I waited just over a year for this book, and it was ....good. It wasn't super exciting tbh, but I still enjoyed it. I thought the entire book was a little predictable. Honestly, if you read the epilogue of book 3, you already knew who the villain was, and as Cadmus was telling the story of the Obsidian Queen, I figured out the "plot twist" that is revealed on the last page.
I love all the men in this story. I felt like we got a little bit more of everyone in this book, and I liked the character development and romance progression. It's a good story, and I like this world of fae species. I like that the authors are bringing in all these different unique fae species into the same story.
This is a quick read, and the pacing works. I just think I'm losing a little interest in the overall story because of how long it took for this book to come out. I hope the next book comes out soon.

What the fuck!!!!! I need the next book like right now. It was fucking amazing. I loved this book so much but the ending was just mean.

I have so much to say and not enough space
Wow. So much happened in this book. Truly. I don’t even know where to start but I can tell you, I took a star off due to that horrible cliffhanger. To many authors think they need an overly done, dramatic, soul destroying act of a cliffhanger to keep your attention, but if the Author creates a masterpiece like this one, it’s not really needed. This book had plenty of action to keep me on my toes. The world wasn’t overly described, the characters emotions during the point of views we read, flowed so naturally with what was going on. Every chapter either had answers or more questions. I found the emotions were balanced perfectly. A lot of spice, some sadness, tons of rage, quiet empathy, vocal encouragement, some laughter, and even redemption. This paranormal World describes that it doesn’t matter what the parents are, the children can be any kind of paranormal.
Tristan was rough in this book. Being kidnapped by Ms Summer, torturing him like she did with Kian. Only this time, we got a front row seat of the torture techniques she was inflicting. A replication of the techniques she used on Kian. Once Tristan was found by V, (aka Virginia, aka Vagina, aka Victoria, aka any female name that starts with V) and Serafina, he shut down, he didn’t talk to anyone, he didnt go to school (although school was only mentioned a few times, but it was weird how they never got in trouble for missing so much school by being away due to a kidnapping, or hospitalization or being in another realm aka Fairie), he just stopped taking care of himself basically. Although, he would do absolutely everything to take care of his pack. My heart broke to read how broke he was. Sera would visit and make him eat, shower but Xander and Kian who he was living with couldn’t make him do anything. He just couldn’t stop imagining all the times he belittled Kian for being an Incubus and treated him like dirt for being an Incubus. Knowing now what he truly went through, all by himself. He just kept hearing Ms Summers describe what she did to him, and how all he wanted was for Tristian to save him, but he never did. So, he feels all this guilt and he only experienced a minuscule of what Kian went through. It bugs me, no one asked how Ms Summers was let out though. How they never followed that clue confused me.
Kian, he’s coming out of his shell in this book. He’s on his way to forgiving Tristian, Foster and Gage. We get to see him push past his comfort zone, including Tristian on a surprise date with Serafina. We also learned more about his powers in this book. After reading about this kid spewing absolutely disgusting lies about Serafina liking pain with sex with him to all his buddies. V overheard this and started to torture him, which is when Serafina felt something, was drawing her to the forest outside the school. Of course Gage, Foster and Kian followed. Foster started to lose it after hearing the lies this kid was spreading and almost burned the kid with his elemental fire power. That’s when we got to see Kian in action using something like a ”Persuasion” voice to calm Foster, a power he doesn’t use. It was nice to read that Kian had some powers other than sex powers that he was constantly used for. Hopefully this helps him gain more confidence in himself.
V, I loved him. He is my all time favourite. I’m actually kind sad that he was only introduced in the 2nd book. He flat out, Loves Serafina to everlasting death. That’s the best way to describe it. He’s OBSESSED! He doesn’t feel pain. I’m still confused on if he could have felt pleasure before Serafina. He was confused by her in the first book of his, the 3rd showed signs of his obsessiveness, but not to the degree in this book. We got more of his point of views, in this one which I Loved! He was realizing in this one that what he felt was Love, and he didn’t like to see her hurt which is why he went and found Tristian. I had a feeling at the end of the last one, Cheris would be the culprit of all the deaths. It’s just To bad that no one asked the right questions, or even talked to each other while being vulnerable with their emotions. So much could have come to light. His memories, remember Avril as his sister. His memory of his father, shows just the two of them. Why and how everyone thinks Cheris is the middle child eludes me.
Foster showcased his elemental powers in that fire show against that snivelling school mate. That was a first. He’s always described as calm but he lost his shit then. The rest of the book was calm for them.
Serafina. The little spitfire, with a backbone of steel. She still experiences seizures and still doesn’t tell the guys. She also experiences weakness, and headaches. It isn’t front and center like the first book. She’s protective of her guys, and finally learns that she’s all their mates, Xander, his twin Devyn, their younger brother Tristian, their cousin Kian, Gage and Foster. Instinctively she knew, but they didn’t tell her when they realized and it threw her for a loop, thinking they didn’t tell her because they didn’t want her. She bugged me a little bit in this book, she’s still her charming, sassy self but she doesn’t know how to help her guys through their trauma. She lets them wallow in it, without interceding to help them in anyway. I hoped she would help them, push them out of their comfort zone when needed but she didn’t. She just let them know she was there for them if they wanted to talk. Granted I’m glad she did but when the book is 70% full of a depressed mate/mates, it makes me sad. She sees them retreat and doesn’t do anything to help them out of it. I mean, of course, let them at least process, and come to terms but after some time, other measures should be tried to help. It reminds me that she did the same with Kian.
Xander is the bdsm expert with his shadows that Serafina used to kill Ms Summers. He uses on them to edge Serafina but they never actually do the deed, which disappoints me. I hoped to read a chapter or two with her finally getting to scratch the itch. Xander is the daddy of the group, the planner and the punisher when he thinks it’s warranted. He works Serafina up with his bossiness, which makes her want to defy him to see him, hoping to make him break first. She hasn’t reached that point yet.
Devyn is the one that’s on the case for the serial killer, the one that was found dead in her bed. He finally catches a lead where the mass grave was found behind their house. The sticks and branches, formed a ruin that was etched in all the murdered girls the serial killer kidnapped and killed. The reader finds out it originates from the Obsidian Queen, the last of the Queens from the king that reigned when the fairie virus went out of control. We learned she was jealous of the other wives and murdered them. Power flowed into her from each wife she killed, and after each wife died, the King, her husband, grew more and more depressed. She started murdering fae of all ages to steal their power and life force, all so she could reign over the entire world. Guess who she is in this book. Cheris, you guessed it. Once Devyn is told about the original history of fairy he will put the clues together. They are started to suspect Cheri but they have no evidence. Xander does ask Avril to look into her sister when Cadmeus (from fairy and is also a Basilisc) came to suck out the mutated fairy virus that V was suffering from. He finally saves V who wakes up and is instantly asking where his “kitten” is. To have that kind of love and obsession is really intriguing to me and I feel like I need a guy like that in my life. I can’t wait to read when Serafina and him actually do the deed, it’s going to be a smokin hot chapter I’m sure.
Gage is the last of them. He is so quiet, he feels so much, but never expresses it. He only speaks more when Serafina is around which intimidates everyone. The entire student body is scared of him and gives him a wide berth in the halls even when he’s never done anything to provoke that kind of reaction. It finally comes out, that on his 13th Birthday, his
Powers emerged and destroyed his father’s mind. He was 13 for Christ sake and he just got his powers. The reader knows from his point of views how abusive his dad was and now his mom abuses him. He supports her while still going to school, working part time at a restaurant. He gives her money for “food” even though he knows she will just buys drugs with it. He lets her physically, mentally, and verbally abuse him, he lets her steal from him, and knows when she lies. Shes his mother and despite how bad she treats him, he does what he can to help her. He just wants her to love him like a mother should. He lets her treat him like crap, because he thinks he deserves it for what he did to his dad. Unfortunately, someone frames him and uses powers that he has to destroy the minds of the seelie and unseelie fae lords. Devyn takes him in for questioning alongside Serafina parents and brothers. This absolutely broke me. Gage was handcuffed and had the Fae Queen (V and Avril’s mom) screaming in his face accusing him of murdering her daughter and fae lords. Serafina shows up and sees this, warns the queen off him while spinning her knives around. Poking holes in her story about murdering vs going into a coma like trance. Devyn pulls her out of the room promising her that he had a plan and to trust him. I honestly feel like Serafina giving into him didn’t match the rage it instilled in me as a reader. She knows Gage didn’t do this but was convinced to leave him in custody. My heart seriously broke for him and her. Gage needs something positive to come out of this. His character reminds me of Eyore from Winnie the Pooh. He’s somewhat of an underdog and you just want to hug and squeeze them while encouraging them to see how amazing they really are.
This book evoked a lot of feelings. The ending especially when Cheris showed up to kidnap Serafina. I’m so mad at both of the authors. We really didn’t need that at the end of the book. There was so much that happened between the main characters, and finally getting to explore Fairy in search of answers to the cure for V. Serafina finally getting her groove on with some of the guys. My heart hurts to know that I won’t know how long she’s going to be separated from her guys. I absolutely DESPISE cliffhangers involving kidnapping from their mates. I refuse to read a book if it’s a full book length of the female or male main character being kidnapped from their mates. It inspires some mad anxiety in me so I’m praying that it isn’t long that she’s away from them.
Which is the only reason why I rated it 4 stars. That cliffhanger wasn’t needed. We the readers are already hooked.

Killer Cliffhanger
To the authors...... You ladies are killing me with these cliffhangers! Now to the readers, I love this series, to the point that every time a new book comes out I read all the books all over again. And each time that I do, I still laugh or get angry on behalf of a characters plight. I adore Sera's quirky sense of humor and her blood thirsty ways. Her family makes me laugh and her mates are all interesting in their own ways. Tristan was the only one of her mates that I wanted to throttle, but he has started to finally redeem himself. All in all, this was a great continuation of this series and I am looking forward to the next adventure.

Good read, some unexpected turns. Very annoyed that the series is not finished and it did not say that anywhere when I started.

writing was good, cliffhanger though!
I thought this was the final book, checked and it was 4 out of 4. I would have waited to start the series when all books are out.
I really hate Xander. What kind of asshole hits a woman, purposely causing her pain when she’s experienced pain all her life? It’s a betrayal of women, especially battered women when you write that a woman enjoys being beaten and ‘punished’ by her mate, her equal and partner. Had to just keep flipping pages till it was over.
Writers, do better when representing your fmc’s as strong women only to have them ‘punished’ (is she 5 and he’s her dad that she’s screwing? Gross) and beaten, disguising it as spanking. You’re saying women are under men and have to act the way they want them to or else. A woman has the right to make decisions, and shouldn’t be punished if an asshole doesn’t agree. Xander made a lot of mistakes, did she stab him 20 times making him count out each stab?
Do better for the women that read these books. Unless you’re screwed up in the head and need therapy after being abused you don’t get turned on by being beaten. Go check the women’s shelters and you’ll know that.

Very good, but some gaps.
This was a good read. I really enjoy the series and characters so far. That being said, it's not a 5 star because the writing does seem to have... gaps. For example, 1 minute, the FMC is a virgin, then suddenly having a 3-some for her first time, with some serious gymnastics? We're into the series 4 books, and just BARELY finding out what 1 character is, and still have literally no clue as to most of their pasts that have developed them? Overall? I really enjoy this series. Just some gaps and thinks that level me thinking I missed a chapter or 2.

wait, what??
I checked how many books there were before I started the series, and I checked if there was anything saying there was another due, because I’m so tired of series that are wonderful but unfinished and possibly never will be finished. I checked how many books there were before I started the series, and I checked if there was anything saying there was another due, because I’m so tired of series that are wonderful but unfinished and possibly never will be finished. At this point, I am pretty frustrated with the series. I was totally hooked in book one with the cool magic system, an intriguing side quest with a serial killer, and what I thought was a fairly interesting plot of a woman finding magic, learning about herself, and hopefully finding her mate(s), but at this point I feel like the authors are stringing us along with intentionally short books that lack development and end with exasperating cliffhangers. Frankly, the Afterwards that sarcastically apologize for the cliff feel like rubbing salt in the wound.
I did appreciate (finally) learning about Gage and his creature, confirming several suspicions about both the killer and Sera, and I didn’t mind having alternate POV chapters from outside Sera’s bond occasionally. I do really feel like the bond relationships are lacking in development, though, and I wish it didn’t feel quite so much like insta-love. I’m not sure if I’ll end up reading the next book.

The only reason I’m not giving it five stars is because of how short it was and because of how long we had to wait to get it.
I still love the characters, especially Sera and V. But honestly, I just love them all and I was so happy to read them again. The humor was on point as always there were some really beautiful touching chapters that warmed my heart. There were some sexy scenes that were good. Even though I feel like there should’ve been more with more of her mates being that the next book is probably the last. And she hasn’t had sex with four out of the seven mates yet.
But all in all, I really did like it a lot. I do hope that Cadmus won’t become another mate because that’s just way too much. Let’s just stick to the one she has and get more time with her and them.

Wow!
So much information, so much is explained, and yet so much frustration on the cliffhanger. You have to give credit to both Quinn Arthur’s and Katie May, when they leave you hanging they really leave you hanging. This story is exciting, entertaining and awesome. Sera and her harem are characters with spirit, badass attitude and love you want to see them all get their HEA. Sera’s harem are each different and give Sera unconditional support in finding her place and herself. I’m hoping we don’t have to wait a year for the next book, but at the same time you don’t want it rushed to the point it loses in the entertainment. I had went into this series thinking it was a completed series but once I got to the fourth book and there was a cliffhanger…. I want surprised and very very very sad and depressed. I hate when I do this to myself knowingly but it’s even worse if I didn’t know till the end. I love this series so far but I feel like their should have been more added to the books. I felt like we didn’t get much smut scenes with seraphina and her mates till way later in the series and i don’t know how many book are left but she has only had sex with like half of her mates. I hope we get more smut scenes and more with multiple mates at the same time. And I hope we get to see some of seraphina mates fae side like Tristen’s wolf. The most of the book was predictable at least the last two books for me.

I enjoyed this series. It seems a constant in r/harem books that the authors need to work to include the spice scenes that is a bit unnatural to me. I am fully aware it is fiction but I do feel that in some sense it has to mimic reality. FMC uses sex to “make them forget” or in this case she is intimate with one or more of the guys while the other is on the brink of deaths door, this is unnatural to me.
However there are sooooo many great things about this series. The characters are unique and that is a feat because of the large size of the harem. The plot is captivating and that is a plus plus plus for me.

Katie May and Quinn Arthurs may just steal the Cliffhanger Queen[s] Crown from Debbie Cassidy. I just finished Enticing Monsters and I feel as if my heart's been ripped from my chest and I'm nothing more than a bleeding corpse hurtling down to be smashed upon the rocks.
I can't wait for the next book!!!! (Pease let it be soon)

Immmm so irritated. I thought this was complete. It turns out, it’s not. That’s on me. Anyways, I love this series, so I am sure once the authors get around to finishing it I will reread it. The plot was at the crucial point, the last book will wrap things up nicely. Told in multiple pov, this book has a little more spice, but over all the spice level is maybe a 1-2 chilli peppers, and honestly it’s okay, because the book has substance.

I got 80% done and even though there’s no indication of of another book and kindle lists this as 4 of 4, it’s clear that this book will not end the story. The 2 stars are my reaction to being misled and I stopped early to avoid more snarky comments from the authors at the cliffhanger for this book.

Jaw dropping
So much happens I love V Foster and Gage in this book. My heart hurts for Tristan but I love how everyone is working with him. We find out so much info on the skin walker history and queen. The ending definitely caught me off guard and need more now. I cannot wait to see what happens.

No freaking way it just ended like that! I thought there was more story to read. I didn't even realise when the reached the end of the book until the flipped the last page. I need more! I don't know how I am going to wait for the next book to release. On a different note, Cadmus was a surprise that I liked very much. Can't wait to see more of him in the next book.

It’s not 4 out of 4 books and I just wasted my time reading this. Nothing more infuriating than starting a “completed” series only to find out it’s another freaking cliffhanger. I will not return to this series because knowing this author it will be 5 years before we get another. Good story but I am sick of the cliffhanger game.

I'm so mad. I thought this was the last book but instead got left on a cliffhanger. This book was ok but too slow. The relationships are moving slowly and I'm getting a little tired of everyone always threatening to murder each other instead of asking the right questions and getting to the point but I have loved the series up to now. This one was really a disapointment.

BIG plot holes, small plot holes, so many plot holes! So on a scale of 1 to 5, this title gets a 1 plot wise but a solid 5 for the rest! This series is so entertaining I couldn't put it down! Some scenes and banter are so comically funny. The naughty scenes made me blush and my heart to speed, they are not blatantly over the top but were well written. I hate having to wait for book 5. I thought this was a completed series.

Unfinished series. This installment takes us into faerie itself where we learn more about the virus that killed so many fae thousands of years ago. The cliffhanger on this itch was wow .I thought it might be her but wow .i need book 5 . I absolutely hate Ki’s parents they are some horrible people and deserve some bad crap to come their way. I’m just in shock with that ending.

Oh holy cliffhanger
GAH! I've been waiting for this book for what felt like forever and it was SO GOOD that I finished it in a day. I got greedy! Hopefully the next book will come quicker than this one did!!! The cliffhanger was a doozy!!

3.5* While there was movement with the storyline, it also felt a bit empty. Like the others, this book is also quick and short. I finished it in a couple of hours. Hoping the next will be the last because I’m getting fatigued with all the drawn out storylines that are more common these days.
