3.5 ⭐️ Men like him weren’t used to women who could match their energy. They were used to followers, not women who could hold their own. But me? I wasn’t a follower. I was a force.
So BOOOOOMMM, you end up hiring a second maid & she ends up being the laziest maid EVER? However, every time you go to fire shorty, you just can’t do it because it’s something about her (maybe her sharp tongue, the fact that she’s not scared of you, she has brains & body, just to name a few things) that stops 🛑 you E V E R Y S I N G L E T I M E!😂🤣 wellp, that’s how the we are introduced to Gemini and Kendra’s story together & I ATE IT UP!

Pure comedy!
This was my favorite in the series! Kendra was not only the worst maid, she couldn't cook she, she couldn't clean but she was hilarious!
“It’s called air cleaning,” I said matter-of-factly. “You wouldn’t understand.” He let out a humorless chuckle. “Air cleaning?” “Yep. Gets rid of invisible particles. Very advanced technique. I’d explain it, but I don’t think you’d keep up.” I gave him a sweet smile."

potential .
This story had so much potential, and I really wanted to love it. The premise pulled me in, and there were moments that truly shined; especially Kendra’s witty, sharp attitude. She was easily the highlight of the book for me. But as much as I enjoyed parts of it, the story ultimately left me feeling unsatisfied.
The pacing wasn’t the problem. I usually don’t mind a fast-paced read but this one felt like it skipped over too much. There were gaps in the storytelling that made it hard to connect with the characters or understand their growth. The ending, in particular, felt abrupt and incomplete. A huge secret was revealed, and instead of letting that moment breathe or play out, it rushed straight into what felt like a half-finished epilogue.
By the time I reached the last page, I was more frustrated than fulfilled. It’s disappointing because the bones of a great story were there , the setup, the potential, the spark — but it just didn’t come together the way I hoped. I wanted to love it, but in the end, it’s a no for me.

Kendra was a mess I mean ma’am how do you stay on employed for months and do not work. I need her employer to be my employer. Gemini and Kendra story was realistic and far at the same time. With the work that Gemini does, it’s hard to not know that the lines were going to cross at some point or another. Kendra was very sassy mouthy very sure and confident in herself, and I love that for her because even though things in her life had been turned upside down she still was true to who she is and she never lost her self. How did Gemini’s mama not even know somebody is slipping on their job however, all in all the story was cute. I’m glad at the ending of the story and how everything plays out for Kendra and Gemini.

No more mink coats, she was now a maid; Kendra was in a state of disbelief LOL! “One dose of you… have me addicted!” Gemini couldn’t resist Kendra no matter how hard he tried. She was a force to be reckoned with! The way he protected her when he found out her “why”… ohhh what a MAN! Big Steppa!!

Kendra and Gemini
This is a first time read from this author for me but baby sis had me hooked. Make me wanna work for Honor. I'm glad Elisa got her Karma what ever it was cause really homegirl was a lil snitch running around there. As much as Kendra bopped her you would have thought she'd learned her lesson and mind her business. I love Kendra for Gemini and apparently his mother thought so to. She brought substance into his life even though she was a horrible maid. Great Read.❤❤

I enjoyed the book. It would’ve been 5⭐️ if it was a little longer. Having Gemini about to shoot Kendra and then jumping to 19 months later is crazy. I wanted to read a about the whole conversation and them talking about Elisa. Also, I would’ve liked to read about him firing her and Elisa reaction not just a brief explanation on it. Finding out that she’s pregnant and then not being able to read about her pregnancy or a little part of it was crazy as well especially since it goes to the epilogue right after and she’s pregnant again.

I liked this one & the fact that the characters didn’t instantly fall all over one another was good. The back & forth was a bit much. Kendra was beyond stubborn cause she could’ve at least picked a task & adapted cause if Gemini had fired her frfr she would’ve been messed up. Gemini showed that he was a man about his business but didn’t fully stand his ground with Kendra lol. I loved the mom with her shenanigans! Elisa should’ve gotten more than what she got but I do like how it played out.

This is one of the best funniest story I read in a while. Necole/Kendra was a hot mess. She kept you entertained until the very end.
I was happy Gemini allowed himself to feel again and him and Lazy end up together.
Elisa did all that snitching only to still end up without Gemini.
When I heard the gunshot, I was hesitant to turn the page, but when I did, a big smile spread on my face.
Magnificent story!

Kendra didn't come to play she was going to get that man one way or another and look how it turned out he ended up saving her from harm and living the good life with him that Elisa was so aggravating she was a blocker for real she really thought she was doing something showing him her weak evidence like that was going to get him girl he didn't want you at all look how long you been working as the maid and nobody wanted you she's something else

I laughed throughout this whole book that dang maid didn't do nothing but BS her way through. I loved how the author put a spin on it. Kendra or whatever you wanted to call her was crazy. Baby she worked Gemini’s last nerve! Hunni and Gemini he tried 🥴 he was nice to ladies at home but a beast in the street! 🔥🔥🔥 5/5

Kendra Necole, this is the cutest read. Lawd have mercy that Kendra was a hot mess. I loved her she was resilient if nothing else. I enjoyed her strength though. She really had so much funny stuff going on with her how could you reprimand her without thinking it was your fault for even questioning her? I loved this read.🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗

Chile Ms. Kendra, Ms. Kendra. She kept me laughing with her shenanigans. I just knew Mr. Honor was going to let her go with the stunts she pull. Gemini didn’t know how to handle my girl at first, she work that man for sure. You did a wonderful job and most definitely was a good read.

Kendra and Gemini were really the same person. One thing about Kendra she knew exactly who she was and a maid was never it 😭😭😭😭. Kendra was that girl and that’s exactly who Elisa wish she was! Kendra definitely lit a fire under Gemini cause once he got her couldn’t get enough.

Kendra was something else. I knew she didn't know how to clean or cook. Lol. She had Mr laughing so much because Gemini didn't know what to do with her. I am just happy that he didn't kill her since she was pregnant, and she is finally safe and outbound witness protection. Great Read!

This was a short story but it also felt like a slow burn. Something about a short story feels like its pose to get to the point. When the “secret” was revealed towards the end, it immediately went to the epilogue. I was at least curious to what Gemini’s reaction was to Kendra’s past seeing as though they had people in common & didn’t know it.

4.5 ⭐️ Pretty entertaining and laugh out loud funny. Fmc was a whole mess who had to hideaway as a maid, but one thing Ms.Kendra don’t do it clean lol. She gave Gemini the hardest time while being his greatest entertainment. I enjoyed reading.

the kingpin and his fake maid
I enjoyed this book. I imagined Kendra as Stunna girl and Jela from baddies lol. That lady was not about to clean anything. The ending felt abrupt but wrapped up. I enjoyed the cat and mouse on obsession they had with each other. Nice read .

A Must Read!
If this series was a TV show it would be action pack, drama filled, and just juicy! This installment was entertaining, hilarious but had a seriousness to the plot (witness protection)! I loved how everything came together and vengeance was served!
