Red Moon #4

Alpha Moon

Rate this book
Although human, Dani has lived her entire life among the Lycans. She knows first-hand their possessiveness toward their mates and she’s determined to avoid being claimed by one. It’s one of the reasons she’s in love with the human, Kaden.

When Andric, a Lycan without a pack, saves her life she’s confused by her feelings. He’s possessive, demanding and naughty – everything she swore she’d stay away from. So why does his touch spark desire in her belly? Why does she forget about her love for Kaden when she is in his arms?

Author’s note: This is a novella of 25,000 words and is a part of the Red Moon Second Generation Series. It tells the story of Dani and Andric but you do NOT need to read this story before reading Pale Moon. Think of it as a little extra for those who love the Red Moon world as much as I do. However, Alpha Moon should not be read before reading Red Moon, Red Moon Rising and Dark Moon as it contains spoilers.

Please note: This book contains explicit and steamy sex scenes that may not be your cup of tea. It is intended for mature readers only.

Delicious Reads: Literary Love: Famous Fictional Couples We Adore

A novella telling the story of -
Dani (20). Maya and Marshall’s daughter, twin to Doran. She and her family are staying at Tristan and Avery’s homestead, while Tristan and others rescue Kaden and Sophia.

Andric (age?). Two months ago, leeches attacked Andric's pack, including his family. After a fight with his father, he went to drink and fool around in town. When he returned home, he found most dead and a few missing. He lost his mind for weeks, roaming in his wolf form.

Andric and Dani met in town after Draken killed Ian, and he captured Sophia & Kaden. Andric takes Dani home and fights a Gogmagog on the way.

☹️ There's little depth or descriptions.
Andric isn't described at all. In book 3, he's said to be a little taller than Dani, with light brown hair and hazel eyes.

Lust leads to love. The MCs only converse a bit, but they make out a lot. They're prevented from having sex until near the end.

Andric thinks he's quite kinky: "I have certain tastes that I fear you are too sweet for. I like the women who warm my bed to do things that you, unfortunately, will most likely not enjoy."

🙄 His only kink is spanking, which Dani really enjoys.

The Sex Scenes. The beginning ones were hot 🥵, while the ones later were not. 🤢
▪️Wetness gushed between her legs, unstoppable and uncontrollable...
▪️She stiffened against him before making a small bird-like cry of pleasure and burying her face into his thick neck.
▪️His fingers were dripping with moisture.

Dani is my least favorite h in the series.
A stereotypical blonde, she acts immature and ditzy.
She thinks about Andric: It was foolish of her to look for him. ...she knew she would never have the guts to keep throwing herself at him.
Yet right after, she threw herself at him again. 🙄 She did the same thing with Kaden in book 3 and was rejected. Apparently, she didn't learn anything. I hate it when heroines do this. 😬

After some push and pull and a serious accident where Dani nearly dies, the MCs become a solid couple. Andric, thinking he'd lost Dani like his pack and family, runs through the woods for hours before returning home, planning to leave in his grief. Instead, he finds her in his bedroom, and in their happiness at being reunited, Dani loses her virginity. Andric now has a mate, a family, and a pack.

It ends with Tristan and group returning back home.

Good story

What happened to Tristan?????? He was shot with an arrow a5 the end of the last book and I. Honestly thought it wld have been mentioned in the book but it wasn't. I am really disappointed 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭.

The story is really good, it tells the story of dani and andric, I thought there wld have been a bit about how they get revenge for his pack but it didn't. It literally is just about those 2

My only issue with this is I wish this was tad bit longer. I did like that we got see more of Dani, Doran, and their family. Other than that, if you dig paranormal romances that are a quick read then check this series out.

I really love this whole series.
in this book Dani struggles with her growing attraction to Andric who saved her from an evil pack of lycans. She really thinks she loves a fellow human Kaden even though she knows he loves her cousin Sophia.
The attraction is mutual for Andric even though Andric also tries to deny its more than a quick fling.
Dani responds instantly to Andric's special 'punishment' after he catches her snooping in his things.
They admit their feeling after a near death experience.
This would have got 5* if it had been longer

Book 4 of this series... The only thing that stopped me giving this book 5* is the fact the cliff hanger from book 3 never once got mentioned in this book, so its still looking in my mind... What has happened to Tristan?

Anyway, I get why this book went back to reveal the build of Dani and Andric's love for one another. I enjoys their individual story, and I was glad Dani stopped having a crush on Kaden. I'll download book 5 and finish this series. I think I will miss these characters, because they are very addictive

This story about Dani and Andric will help you remember that even sweet people have kinks. I loved that we got to know Danielle better in this little story. She seemed kind of one dimensional in the last book, Dark Moon. The girl does have backbone and personality, and it was nice that she finally got her man! This was a fun, fast read and will help complete some of the characters that were left uncouloured in Dark Moon. Definitely buy this novella!

Hmm

Hmm, I'm not sure how I feel about Dani... Or Andric... It was s good story, I suppose. Unfortunately throughout the entire book I was waiting for the storyline to catch up to the ending of Dark Moon and found myself too anxious. I think it may have been better to put that last scene in this book, I think I would have enjoyed it a bit more.

Loved the little short story aspect of it. It was almost like a loose ends book but it was a welcome one. The relationship between these two characters was fast and not as slow passed as the others but it was a good quick read.
