The Earth Space Force Military has a problem. Something so dangerous that they need the ultimate distraction. A way to keep all the news stations away from it. They need them to focus on it rather than the massive alien ‘thing’ being lowered into a pit in the desert near Area 51.
They have decided that Keith and nine of his crew will be that distraction. They choose to drop off Keith, the hero starship captain, and a bunch of alien women off at Comic-Con for a surprise appearance.
That is one of their problems. They also encounter several new and very dangerous alien races and must deal with them.
And then there is the problem with the Meduala. The snake-haired aliens are led by an all-female group of Royal Meduala, much more powerful than the normal ones. They have taken a very special interest in Keith.
Is there any way to end the Wars Without Ends? And what will Keith have to do to earn the favor of the most powerful Meduala, the queen?
I am a retired software engineer who has worked on various medical/robotic hardware, oceanographic mapping, telecommunications, and submarine communication systems. He currently resides in New Hampshire and has decided to try writing some science fiction books.
Sometimes, you just want to read a fast-paced story with a lot of interesting non-humans, a little exploration, some adventure, and likeable characters. I hope that story comes with minimal death and destruction, but War is in the book title. Keith is still trying to do the right thing, although it means changing in unexpected ways.
Collin’s has a series with all the unlikely disparate aliens somehow coming together in the most unlikely, but acceptable way! When I finished this story, I was disappointed there wasn’t another, and I’m wondering how I would continue the characters I’ve glommed onto! So Mr. Collin’s, thank you for a fresh story!
I will definitely be continuing this series. The story telling is very good and the many characters well developed. The solutions to various situations are novel and interesting.
David Collins is a great storyteller. If he had a proofreader his books would be much better. It looks like he uses a spellchecker and nobody reviews its work. Please get a proofreader!
The captain has survived a massive amount of Madusa venom accidentally injected into his blood stream. Now they think he could be their salvation as every other male has died from the bite. Will he survive long term no one knows for sure. Good Read.
