"Intuition is a fascinating, fast-paced novel that pulls you in and makes you read until the end, waiting to see what happens next." - Rabia Tanveer, Readers' Favorite Reviewer
"I was hooked from the first page and it kept me riveted until the very end where we are reminded that trust is a blade that cuts both ways." - Natasha Carter, author of Hidden Obsession
Somehow, she knows things she shouldn't-and it's terrifying.
On her way back to Vermont for her cousin's funeral, Sarah Rigby's plans to be with her family are stymied when a psychic stranger warns her that her flight is destined to crash. Undeterred, Sarah proceeds to get on the flight, but once there, she soon realizes that everything the supposed psychic said was This plane is going down, and she won't go down with it.
After fighting to get off the plane and watching in horror from the airport as it crashes to the tarmac, Sarah searches the crowd of panicked travelers to find the clairvoyant who saved her life. The woman whisks Sarah away and takes her to a nearby diner, where she introduces herself as Raven Lockhart-a self-professed psychic who has been plagued with visions about Sarah's welfare for weeks. Raven reveals that the plane crash was the least of Sarah's worries. Someone is after her, and only Raven knows how to protect her from what's to come. But are the deadly premonitions the act of a psychic savior or a guise for something far more sinister?
The only way for Sarah to find out is to place her trust in Raven-completely.

INTUITION by K.T. Carlisle is a total thrill ride of a read! This fast-paced novel hooked me from the first page. I turned pages and even stayed up (too) late to see what happens next. It’s just that exciting.
Sarah is a young magazine writer returning home to Vermont for a loved one’s funeral. But before she can get on the plane, a strange woman tells her, “Your life is in danger if you get on that flight.” And sure enough, the plane explodes on the tarmac!
Realizing that the stranger, a purported psychic named Raven, was right, Sarah goes on the run. Someone is after her—and is willing to go to unspeakable lengths to track her down. Raven becomes her guide on this desperate escape. Danger is around every corner, and Sarah doesn’t even know half of the story.
I don’t claim to be an expert on thrillers, but I think they need three elements to work: 1. A likable protagonist. 2. High stakes that are clearly defined. And 3. A fast pace. In a thriller, you don’t want to wait around for the action!
INTUITION delivers on all three. I found myself rooting for Sarah quickly, as she uses all her wits and courage to survive. She needs every bit of those traits, as the danger just keeps ramping up.
So if that sounds like your cup of tea, add this book to your Kindle or bookshelf. But don’t expect it to stay unread once you get started!
The more and more I read indie, the more and more I love indie!! The book I'm about to talk about will make you quiver. It will send chills down your spine and make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. So many books out there that are...scary, will make you think or have you closing it, and you have to watch a funny show real fast before you hit the bed. When one gives you chills and goosebumps, that's a different kind of scared.
Plot: Intuition tells the story of a young woman (Sarah) who is on her way home to Vermont to attend her cousins funeral. This was a huge surprise because how she died was a shock to all. Overdose. Sarah was taken back on this news because she had no idea her cousin was having issues in that matter. Sarah and her cousin are more than just family. They are best friends. They grew up together and did just about everything with one another. As she's making her way through the airport and towards the departure gate, a stranger grabs her and gives her warnings that if she boards this flight, you will die. Of course, this stranger (Raven) gives her reasons as to why she should not board her flight. At first, she thinks nothing of it (I mean, would you think anything of it if some random person tells you that your flight will explode etc etc. You would just think they are talking crazy) and gets on the plane. As she is moving about to her seat, she starts to notice things that Raven tells her about her flight. Very quickly, she gets off and... That's as far s I go. The book comes out October 31st. Pre-order to find out what happens.
Characters: You have two main characters. Sarah and Raven. It focuses on Sarah more, but Raven is just as important, so I feel as though she could be considered a main character as well. Sarah is...hurt. She has a barrier, but it is not a strong one. She's been through hell with her past relationship, and for her to allow someone to make their way in that trust circle is extremely difficult. But she sees something in Raven, not at first, but she lets her in. I wouldn't say she's naive, but she tries to see the good in people. So, for me to talk about Raven would be somewhat of a spoiler. So I'll say one thing about her. She's persistent.
Writing: There are so many things I love about the authors writing. I always say that if someone's writing hooks you with the first sentence, the first paragraph, you know you're in for a treat. There is absolutely no time wasted getting into the nitty gritty of the story. At first, I was taken back because I thought, "Ok, so the story starts off with a bang with no character build, and things are already heated." I was dead wrong. You learn a lot about the characters as the chaos is unfolding. (Both of them) So to set of explosions early while developing the characters at the same time, truly remarkable. There's a smooth rhythm and an artful way of writing in this. I found myself turning the pages quicker than a 1997 Acura NSX T going from 0-60 in 4 .7 seconds.
Overall: This book took me by surprise. It kept me engaged until the very end. Being a slow reader, when I finish a book in just over a week, you know it's a good book. If you're looking for a thriller that'll give you the edge of your seat vibes, this is the one that'll do it. I honestly have nothing negative to say about this. And for anyone who knows me, I don't lie about my reviews. If I like it, I will say it. If not, I will give you reasons why. SO, Intuition by K. T. Carlisle I... I HIGHLY recommend it!!! Remember, October 31st is the release date. Trust me, you want to read this.
The magic of a Carlisle book is that you never once look at how much of the book is left to read—you're turning the pages too quickly to notice. If you want an author who knows how to write characters you immediately connect to, pick up a K.T. Carlisle book today!
Sarah Rigby's life goes from the mundane task of taking a flight home for her cousin's funeral to fleeing a plane crash and putting her trust in the woman who predicted the plane's demise. And that's not all, the woman, Raven, claims there are people after Sarah, and her only choice to stay alive is to do what Raven says.
With a burgeoning romance between the two, the high stakes of fleeing invisible forces, and Raven's increasingly accurate psychic reads on Sarah's life, Sarah is left with little choice but to follow Raven to the ends of the earth. As she spends more time with Raven, the real dangers of her predicament start to show themselves, and Sarah finds out escaping death once doesn't guarantee you can do it again.
A fantastic mix of revisiting Sarah's past to give us context to her current life alongside the action and heart-racing suspense of the present. It's a little bit "Final Destination", a little bit "Misery", and packs a fantastic twist at the very end that puts all the pieces into place.
I was really excited about the chance to read another K.T. Carisle book when I found out about Intuition. I went in pretty clueless because I'm a huge fan of her work, and since devouring her "What Happened to Mia Davis?" series in one weekend, I'm down to read anything with her name on it. I loved the Final Destination vibes at the very beginning. Besides the fact that the story on its own is absolutely intriguing, I found it brilliant because there's an entire generation still traumatized from that franchise. K.T. Carlisle once again masterfully uses an unreliable character to weave her story. In Intuition, you get action, a mystery, and an inclusive romance. I was shocked when Sarah found out who was after her. The revelation scene had just the right amount of creepiness, and the ending was so satisfying. I flew through this book because I loved the characters, and every time I got to a point where I thought it would be safe to take a break, something would happen that made it impossible to put down. Intuition will definitely be at the top of my list of recommendations for all my thriller reader friends, and I can't wait to read whatever this author writes next.

From the opening pages to the final revelation, this novel is a truly thrilling read that grips you with unwavering intensity. K.T. Carlisle's prose is both beautiful and immersive, creating an experience that can only be described as utterly delicious. As someone who prides themselves on following story setups and anticipating plot developments, I found myself completely captivated by the intricate twists and turns. Just when I thought I had figured out where the narrative was heading, Carlisle would introduce another masterful misdirection that left me genuinely surprised and eager to continue. Carlisle has proven to be a one-of-a-kind storyteller with this work. The character development, atmospheric tension, and perfectly paced revelations demonstrate why they've earned a permanent place on my must-read list. I will eagerly devour anything this author publishes going forward, regardless of genre. If you're looking for a book that combines literary craftsmanship with edge-of-your-seat suspense, this is an absolute must-read that will stay with you long after you've turned the final page.
On her way to a cousin’s funeral, Sarah’s life is saved by a psychic. After that, things start to get worse.
This story hooked me from page one. This psychological thriller kept me guessing from the start. I would love to go through all the “Aha” moments that I thought were right only to find out I was wrong but that would spoil the story for the rest of you. Sarah is a very relatable character, finding her inner strength in spite of all that is happening to her. There is a lot I want to gush about for this book but I really hate people that spoil books for others. I will definitely be reading this book multiple times in the future.
My favourite part of the book? What the author does with the royalties from this book.
On the way to her cousins funeral, Sarah finds herself believing the impossible!
KT has once again shown to be a master of the back story! Her characters are so real and rooted with a well thought out history.
The story is immensely compelling with its twists and gut punch moments. When I thought I had a full understanding of the situation, KT managed to add another layer seamlessly.
The emotional backbone of the story grabbed ahold of me and shifted so effortlessly.
Intuition is one hell of a ride. K.T. Carlisle knows how to craft a fast moving story with twists and turns enough to keep things interesting.
I can't really say much without spoiling anything, but her breezy style is easy to read and switches from low-key and introspective to fast-paced and dangerous without any trouble.
The mystery is well-crafted, the characters are likeable, the danger is palpable, and overall it's a great book that had me so riveted that the last 50 pages felt like 10.
If you like thrillers you can't go wrong with this one.
This is a story filled to the brim with chilling anticipation. It has your heart racing and gives you chills from the beginning to the very end. A thriller where thrilling just doesn’t say enough about it. It’s immediately fast-paced with characters that are intriguing in a situation that is unbelievable. The past blends well with how they are important to the present-day timeline and everything falls together in the end seamlessly. I don’t know how Carlisle does it, but her writing is absolutely enthralling.
This was a very fun, intense thriller. Sarah is a great protagonist and is very strongly written. The last 100 pages are excellent and really drive up the tension and suspense. There's a fine level of suspension of disbelief to get over but once you have it it's great. I feel like the romantic part moved very quickly and should have been spaced out a bit more, and there could have been more plot beats in the beginning. Some amazing twists as well, you will Not be ready :)
I love KT Carlisle's writing. Her stories fly by, they're easy to read and the characters are always interesting. This is another really good thriller. It had Final Destination vibes at the start until she started loading on the twists!
Passionate & spooky, Intuition kept me on edge. The author scared the hell out of me! Masterfully written! - M.F. Elliott author of TO LIVE AND TO DIE FOR
First time reading K T Carlisle and loved it! I was immediately drawn into the story and, although I guessed the twist, it was enjoyable through out. Definitely plan to read more of her books. :)
