This is a story about a woman. Who has to get a job, to help take care of her mother.
Then there is a man that has to work. Who happens to need a nanny for his 3 year old daughter. Because his other nanny just walked out on him.
There is a instant attraction.
It is so good I finished it in one night.

I should have known from the title that this book would be terrible, in hindsight, I wanted a quick read and searched “single dad romance” into my kindle… so yeah, this book was not good. It could have been worse, possibly? I just hate insta love and this escalated way too quickly. 𝐀𝐥𝐲𝐬𝐬𝐚 𝐊𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐝𝐲 (h) needs a job to pay for her mother’s medical bills and the opportunity presents itself when 𝐒𝐞𝐭𝐡 (H) billionaire workaholic, needs a nanny to take care of his daughter Jennie since he has long hours.

Let me tell you, she gets pregnant and they’re married by the end of the book, and the love confessions happened so quickly when they barely had full length conversations together. Their relationship was just weird, it’s probably my issue with insta-love, but they were automatically attracted to each other when she did the interview to be his nanny and the right after she was having sex dreams about him in detail. I really don’t want to think about this book again because the dialogue was cringey and they were weirdos, especially her. She repeatedly said he made her a “horn dog” and that was just … NO. Their dynamic wasn’t even interesting or believable, he was so quick to find her attractive and she would rub her toes on him??? HE SUCKED HER TOES, must I say more… weirdos fr!!
The entire book they’re traveling but I swear nothing happened, it was just odd interactions and a few sex scenes. He also has a “no pictures rule” because his parents were vloggers and he hates the influencer life.. so he lashed out at the mc when he would see her taking pictures. He was annoying and I couldn’t wait to finish this book 🫡 erasing this immediately from my memory. If you want to pick this up, I’m probably being dramatic but either way good luck!!
No seriously, how did they spend a few weeks together and suddenly she’s the family he’s always wanted?? IF YOU DONT.. anyway, apparently they are soulmates and we’re meant to be. Why does he love her? Is it because she’s attractive…nothing happened really. He says she truly understands him but all she really does it respect his “no pictures” rule.

Single Dad Grump - An Unforgettable Hot Romance
An absolutely must-read story! This is not the typical cookie-cutter romance novel. This one goes even deeper in the emotions, deep enough to touch you. You are pulled into the story of Seth, a single dad who is very busy & doesn't have much time for his daughter so he needs a full-time nanny who is flexible enough to be able to travel, if needed. His strict rules have previous nannies leaving on short-notice. Alyssa, needs a well-paying job to help pay medical bills for her mom & this nanny position is literally handed to her. When he sees how quickly his daughter, Jennie takes a liking to her & they interact so naturally, he's confident with his decision of hiring Alyssa. He doesn't count on Alyssa turning his world upside down & his grumpy attitude has changed for the better. He wants to spend more time with Jennie & Alyssa so he takes them to different parts of the world mixing his business meetings with personal time. Alyssa takes the time to open the beautiful world to Jennie & to Seth. Both are falling in love with Alyssa. Their HEA doesn't come easy when they return home. His ex-wife & mother to Jennie has returned & is expecting to be his wife again. Will Seth have a change of heart, take the ex back after she deserted him & their baby years ago & be the biological family as if nothing had happened? Where does Alyssa fit into this puzzle? Continue to be a mistress with Seth or be pushed out of their lives?
I found this story of a single dad so touching & emotional. He appears to be a grumpy miserable guy who loves his work but while around his daughter, Jennie, he's so loving & treats her like a princess. It's a fast-paced love story with enough chemistry between Seth & Alyssa that the novel just might combust! Beautifully written, leaving the reader with the good feels at the end of the story. I loved reading this novel & I would recommend this one as this one should be a best seller, in my opinion.

I'm so glad I stuck with Lisa Ryan, after I was disappointed in Boss’s Fake Fiancee, because I loved this book so much! Seth is a single father to
Jennie, who is in need of a nanny urgently after his quits. His friend sends him applicants she can gather up on such sort notice. Alyssa is a waitress looking for a better job so she can afford to buy her mom's medications. She gets a call from Seth's friend telling her about the open nanny position. She goes to the interview and after seeing Alyssa and Jennie playing together and he notices how comfortable Jennie is around the new nanny he hires her. Seth has to travel for work and he wants to take the girls with him but Alyssa is hesitant because she doesn't want to leave her mother when she's sick. Her mother tells her to go and have an adventure, so she does. During their trips things change between Seth and Alyssa and they give into the sexual attraction between them. After traveling to Bremuda, getting on a cruise, going to Africa and eventually ending up in Japan, Alyssa gets a call that her mom needs life saving surgery. They fly home so she can be with her mom but there is a surprise waiting for them at the airport. The story ends with a great HEA! I love that Seth, Jennie and Alyssa become their own little family. I also love how Alyssa's family welcomes Seth and Jennie in with open arms.

Super grumpy boss Seth gets what he truly deserves.
Seth is a single dad to a seriously funny 3 year old daughter named Jennie. She is this man's whole world. Now he has to find a new nanny at the drop of a hat! So he calls an old friend to make that happen. Given multiple resumes he chooses 3 to interview. But one has a picture included and he definitely has his sights set on meeting her.
Alyssa shows up at 11 o clock the next day, just after visiting her mom at the hospital. She is really hoping that she gets this job because the money will help her pay for her mom's much needed surgery.
When Seth invites Alyssa in, she is slightly tongue tied for a moment. She is absolutely stunning, but would she be good for Jennie? Let the interview begin. After answering all the questions, little Jennie comes running into the room and takes over the interview. She asks Alyssa to see her artwork and after getting the OK, Alyssa follows her to her room and they get along better than Seth could hope.
Things change quickly after being hired, and Alyssa is shocked to find out that she is traveling so soon after coming on staff. She is even more surprised by the flirting going on between herself and her boss. The more she is around them the more she is also drawn to them. Then the kiss happens.
So good. Just amazed at how Seth comes around and begins to feel so much for Alyssa, then her family situation. Must read story! Enjoy

Single Dad Grump is a stand alone, billionaire, age gap, accidental pregnancy romance. This was my first book review for this author.
I wanted to really love this book and it has potential, but I had some problems with the storyline and characters. Seth is a billionaire single Dad. Alyssa is a broke single young lady who Seth hires to be a Nanny for his daughter.
Seth and Alyssa ate instantly attracted to each other, but throughout the story I felt that their relationship was very superficial. They never learn anything about each other. It’s just sex and then at the end of the book they are in love. The ending felt rushed. The smexy times were good and Seth grew on me, but Alyssa not so much.
I recommend the book of you go in knowing the issues because I do like the potential of the book. I look forward to reading a future book by this author as she continues growing in her writing journey.

Seth and Alyssa were captivated with each other right from the start. When his nanny walks out on him, he needs another and fast. Jenny needed a job and to pay for medicines her mother needed. Seth hires Jenny when he sees how well she gets along with his daughter. This story drew me in and kept me glued to the ages to see how Seth and Alyssa's journey ends! I am volunteering to leave a review for an ARC of this book.

I thought this was a cute, enjoyable read. It had great characters, with some good chemistry, and a nice ending. I really liked the storyline. Totally worth the read.

Loving all of Lisa Ryan’s stories! They are quick paced and a great length. Once you start one you don’t want to put it down until the end.

So much was missed
I honestly feel like this was a cliff notes version. Every detail was glanced over and wasn't in depth like I would have preferred. I didn't have time to love the characters or set the scene.

Good for word length
It’s a good quick read. A lot more detail and relationships could have been explored in further depth. It moves really fast towards the end.
