I don't think the author knows what charisma is

I felt as if the book had nothing to do with charisma...half way through the book, decided not to waste my time...don't waste tour money as you will get nothing but generic recommendations such as "be friendly, focus on other people, dress well, look fit..." out of this book...

Easy Read, Worthwhile Tips

I would consider this to be a quick primer on the attributes of a charismatic person. While I didn’t agree with all the rules in the book, I agreed with most of them, and the examples were generally good. In some cases I highlighted most of a chapter. If you’re interested in improving your charisma, this is a great place to start.

Excellent and inspiring

Read it through fully the first time around and found it to be very inspiring, and will also encourage my grown children to read it. Next step is to start working on action plans around each topic that sound simple yet effective if developed as new goals and perpetuating habits - may even discuss some of them as a family for better perspective and to motivate each other with actionable ideas.

READ IF YOU HAVE SOCIAL ANXIETY.

This book could help out sooo many people in social situations. It contains a lot of things you kind of already know , but help you focus in on them as they pertain to you and then find a solution. I definitely learned a few tips to help me in conversation, especially while listening, and how to improve who I am conversationally. Starting a phone note list of affirmations asap !

Author is a lame

This book in a few words. Find someone charismatic and pretend you're them. This guy goes to social gatherings approaches groups of strangers and apologizes for not having introduced himself and makes small talk. WHAT A HERB. 😂

Clear, friendly advice

Wow. Gary examines charisma, and what it can do for you. Then he lays out a number of rules for developing it in yourself. And they're really not that hard to put into action. Read and do!
