We're back with season 4 of heated! And this time there's a male omega. I absolutely love Remy and his story was incredible. The mental health representation was done so well and it really showcased life with anxiety and how it can be hard to navigate through sometimes, but the way he handles it and overcomes obstacles was handled so well. I loved seeing some familiar faces this season and the newbies as well! His pack is absolutely perfect and the date ideas this season seemed like so much fun! I really hope to see a few of the characters that didn't get chosen get their own stories sometime in the future and I love getting a sneak peek at what season 5 will be bringing us. As always this book sucked me in until I finished it within 24 hours. It's perfect for fans of omegaverse and reality TV. The spice was hot and steamy, but not quite as intense as previous books in this series, which I loved. There seemed to be incredible character growth and development between Remy and the suitors and I just ate it up.
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Miranda, you flawless QUEEN, you've done it AGAIN!
I don't know what kind of magic potion Miranda is chugging while writing this series, but someone bottle it and sell it to the rest of us mere mortals—because whew, this book DELIVERS.
As Heated’s first male omega? BABY, we are breaking barriers and turning heads! This nerdy, low-key, "I'd rather blend into the wall than flirt for the cameras" sweetheart just stole my whole heart—and then some. And let me tell you, watching him navigate twenty swoon-worthy suitors while being adorably awkward and refreshingly real?? Chef's kiss.
I was laughing, crying, kicking my feet, and yelling “PICK HIM!!!” like I was a contestant on the show myself. Every page had me grinning like an unhinged fangirl (because I am one, thanks to Miranda), and the emotional beats? So tender, so authentic, I wanted to wrap this omega in a big ol’ pack cuddle and never let him go.
The Heated series is romance gold, and Miranda? She can do no wrong. NONE. Not a typo, not a single misplaced comma, not a flat note in sight. If you’re not reading this series, you’re seriously robbing yourself of top-tier omegaverse goodness wrapped in heartfelt storytelling and swoony pack dynamics.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ll just be re-reading this on a loop until the next installment drops. Because this omega deserves the world—and Miranda’s gonna give it to him. 🙌
Another great read from May, and I'm definitely falling in love with the Heated series - both the books, and the fictional reality TV show May has created. I am still so in love with this Bachelor-style concept, helping omega's find their ideal pack.
I loved Remy. His awkwardness, his passion for his job, his nerdy side - seriously, this character is me in a male omega's body, especially when you throw in his anxiety - and the anxiety he experienced was so well shown/handled (though of course, not everyone experiences anxiety the way it was portrayed for Remy).
There are so many kick-your-feet-and-giggle moments, but also some beautifully emotional ones, too. There was so much romance, spice that was off the charts (when it hit), and honestly some dates that I would love to be taken on - Remy certainly left me guessing for most of the book about who he would actually choose! At one point, I swore his pack was going to be much much larger than it ended up. The drama, when it appeared, was wonderfully dramatic in that Bachelor-style way, but also served a great purpose for the story, and it kept you wanting to turn the pages.
This book (and series) is definitely one of those bingeable reads that you can't help but want more of; it's another great book from May, and I look forward to the next in the series, after getting the teaser in the epilogue!
Thank you to the author and Dragonfire Teams for the eARC opportunity. These are my honest thoughts that I have provided voluntarily.
In this book, we meet Remington. Heated's first male omega contestant. While there have been male Omegas in the past, they've been suitors. Remington, aka Remy, brings his own set of challenges because he has an anxiety issue. So watching him grow (i say watching because despite me reading it, if felt just like a TV show) and finding his pack with as much as he has anxiety attacks was heartwarming. He wanted it, so he went after that. Even though he panicked, he pushed through and found what he was looking for.
As with the previous books, I had my favorite suitors picked out, and while a few were chosen, there were a few that surprised me. And not always in a good way. Let's just say the plot twists are just as good as the TV shows. There hasn't been a book yet where there wasn't some sort of drama that happens. Which i think is needed to help the plot along.
Milo would have to be my favorite suitor. I absolutely loved him and what he brought to the pack. I was happy to see a couple of returns from previous books. Riley and Carter being 2 of them. I had hoped we'd see them back, and we did.
This series is so unique and well written. The plot is amazing, the spice is HEATED, and the connection between the packs gives heavy found family vibes. I'm not ready to leave this universe yet. The book hangover is real with this one.
Knot His Reality is the fourth book in the Heated series written by Miranda May.
💜 omegaverse 💜 bachelor style reality show 💜 forced proximity 💜 new experiences 💜 🌶🌶🌶🌶 spicy spice
Remington needs to do this. He is always working hard on his research and doesn’t take the time needed away to date. As an omega, it important for him to find his pack and what better way to do that than to go on Heated. He’s always loved the show. It’s a dream come true to be able to be an omega on the same show he has obsessed over. Will he find his pack? Will it be a smaller pack or a larger one? Will his time on the show go smoothly?
This was a fun addition to this series. I like how each book is about a different omega’s experience on the show. But, you shouldn’t read the books out of order as past characters do come into and are a part of the other books. It would lead to potential spoilers if you read them out of order. I liked how the omega in this story was a male omega because it gave a different perspective of what he experiences. I really enjoyed this book and I can’t wait for the next one to come out.
So much to say and not enough space😭. I think this might be the only book in the series that I actually cried over.
I ABSOLUTELY loved this one. From the start Remy was so easily likeable. He was smart, caring, adorable, is someone who knows exactly what he wants and isn't afraid of speaking up for himself and others. What I loved the most about him was that even though he suffers from anxiety he never let it stop him from doing what he needs to do. I loved how he was willing to go talk to someone to get help in learning how to deal with it and not let it overwhelm him.
The pack he chose was perfect for him. Each and every one of them were completely different but worked so well together. We got to know them very well even though it's a big pack. Not only did Remy hang out with them a lot but we also saw how they interacted with one another.
There was definitely enough drama to keep you hooked. Some people got on my nerves while others had me crying when they didn't get chosen. There's like 3 or 4 people that I would love a book on I'm not gonna say names but 🙏🙏 👬.
The books in this series just keep getting better and better and I just know next book is gonna be amazing.
Miranda did it again!!! I have been a fan of this series since I read #1. She never fails to suck me in hardcore. I become invested in each one and the omega who is this season's star of the show. Though I will admit that I was REALLY looking forward to this book because MALE OMEGA!!!!! It was impossible not to love Remington (AKA: Remy) from the start! He is adorable and he's a very determined soul! He is working alongside many others to figure out why less women are becoming pregnant. It's downright admirable. With a pure heart like his, it's ABSOLUTELY his turn to find his pack. And OMGGGGG, this was such a wild ride! It was so awesome to see some familiar faces while also meeting some new ones. (No, I won't reveal who!! ;) Let's just say I was extremely proud of them. ^.^) I absolutely LOVED getting to know each one of the suitors, from those not chosen to those that become part of his pack. I will say that the ending was a serious twist -- in several ways! It has me so excited for the next book!! I'm already climbing the walls XD. Fantastic job, Miranda!!! I can't wait to get this as a paperback!!!!
Yes, yes, and yes! This was fantastic! I couldn’t put it down. I would have read it in one day if I didn’t have to get up for work in the morning, lol. Once I started, I didn’t want to start. This series has a choke hold on me like any good dating reality show does. From the characters and the pacing, to the plot and the rose ceremonies, Miranda has got me tied to my kindle, eating up every word and chapter. She even has me crying over suitors I never thought I’d be emotional over. Seriously it’s such a great addition to the series. I can’t wait for the next installment (which, btw, I called it! I knew this person would be the next Omega for season 5!). I really eat this very particular genre up. Reality dating series books (especially why choose).
This is a must read! You’ll binge this book like you binge your favorite Reality dating show-I just know it! (Ok, I’ll stop gushing about how much I love this book/series and try and patiently wait for the next season/book.)
When you watch reality tv, it always seems to be the same drivel, completely uninteresting, tired and overdone. That is not the case with Miranda May and her Heated series, each "Season" is new and unpredictable with drama unfolding with every date and rose ceremony. As the first male omega to be showcased in this book series, the storyline is new, original and a page-turner. I found myself hoping for certain characters to picked for the pack and completely understanding why others were sent packing. The story is engaging and I was engrossed in the whole book, like a true reality show would have you. The writing was fantastic, with twists and turns and the characters delightful and endearing, well those we were meant to like. Some of the more difficult topics discussed are done with Miranda May's usual deft hand and heartfelt emotion. With the hints from this books epilogue, I am excited for Season Five, which no doubt will be an absolute ripper.
First off let me start with this is my fist time reading one in this series but I absolutely loved it. I definitely will go back and read the others as well as what comes next.
I have always lived the dating shows and this is so much better. I absolutely adore a male omega and Remy is amazing. I love the way the show handled his anxiety with care and a therapist. I am diabetic so that was an interesting character and I actually felt that he was portrayed correctly which is something that does not happen often so I love that Miranda did.
I loved the way each "issue" no matter how big or small was handled. I also loved the different dates and how they were able to quickly make adjustments to accommodate any issues that arose.
I absolutely adored so many of the character and the twins were fantastic and their outlook is perfect for a reality show. Milo is like an adorable puppy and I love that energy. In so happy for Remy and his pack.
I absolutely adore these reality omegaverse books—they're a captivating blend of drama and angst that keeps me hooked. Watching the pack evolve as the Omega navigates their choices and relationships is always thrilling, and this installment is just as compelling as the others.
This season’s Omega, Remington, is such a delightful character—sweet yet grumpy at times. His journey feels incredibly relatable, especially as he grapples with anxiety and panic attacks. It was truly heartwarming to witness how the supportive team behind the show rallied around him, creating an environment that helped him confront his struggles.
Each of the suitors brings their own unique dynamic to the table, and their interactions with Remington, particularly as they navigate his anxiety, felt refreshing and genuine.
I can hardly contain my excitement for the next book!
This was such a good book! I absolutely love Miranda’s writing. There is something about it that just pulls me and and doesn’t let me go! I read this beauty pretty fast and I couldn’t put it down. I love the reality dating show that this series gives and this series has had me hooked from the beginning.
Remington has my heart! Honestly this book is probably my favorite of the series. Honestly I truly loved the connections in this book and the way they all grew to love each other. It had me swooning so hard. I felt like each love interest brought something to the table and they were all a puzzle that fit together so well.
Overall, I really enjoyed this book. It had so much to it and I couldn’t put it down. I highly recommend if you love omegaverse! I was crying, laughing and smiling a lot with this one. It’s a keeper!
I absolutely adore how well Ms May is able to describe each character's looks and personality. It’s a blast trying to guess who Remington’ll be compatible with. It’s delightful that she brought previous characters from her Heated Series back for us to enjoy. Some of Remy’s pack members were a shock to me and while others were a ‘yes!’ It’s fun being able to meet these diverse characters and get a feel for them through Ms May's awesome writing skills. Remy’s different date ideas for getting to know the alphas and betas were really neat and sounded fun. Of course, there’s always those who don’t go with the flow. Some of the characters actually surprised me with who they are as a person. Remy got a wonderful pack and the ending really set us up for the next awesome story in the Heated series, Knot Our Own. I’m really looking forward to it!
Remington (Remy) is the latest omega looking for a pack on the Heated reality tv show. He's also the first male omega to be featured. He suffers from anxiety but has somewhat learned how to manage it (although Finn - the counselor on site - helps him). I really liked the first 2 books (I'll be honest - I didn't read the third one when I saw there was FF in it - it's just not my thing).
It's not easy keeping track of SO many characters but you still can't help but cheer for certain ones. There were a few people that he didn't pick that I was sad to see go BUT thankfully they do show up in book 5.
I love so many variations of omegaverse books and this is one that is unique - having an omega form a pack from various people (not an already well-established pack before the omega comes into it).
This was my first foray into the Heated series and I absolutely loved it. There is a bit of character crossover from previous books but it does just fine as a standalone. I love Omegaverse with male omegas just because it is unique. I really fell in love with Remi from page one, he was just so relatable. Reading this book felt like binging your favorite reality TV show. You fall in love with some contestants immediately and instantly dislike others. You try to predict who is going to stay and who is going home. You scream at the stupid things characters do or say. All just like when you are watching a reality show TV show. Add in a heavy helping of spice and this book was so hard to put down. I am definitely going to read the rest of the series.
There are a lot of things I love about this fourth book. It's the first male omega as the main focus, we get to see several favorites come back to try again and the first dates that Remy plans are so much fun. I think those alone help him to choose who might be right for him. The story over all is amazing in that they talk about so many topics facing Omega’s especially male Omega’s and how the population had decreased in general. I loved that Miranda wrote his anxiety into the story and includes various ways for him to handle it. I enjoyed the rose ceremonies and trying to see if who I picked is who Remy picked. On the end I believe he had a great pack. I'm looking forward to the next installment of Heated.
I ended up not liking this one too much and I skipped the last one altogether. I’m not a fan of Remington at all or a lot of the suitors. I did like Brooke and I wish she could have her own book, but I think the next one is the end. I probably won’t be reading that one either. The bachelor aspect just fails for me. They pack up with no apparent feelings that I could see. It just felt flat and forced. The whole Lorenzo portion could have been skipped.
Why would you spend so much time worrying about someone you just met and who was just so gross at the first meeting? It just read weird and bringing him back later on was pointless. It served no actual purpose. Also, Remy had no personality. I read his whole part in a boring monotone.
I have only recently got into reading Omegaverse books and this is the first I've read where the Omega main character is male and I really enjoyed it. Remington (Remi) is the MMC who goes on the reality show 'Heated' in hopes of finding his pack in time for his heat, which is only eight weeks away.
I loved the way the author represented Remi's anxiety, it was well written and really showed the characters vulnerability. It also helped make the connection that he built with his chosen pack feel more real.
Love the relationship building throughout the book and how the writer incorporated the reality show aspect but with out taking from the characters relationships.
I enjoyed this book thoroughly! Remy was a great main character and I loved watching him pick his pack.
I love how committed the author is to redemption arcs and allowing character growth both within the book and across the series while allowing that growth to feel realistic/ not forced.
I also like how even when a suitor in this series is great they're not necessarily great for the main character, acknowledging chemistry and attraction. I'm disappointed that some of my early favorites didn't make it into Remy's pack but definitely see how the characters weren't right together and I'm optimistic about their chances in book 5!
Oh my gosh, the way this book kept me in its hold. If you have read any other the other books in this series you already know what you are signing up for. Its full of big feels, reality TV like drama, suspense, laughs, spicy and all the warm and fuzzies.
Miranda May is amazing at writing character which seem to jump of the page and pull you in with the emotions they are going through and this book is no exception. I loved Remi so much and seeing his path to find love. He is my fav contestant (but then I say that after each book) and am so excited with what the future hold with this series too!
Stars: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ spice: 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶 Characters: 10/10 Plot: 10/10 Would I Recommend: ✔️ YES
I absolutely loved the crap out of this book. I Am so happy I finally got to read an Omegaverse but in a male Omega beings the Main character. I enjoyed all the suitors but a small handful. I would love to see some Suitors get their story.
I am so glad he got his happy Ending. The spice was 🥵.
Miranda May will always be a top 5 favorite Author that I will continue to support.
I still cant get over how in real life, I am not a fan of reality dating shows, give me one of this series to read however and i am all over it! Remington is this seasons Omega and he is a good looking man, in a brilliant career and searching for his pack. Of course he is doing it all on screen and he has a history of anxiety and panic attacks. What could possibly go wrong? The suitors this season are great, all really engaging and if you dont immediately love them, then its only a page or two before you hate them! This book is hard to put down and once youve finished, its hard to say goodbye.
At first I was like a male omega? Is it gonna work? But of course the author blows my mind. Why was I in doubt? This is just as good as all the other ones and I have loved all of them so much! This story is about Remy and he loves the show so much that he signs up to find his forever pack. I love that he isn't perfect and has his anxiety and panic attacks. Makes him relatable and I enjoy the fact that the staff on the show is supportive. Need more of that and I certainly hope the author will add more to this series.
We have a new omega looking for their pack. Remy is kind of shy which we see right off the top. But is one that you easily fall in love with. Since book 1 the reality show of the series is unique and definitely draws you in. This one is no different. It is a story that quickly pull you in and doesn’t let go. I love the aspect of the and it was a fantastic journey to go alongside Remy as he discovers his pack as the first male omega. The story has drama and sweetness that definitely keeps you glued to it.
This is boom four of Heated and it did not disappoint! Once again I was hooked start to finish, completely drawn in and didn't want to put it down. Miranda May does an absolutely brilliant job creating so many new characters that are unique and realistic. I loved almost all of Remy's suitors and it was hard to decide who you wanted him to pick. In the end I think he had his perfect pack and the heat level was crazy. I'm eagerly awaiting book five and I have some favorite previous suitors back. This series is a must read!
I love this series about a reality show highlighting Omegas. Remy, (Remington), is a nerdy scientist who'd rather be researching than socializing. He has anxiety attacks which are addressed with such care, so appreciate our author for her words. We meet his suitors and the story gets better and better. Miranda's writing always carries me away into her world full of richly described characters and locations. She injects humor, caring, seriousness, and steam into the story. You won't want to put this one down, and you should read/ enjoy the whole series.
This was such a sweet story. Remy was cute and spicy at times. I loved seeing him slowly embrace more and more of his omega side but also standing up for himself more as well. He really seemed to blossom while searching for his pack. He worked through his anxiety and it was open to help when needed. There were a few contestants I want to shake real hard because they made me so mad. But at the end of the day I really think he found the right group for him. This book made me smile so much.
Remy just stole my heart, he just might be my favorite from the whole series. I really enjoyed the way Remy took things slow. He felt instant connections but took his time fleshing things out. His interactions with Eric, Milo, and Vic I loved. Milo kept he laughing. The banter between Remy and Milo felt super natural. Remus ending pack was exactly what he needed and what I was rooting for him to have
But… the twins…. Those two stole the whole show! I need them to have a story…I need them to show that protectiveness and care so I can swoon!
I love this whole series and Remy’s story is no different. In each book there has been different struggles and characteristics highlighted. Anxiety, being introverted, feeling like you’re not good enough, and so much more is what you’ll find in this book. Remy’s journey to find love and his pack is so sweet. I’m a huge fan of the fact that the suitors also become friends even if they don’t become mates. I also enjoy getting to see characters from previous seasons/books.
