Kori and Nora are on the case again when a Nora finds a body in her wheat bin. The wheat had been delivered recently and it is obvious the guy was murdered. No one recognized the man and since he was a relative stranger Kori and Nora decide to figure this out on their own. Kori is also trying to hire an assistant since she is saving so much money by buying bulk with the local market.

This is a pretty good series.

Murder most fowl.

A body found in a grain delivery. Another mystery to be solved. The recipes are always good and the descriptions of the breakfasts make me wish I was eating at the Early Bird Cafe.

Definitely the best book so far. I really felt v that Ginny Gold was sharing more of the story and the characters with us. However, the solving of the murder and the aftermath was just too quick.

I will keep reading the series, I feel each book gets better and I have high hopes still.

Ginny Gold's Early Bird Cafe Books are always a delightful read. Croaked Wheat is no exception. A light mystery with likeable characters and mouth watering descriptions of the food served at the Early Bird Cafe make this a fun break from a busy day.
