Coming from a public health background, this book was very informative and gives a realistic approach on how to approach youth substance use prevention. There is an emphasis on successful youth substance use prevention being a collaborative effort from multi levels-parents, schools, police, politicians, etc.
I think this book would be an excellent read for someone just getting into this kind of work, or for parents who are struggling on how to approach talking to their kids about substance use.
