Anna's first day of kindergarten on the Navajo Reservation has her worried because she's different -- but a set of "magic" blocks and a new friend prove her wrong.
This book was very cute! I definitely enjoyed reading it. I thought that the illustrations went along perfect with the actual story. The pictures were colorful and very realistic, which was my favorite part. This book definitely has a great message behind it, which I think children will pick up and relate to. I would definitely read this book to my future classroom and maybe have a writing activity about friendship after. Great read!
