Maybe she liked cruel bastards who treated her badly, or maybe she chose them because she was looking for someone to replace Ricardo.

Get out of my room, you misogynistic pig."
"Contrary to what they say about me, I'm all about women's rights: their right to take my cock up their culo."

"Without another word, he strode across the room carrying Bianca up the staircase. He stopped outside his bedroom door, realizing he couldn't take her in there. There was proper etiquette, her integrity also needed protection. He moved to the neighboring door, his previous lover's room. Okay. Well the beginning was confusing and that is probably what made reading the novel less enjoyable. I was anticipating this one to be epic and adding to my long list of amazing series. However, after reading this one? I'm unsure .. I'm hoping the next book could redeem this one. Don't get me wrong when I say this book had potential and could have been marvelous. The plot was exciting and had me intrigued. Ricardo was hot .. everything about that man .. DAYUM! The way that Bianca stayed with the Santini's was strange or rushed? Not sure why but I feel like it could have been slower and more involvement from Ricardo. Maybe if the novel was longer than more depth could have been gradually added rather than having the information shoved down your throat in the FIRST FEW CHAPTERS. I'm usually quite good with following along but it was way TOO much way TOO fast! Nevertheless, it was well written and I found it an average read from the first book I read from the author.
As for the next book ...
