"I’m addicted to this author’s hockey romances so I couldn’t have been more excited to read this, the first in the new Wynn Hockey series. Hunky hockey players and complicated family made for a great start!"

Nerdy Dirty and Flirty
Meet the Wynns—a hockey dynasty built on family, money, and drama. From USA Today bestselling author Kelly Jamieson, the first novel in a new series is a total win-win.

Théo Wynn
After an injury forced me to give up professional hockey, I turned to my second numbers. Now, as the general manager of my grandfather’s NHL team, the Los Angeles Condors, I'm determined to prove to the rest of my family—especially the brother who betrayed me—that I'm just as successful as the rest of them. If only I had a gorgeous woman on my arm to complete the picture. . . .

Lacey Olson
I need to get out of Las Vegas right now, thanks to my no-good, crooked brother. When a handsome stranger who’s out partying with friends comes to my rescue in the cocktail lounge where I work, we strike up a conversation that leads to a crazy me leaving with Théo for L.A. tomorrow. A few drinks later, the idea gets even a quickie marriage that works for both of us.

Théo
But back in California, Lacey immediately turns my precise, well-ordered life into one big beach party. And before long, she’s tempting me with her smart mouth, sexy body, and sunny charm. The last thing I need is a real relationship to distract me. Because I only play to win. . . .

okay read

Slow burner but was the challenge of getting into a new series where characters emerge that I felt the reader was supposed to recognise. Liked the journey of Lacey and Theo who were really great characters especially Lacey. Lots of family drama and gramps obviously has issues not yet picked up on by family. That said okay first story and looking forward to second.

Awesome Characters

I loved pretty much everything about this book . Well written, funny, romantic with great characters to spread out the dialogue. I just felt the ending was a bit abrupt and I really didn't appreciate having to sign up for the mailing list to get the epilogue. I already get too many emails and choose not to sign up.

This book had it all: hockey, romance, Vegas drunken wedding, and most importantly a great HEA ending! I loved it and plan to read more in the series as well as other books by this author!

I honestly love my hockey reads of books but unfortunately had to DNF this book. It felt more like insta love and romance. Unfortunately that’s not a type of book I like to read.

easy read

This was an easy book to read. Quite sweet, but not completely believable. I thought the situation with the brother was a bit off but I’m sure it happens

Entertaining

Totally enjoyed this book. I found it to be light hearted and fun to read. A Romance that wasn't overshadowed by sex.
