When Cody arrives at an exclusive safari lodge for his internship, he expects adventure—but not the kind that awaits him. Among the sprawling savanna and the deep rhythms of the African bush, he finds himself entangled in a world of sensuality, self-discovery, and passion.

As he navigates his growing attraction to both the enigmatic French guest, Éthienne, and the magnetic, self-assured men who call the lodge home, Cody’s journey becomes more than just a summer job. Between heated nights beneath the starlit sky and stolen moments of longing, he begins to unravel the deepest parts of himself—desires he’s never fully understood and emotions he can no longer ignore.

But the wilderness is as unforgiving as it is beautiful, and everything is fleeting. With departures looming and emotions running high, Cody must confront the reality of love, lust, and what it means to truly let go.

Sensual, evocative, and deeply moving, Breaking Open the Sky is a coming-of-age erotic romance that explores the transformative power of desire, the bittersweet nature of fleeting connections, and the courage it takes to embrace who you really are.

Perfect for fans of immersive storytelling, steamy romance, and emotionally charged self-discovery.

I liked the lush and unique setting, the writing style is flowy and it's a real coming of age story which features being true to yourself.
And it's sexy. There is so much sex (thinking about doing it, doing it, getting it done 😂). It reads like a fever dream of a really really horny teenager. I suppose that's exactly what Cody is: good for him.
This was my first book by this author (and I think it's his first published story) and I'm intrigued what's next.
