A gorgeous and important book. A milestone in the conservation (Green) movement in Australia, which is suffering some setbacks today with a repressive and regressive regime and climate crisis, too. I actually took a seaplane ride down the Gordon River with Bob Brown in the 1990s and it was a fantastic experience being down in those canyons looking for Tasmanian Tigers, thylacines, in the company of such an important politician and conservationist.

A beautiful book! Wild Rivers is filled with stunning photographs which are accompanied by Bob Brown’s delightful words. It is an important reminder of the importance of conservation and preserving our wonderful natural places.
