Rosewood Beach #6

Where Sea Meets Sky

Rate this book
An uplifting family saga about siblings, new beginnings, and lasting bonds.

Faith Talbot has spent years chasing success in a high-powered legal career that leaves little room for anything—or anyone—else.

But when a health scare forces her to slow down and take stock of things, she realizes just how empty her life has become. Determined to find true connection, she leaves the relentless pace of the city behind and pays a visit to her distant relatives, the Owens family, in the cozy coastal town of Rosewood Beach.

What was supposed to be a short trip turns into something more lasting as Faith gets to know her extended family and the Owens siblings embrace her as one of their own. Her attachment to the small town only grows when she meets Ryan McCormick—a handsome and down-to-earth man who's as weary of his demanding career as she is. They forge an immediate bond, reminding each other to relax and take life at a slower pace.

But although Ryan’s smile gives her butterflies, their burgeoning relationship hits a speed bump when Faith’s new family realizes she’s falling for a McCormick. Will the connection between them be enough to overcome the years-long rivalry between their families?

Meanwhile, Alexis is in full nesting mode, making sure every inch of her home is baby-ready, while Julia is nervously preparing to meet Cooper’s parents before their wedding. And despite Vivian’s insistence that she and Terrence are just friends, her children aren’t entirely convinced.

Take a trip to Rosewood Beach, where the water is warm, the sand is soft, and the Owens family is waiting to welcome you into their lives! This sweet and uplifting women’s fiction series is the perfect bookish escape.

SPLENDID!!!

*ALC Review*

Fiona, you truly outdid yourself with this spectacular book. Every single book I have read and listen to of your books has made my heart so so happy. This book series is hands-down one of my favorite book series I have read and listened to since last year.

I just want to applaud both of you Fiona and Amy. Both of you have impressed the heck out of me and I’m determined to get my hands on every single book you have written and narrated. In this spectacular book, we learn about the Owen’s cousin Faith who gets completely burned out at her law firm and decides to move to Rosewood to reconnect with her family. She meets Ryan, who is so sweet to her. I absolutely love the relationship.

I’m absolutely loving this book so so much. To be honest, I’ve loved this entire series so far. This is officially the sixth ALC I have received from Blue Nose in the Rosewood Beach series. I just want to say to all of you beautiful people that if you absolutely love a wholesome feel good book about a spectacular family, then this book is for you. Seriously people you really need to get this series.

Where Sea Meets Sky
Rosewood Beach #6
By Fiona Baker
Narrated by Amy McFadden

Hanging out in the restaurant has become my favorite pastime! The Owens welcome their cousin Faith into Rosewood Beach as she begins a new life path. A high powered lawyer with a health scare that needs to slow her life down and reduce stress, so this respite seems the best idea. She didn't expect to meet Ryan. Both in the same boat, they quickly bond, but the Owens are not quite as happy as they are. After all, Ryan is a McCormick, the family that caused a lot of grief for the restaurant and their rivalry is hard to overlook. Will they find out they are meant to be or will Faith be on her way? And I can't forget Alexis as she is getting ready to give birth, nesting all the time, the budding relationship between Vivian and Terrance which is adorable and what will happen when Cooper's family comes to town early! So much is happening in this small town, keeping my heart invested, happy and light. It's the perfect weekend listen.

Amy McFadden continues her amazing voices with her narration. She makes it so easy to fall back into town and meet new characters. She keeps all the people consistent so I know exactly who is speaking and it's like coming home. Enjoyed this installment and look forward to more.

This is the sixth book in the Rosewood Beach series, a family saga I absolutely love, and it’s another outstanding addition. Faith and Ryan’s story is beautifully written and engaging, with interesting and endearing characters. The plot is filled with family drama, rivalry, and strong family ties, and it was wonderful to reconnect with familiar faces from earlier books. Amy McFadden delivered an excellent narration that brought the entire cast and story to life. I really enjoyed this one and am looking forward to A New Chapter in Rosewood Beach. #BlueNoseAudio

Faith and Ryan might just be my new fav couple from the Rosewood Beach series.

After every book, I’m reminded on how much I love the prior characters from previous books. Rosewood Beach just feels cozy to me.

Here, we have Faith who is a lawyer based out of Boston. Due to her health, she was forced to slow down in order to reduce stress levels. She moved to Rosewood Beach and met Ryan shortly afterward. She was completely captivated by him but later finds out that their families have an ongoing feud.

The romance between these two were so undeniably good. It was so warm and inviting and the family dynamic paired with a little bit of hometown drama had me completely invested from start to finish.

Thank you to BNA for an ALC of this title. All opinions are my own.

Faith Talbot, a cousin of the Owens family, moves to Rosewood Beach after experiencing a troubling panic attack at her job as a Boston lawyer. She is hoping to find family here but also meets Ryan McCormick, a sweet and handsome man. The 'feud" between the Owens and McCormick families might impact her new romance. Fiona Baker catches us up on the rest of the family. I love this small-town romance and also like the themes in each of her books. This is a great read.

I always love getting to listen to the updates on the Owen’s lives, but I really enjoyed the introduction of Faith and Ryan. It gives the series an extra element of excitement about two new characters. I also loved that Ryan is a McCormick and that regardless of how the Owens’ felt, they were willing to get to know him regardless of the feud between the two families.

As always, Amy McFadden does amazing in continuing to narrate this series. She is quite incredible and talented!

Fairly good story

Engaging story, albeit slow in spots. Vocabulary needs expansion, some words overused. Would be better if characters had more development.

This book was a change of pace from the story line in this series with the introduction of two new characters, Faith and Ryan. The interaction of Faith with the Owen family is interesting from stranger to accepted member of the family. It will be interesting to see how Faith & Ryan are utilized thru the rest of the series. This is a wonderful series which is worth your time to read from start to finish.
