An excellent book with a lot of actionable steps withs examples to help faculty move closer to the joyful life of teaching and thriving in academia. While the book is subtitled “A Woman Faculty of Color’s Guide,” the teaching strategies in the book will benefit anyone who wants research-based teaching strategies. Definitely a must-read for women faculty of color but also a must-read for anyone who wants change and progress in the culture of teaching in higher education. There are also actionable steps for allies at the end.
