The introduction, describing the life of the Nahuatl-speaking people pre- and post-conquest, is the best part of this little book. The title and sub-title are a bit misleading; the text is a series of short, formal addresses among children, parents, teachers, and religious and political leaders expressing care and giving generic advice.
