If you’re at all a fan of romantic suspense, you’ll want to get this one immediately. This gifted storyteller’s work should be on the shelf of every romance reader, because it’s that good.
We're back in Montana with Redmark Security and Protection. Chase Samson is opening a satellite office when the wife of a known gang leader comes to the office asking for help to find her son.
This leads Chase to Honor Deveraux, a tough woman with a vendetta on the run. At nine months pregnant with the crime lord's son as her stowaway, Honor will need help from the man she's targeted for revenge. And for Chase, it quickly becomes personal as well as complicated.
Just when I think I’ve read the best from this talented wordsmith, she outdoes herself with this intense, riveting, irresistible story. Suspenseful, angsty, and full of emotion, I guarantee this will be one of your best romantic reads this year!

In Her Remarkable Protector, author Alessa Kelly’s latest novel, female protagonist Honor Deveraux has a deeply troubled past. Her involvement with Damon Stone, head of the notoriously ruthless Stoneborn Circle, only makes matters worse. When Honor becomes pregnant and escapes in an effort to give her child a better life, Damon predictably sends members of Stoneborn after her. But someone else from her past reaches her first — someone who, try as she might, she cannot hate or even dislike.
This was a fast-paced story with thorough character development, witty banter, and lots of spice. Male protagonist Chase Samson — a “golden retriever” with a dark past of his own — was irresistibly likable. I really enjoyed the element of tension between the characters as Chase tried to place Honor while she knew who he was the entire time. This was only my second Alessa Kelly book, but based on my experience so far, I’ll certainly be reading more.

Wow, what an emotional rollercoaster of a ride that Alessa Kelly takes us on in this book. The suspense throughout keeps us on our toes with many twists and turns, as we watch Honor and Chase deal with not only their past actions and history but the intense chemistry that is between them. With danger round every corner, it will take all their strength and courage to deal with everything that is thrown at them, and more. This book is one that you won't be able to put down.

This book is one that is impossible to put down or forget. Honor and Chase, the two main characters, have an intertwined and twisty history that has her seeking revenge while he is set on redemption. Being heavily pregnant doesn’t stop Honor from leaving the dangerous criminal organization she infiltrated in her search for information about the person she holds responsible for the murder of her father. Honor has the information she needs, and now she must protect herself and her baby until she is ready to complete her mission of revenge. She didn’t expect the teenage son of the leader, who is also the father of her baby, to follow her and seek refuge with her. Her conscience won’t let her abandon him, but he’s just one more thing to worry about as she tries to elude his father and his minions.
After leaving his criminal past behind, Chase became a Navy Seal. He now puts his the skills he learned in the military to good use at Red Mark Security and Protection. He is investigating the case of a missing boy who his mother believes was taken by her husband’s mistress, Honor. OMG I loved this story. I think my favorite character was Chase but is so closely followed by Honor. In the beginning how he saved the young girl from being killed felt so good. When Chase was hired to find Honor and Oakley was such a coincidence. Then all the years when Honor tried to find the man who killed her father only to have it be the man who was protecting her. Chase immediately had feelings for Honor and was not letting her out of his site to keep her safe from the gang. When Honor ran away from Chase and took Oakley and Laramie with her had Chase so worried for her safety. When Damion got released from jail Chase knew he had to find Honor and protect her but then when he was captured and tortured to try to get him to tell where Honor was he just refused to give her up. Of course Honor coming in to help him was so good and then Ethan came in to save the day. I loved the happily ever after of this story. This story was so well written and had suspense throughout the entire story. This was by far one of the best stories I have ever read. I would recommend this book to everyone to read. I received a free copy of this book but I am leaving this glowing review of my own free will.

Pregnant with this gang man’s child, she is ready to kill the man responsible for the murder of her parents. Not realizing that on her escape, the young son of the gang leader had stowed away and was now with her.
When things get even more complicated who comes to help her but , Chase, Honor’s target.
Chase , a SEAL and now a rescuer of children , has a past he’s tried to overcome and right the wrong. Whom he never expected to meet was the one person who wants him dead.
But fate has an agenda neither counted on.
Be ready for this edge of your seats addition to the series. One filled with strong characters, righting a wrong, overcoming the past, and finding love when neither expected or wanted it.

What a Read!
This book was heart pulsing from the start.
Honors story was heartbreaking. A Woman out for revenge over the death of her parents when she was very young. She had to do something that turned her stomach but was necessary in order to execute her revenge plan.
Falling pregnant to a Man she despised with all her heart but was a necessary part of her plan for revenge. She loved her unborn baby despite the circumstances surrounding her pregnancy.
But as these things go, everything was not as it seemed all those years ago.
Chase comes into her life as Her Remarkable Protector, a job she fights him on every step of the way until she no longer can and accepts that he really isn't what she always thought that he was. His mission in life to redeem his wrong doings when he was younger is to protect her, Oakley and do everything that is necessary to make sure they are safe.
A lot happens along the way. I won't say anymore as I do not want to Spoil any of the story for you but it was a fantastic book to read and you are going to love it!

Intense action from the first page. Family tragedy and loss surround the first meeting between Chase and Honor. He goes on to turn his life around for the better, while she continually suffers over the years. She vows to get her revenge against Chase by ultimately taking his life. Unfortunately, she does so by getting involved with the wrong people. This leads her to seek help from the RedMark Rescue and Protect agency, where Chase now works. As she gets to know Chase as he is now, she begins to wonder if she could have been wrong. As the evil she tried to escape catches up to them, will it cost Chase his life as he tries to protect her? Outstanding addition to this series!

This is the story of Honor and Chase. I like the choice of names, as a reflection of the characters and the action of this book. Honor is after Chase for revenge, but he proves to be an honorable warrior/protector.
This is a pulse-pounding suspenseful romance where danger, desire, and redemption collide
The only critique I have is that Honor has just given birth to a baby girl via C-section, yet many of her daily activities suggest the author did not research the physical impact of a C-section, the typical medical restrictions, or considerations such as breastfeeding and the mother's consumption of alcohol.
Otherwise, a well written book, which I enjoyed as an ARC. This review is entirely a voluntary one.

A roller-coaster ride is the best way to describe this book.
The first page draws you in. A family murdered and a child hidden by one of the intruders.
Fast forward. Honor is running from Damon. She's pregnant and she has her Damon's son with her when she runs away.
Chase is a member of RecMark Rescue who has been hired to find the the son.
The chemistry between Chase and Honod is there. Chase knows Damon's and what ge is capable of, he will protect Honor, her baby Laramie and Oakley.
There is a lot of baggage that needs to be unloaded in this story. Chase and Honor's past. Misunderstanding of what actually happened the day her parents died.
This one will keep you reading until you find out the truth.

Wow! This was excellent! Honor and Chase so full of friction and their own agenda but needing to work together to make it through.

These two have a history that is built on misconceptions so when they saw each other again, old tensions rise up. Their relationship changes over time when things turn bad.
So well done. It was great to experience this as the action happens. Honor is fiesty and Chase is feeling guilty and driven. It was a hard book to leave alone. But oh so good!!

I love romantic suspense books. The tension, the plot, the drama always pulls me in.this book also added one of my favorite tropes, touch her at your own peril.
Honor lived through a terrible event that changed her life forever. She clearly remembers the eyes of the man who helped her, but who also did something to make her despise him forever. Now she wants revenge.
Chase was involved in bad things in his youth, but now works as a specialist in recovering lost children. When new case comes across his desk, he has no idea how this will change his life!
I love protector romances so much and just gobbled this up!

When your past comes back to haunt you with a bang, all you can do is your best to atone.
Loved Honor, she had the heart to forgive, and the even bigger heart to fight for herself, justice and those she loves. Chase was a darling and so contrite, and the perfect complement to Honor.
If you like stories with a dramatic back story, then you should love this read. It has so much to engage you, keep you rooting for the good guys, and cheering when the villains get taken out.

Alessa Kelly truly outdoes herself this time, delivering a story that is a non stop rollercoaster from start to finish. Packed with heart-pounding action, high-stakes danger, and a sizzling romance, this book is impossible to put down. The chemistry between the strong, well-drawn protagonists crackles on the page as they confront the shadows of their past and discover love in the most unexpected of moments. A compelling read that blends intensity and emotion in all the right ways.

Alessa has you gyrating while you try to decide if you feel sorry for, angry at or astounded by Honor. There is so much emotions to unpack. Chase a remarkable man awes you in his dedication & wrenches you in his pain & guilt. Rip roaring action, danger & tantalising romance will glue you to the pages in anticipation.

I was given a free advance copy of this book and I promise this is a fair and accurate review of it. I loved this book. As soon as I started reading it I could not put it down. The characters were great and the plot was engaging. A real page turner. I can’t wait for the next book in the series.

I love a good romantic suspense! This book did not disappoint….I thought the storyline had a super interesting plot with the right amount of romance sprinkled in. I think this book is my favorite in the series so far. While I am enjoying the entire series it is also nice that readers don’t need to have read other books to fully enjoy each as a standalone.

Full of non-stop action this book is a must read for fans of romantic suspense. Honor and Chase work together, though with much mistrust at first, to get the true bad guys in the story, amidst danger and misunderstandings. A great read! I am loving this series.

Add interesting characters, a satisfying plot, great dialogue and steam, and you'll be hard-pressed to put this down!
I have visited Montana, so it's so much fun to have a real feel for the venue!

And just like that Chase and Honor have become my favorite Red Mark couple.

Alessa hit the mark once again with this romantically suspenseful gem. Honor is a strong character fueled by a traumatic past leaving you to question her choices but admiring her backbone and commitment when she picks a course. Honor and Chases’s story began years ago when their worlds intersected and their reunion is filled with chemistry, hurt, romance, spice and fast-paced action on the way to a happy conclusion of this installment in the Red Mark series.
