Enjoyable read

I am enjoying this series immensely, following the family with their wins and struggles learning to homestead. Maybe because its something that I considered and would have enjoyed with a willing partner. Living vicariously through characters in a book is one of the many pleasures to enjoy about reading. This book ended much too quickly! I highly recommend the series.

Delightful series on homesteading & family

The family are complete newbies, learning to homestead, making mistakes, & finding the joy in quiet moments. Plenty goes wrong, & the setbacks make for challenges. Friends make the difference, even as some are departing, others’ grow deeper. Family is always at the center, love remains a constant.

What a lovely pleasant read

Kate has a way of writing making you feel you are having a long visit with an old friend telling you about her life and now I wait as she puts the coffee pot on for her to continue with her story.

This is such a good series and I am reading a book in 12 hrs. The challenges keep coming, some worse than others but Josh and Abby and the children keep moving forward.
Looking forward to the next book
