The cover drew me in….
Mmmm not sure how to express my feelings about this book. Very simplistic plot. I enjoyed the characters but they lacked depth. If you are not going to add steamy scenes at least have some swoony romance between Freya and Brendan. Their attraction seemed too instant and wooden. Doreen needs to learn how to write romance with some feeling. I guess I give two stars for the amazing cover. 🤷♀️ Sorry!

Runaway bride for Scottish Laird.
Very interesting. A distinctive young bride from another clan being forced to marry an older Laird of another clan and the problems she encounters in attempting to not marry him.

Learning to grow
This is my first reading of this author and I thoroughly enjoyed it. An excellent example of how one can be changed with the right influence. I will definitely read more of her books.

Awesome book.
Had a great plot. Liked the fact that the book wasn't filled with constant, explicit sex scenes. Love the strong women in it. Great read💕
