Some I didn’t like and came to like and some shocked me. J.A. Heron I can’t wait to read your next book.

I love this book, loved all the characters in it, especially Trixie she is very flamboyant. I love Mya's and Joe's chemistry together.
I also enjoyed the story line to the book very enjoyable.
At the ending it made me want to cry.
I recommend this book for a feel good moment.

I was gifted this book, and it was a nice quick read. The first couple chapters seemed to be lacking more description. But after that it really eased in. I thought I had the book figured out but it threw me for a loop in the end. :)

Mya Peters is trying to move on with her life. After her brother Nick was killed five years ago, she is still struggling. Her parents have disowned her, accusing her of getting Nick killed. But Mya is a survivor, she is working her way through college and will graduate soon. Joe Green is a survivor too. He has finally gotten the divorce from his cheating ex-wife Lydia and it is time for him to move on. He owns his own company, Greens Construction, and things are going well. New clients all the time. Things are looking good.
When Joe leaves the lawyers office after signing the divorce papers, his cab is stolen by a dark haired, blue eyed beauty. After she is gone in the cab, Joe kicks himself, he should have gotten her number. After his morning run the next morning, he stops at the coffee shop and he spots her, the cab stealer. She is working there on the weekends. Mya and Joe hit it off and you can tell the attraction is there between them. Things are going great between them until while they are at Pip’s birthday party. When Lydia shows up, things go really wrong for Mya and Joe. Joe learns about Mya’s past and he is heartbroken and can't bear to be near her. He throws her out of the suite and the anger consumes him. Sam, Joe’s best friend, shows up to help. But nothing can help Joe survive this.
Will Mya finally get to tell Joe the truth about her past? Can Joe move on without Mya? Will her parents even stop blaming her for Nick’s death? Can they both move forward and have a life together?
This is a first for me by J.A. Heron and it is a really good story and I enjoyed it. There are a few grammar errors but not enough to make the story hard to read. This story is about pain, lose, love and best friends.

You see Mya's story unfold a little at a time, we get an understanding of who she is and how she came to be the woman she is today. Mya found herself going from happy go lucky existence to a woman desolate with nothing in the click of an eye and it was heart wrenching to read.
We then meet Joe who thinks he has it all, he is successful and in a happy marriage, well he was happy until he walked in on his wife in a compromising position. Can Joe start a new life, well he hopes he can and so do I. When Joe meets Mya he is overwhelmed by her and has to know more.
The connection these two have is instant but the path they go on is a difficult one and although they feel the connection between each other they have to fight to hold onto what they have.
Throughout this book Mya’s past keeps coming back to haunt her, everytime she feels she is getting somewhere her past tries to knock her right back down again.
I did feel my heart in my throat a few times throughout this story.
You will love this story if you love the romantic angst, the romantics who love to hear of couples who fight for their HEA.
Were there times I could knock these two heads together and shout at them to get themselves together…. Yes is the answer to that one. I found myself shouting at my kindle at various times.
Just when I thought things were going well and there was no more drama Ms Heron decides she was not done with these two and brings out a second book, Alias. What a ride this has been.
Ms Heron brings characters that you can enjoy reading about, there is emotion, anger and love in this first book.

Joe thought he had it all, a successful business and a happy marriage, that was until he walked in on his wife and her boss. We meet Joe as he signs off on his divorce decree, at the beginning of what he hoped to be a new life. It is here that Mya breezes in and out of his life leaving Joe breathless and desperate to find out who this mystery woman is.
And the Gods of Fate are on Joe's side. He manages to bump into Mya again and a connection begins that take both Joe and Mya on a tumultuous journey, one that neither expected and neither was ready to go on, but by golly they are determined to hold on tight!
What drives this story is Mya's past that keeps sneaking in and threatening a positive future. There are multiple antagonists who do not wish for her happiness.If you love angsty romances that have characters who are always one step behind getting that golden ticket of happily ever after then you will love this story. There were moments I wanted to bang Mya and Joe's heads together...but the journey was worth it to the very end...And just when I thought the angst was over Ms Heron has a second book, Alias...I may need a stiff drink!!!!

So from the first page you are dragged into Mya Peters hell. What unfolds for her over the coming months and years would leave it's mark on Mya. Despite having little support she has got herself to a place in her life she is proud of, but has this always been the case?
She meets Joe and the pair are obviously besotted. The longing between the pair was incredible and believable however, a family event would drag up someone from Joe's past, but also reveal Mya's past too....I only hoped the pair would be strong enough to cope with this. But time passes until a night out would bring Joe and Mya face-to-face.
With what seems like a cruel turn of events Mya is faced with a situation that would frighten some. But from this her life would move forwards and she would seek some closure, but would this be with Joe by her side or have too many lies been told? Can he trust her again? Would they get the happily ever after they deserved?
Oh it had me hooked from the first page right till the last. An amazing read with an even better story line. I would highly recommend! Go get your copy of this five star read...something in this book for everyone!

Not sure what to say about this story. The characters seemed older than their mid 20s. I am not sure if it's because the story took place in London or that that the characters were meant to be older. Joe seemed like a sweet man who wore his heart on his sleeve. May went through some hard stuff in her life. You got to do what you got to do. The two meet when they grab the same taxi and Joe was nice enough to give the taxi to Mya. They meet again when Joe stops for a water at a cafe that Mya works at. Automatically there is a connection between the two of them. Everything goes well but Mya holds back from revealing much about herself to Joe. This causes a rift between the two of them and Joe doesn't want to hear any explanation from Mya and that made me mad. If Joe loved Mya the way he,said he did he could've listened to her explanation. But once Joe came to his senses him and Mya lived HEA.

The story really kept be interested as I followed along in their journey with its ups and downs, and a lot of hot sex. I was happy to get my HEA and thank you Ms. Heron for the two epilogues. I love to be able to see what the future brings for the characters.

I was gifted this book for my honest review and it is a beautiful story of survival from tragedy with added fun, hot scenes and brilliant characters. the way this story is told you are able to build your picture and fall in love with characters and the plot is the realistic part that you know these things happen, I really couldn't put this down as I needed to know what happened.
Joe is a newly divorced man, just wants to be happy and has his own business, he isn't your bad boy, you fall in love with him because he is realistic, Mya has been through the murder of her brother, disowned by her parents as they blame her, done what she had to to survive being by herself in London, but that all leaves scars. This is a must read J Heron has captured so much in this it will leave you in no doubt how great a writer she is.

I had the pleasure of being gifted this book, by this amazing author.
I found this such an easy read, full of romance angst and betrayal.
Love the characters Joe and Mya. Fell in love with these 2.
Joe by all description is super Hot and talented to say the least. Mya seems super sexy and brainy to boot, she's been dealt a pretty shitty hand in life but keeps on fighting even if that means doing things she's not proud of.
Love the relationships these two have with their best friends, wish Trixey was in it more, but she is in Alias so I'll look forward to reading that.
If you like Erotic heart gripping books this definitely wont disappoint you .....Damn the sex scenes even got me excited lol wished I was mya.

I'm glad I found this story. I loved the way two people with troubled pasts find each other. It is full of emotions, struggle, inner demons, but love wins most of the times.
The sex is hot, and I found that it strenghtens the story line, instead of being tossed there just for the fun.
Joe has never had luck with women, but he runs into his dream woman accidentally in the street. Will he ever see her again? I guess we know the answer.
Mya has had it hard in life, but she's a strong girl who never gives up. Not even when her past catches up with her.
Interesting characters, deep emotions. I only gave it four stars as the twist were a bit predictable for me, but as I'm a romance-lover, it didn't spoil the good read.

I loved J.A. Heron's style of writing and was hooked from the first few pages.
Joe is a tasty male lead and has a bit of alpha inside him (which is my favourite kind). I adored Mya's backstory of formally working for an escort agency, and the struggle that she has in falling for Joe and him learning her secret.
There are also some great sideline characters too. Trixie...love her!

This was a great debut novel by this author, who has since produced more work since I won a copy of this back in August 2014. Coming off a painful divorce, Joe falls for the beautiful Mya, who has suffered so much loss in her young life your heart breaks for her and makes all of her choices completely understandable. They have instant undeniable chemistry, but Heron doesn't make things easy for them all of the way. The plot was different to your usual erotic romance novels, which was refreshing, and the pace had me reading the story in one night. I will definitely read more by this author.

This book is for the women who likes the real and sweet kind of man.
The book starts off nice and slow and it is very descriptive which in this case are both good things cuz it lets you get to know the main man Joe Green much better and fall in love with him. Joe is not a macho but he is a book boyfriend that you will find really real because he has emotions and he can hurt which makes you fall in love with him right of the bat.. and that is all I am gonna say cuz the rest you will have to read yourself ;)
I will defiantly recommend this book to ladies that love the sweet man ;)

I loved the concept of the plot and the way the author made you feel when reading about these two troubled souls.
I went through a range of emotions, anger, hate, love, tears and laughter are to mention just a few.
This is a quick read with a few issues such as grammar, but it does not make this any less of a great read.
A super debut for a potentially great writer!

I really enjoyed this story. It was a slow start but still it caught my attention and I couldn't put it down. It was great to see Mya get what she deserned, she had such a hard life. And Joe is perfect for her. Their relationship is explosive. This story is quite an emotional roller coaster. Can't wait to read Trixie's story.

A great read! A page turner for sure ... wanting to know more about what the past holds makes you read it very fast indeed. Whilst a love blossoms, the past comes back to haunt ... excellent suspense. I would thoroughly recommend this book!

Great story I enjoyed this read. Joe was super sweet. May was strong I enjoyed the characters very much. Joe was different from the hard alphas I mostly read so this was a nice change. I really loved how the meet. Super cute story.

I really enjoyed this book. There were a lot of twists and turns. I love that it was based in the UK. I highly recommend this for anyone who is a sucker for a good romance book.
