A body found in a grain delivery. Another mystery to be solved. The recipes are always good and the descriptions of the breakfasts make me wish I was eating at the Early Bird Cafe.
Definitely the best book so far. I really felt v that Ginny Gold was sharing more of the story and the characters with us. However, the solving of the murder and the aftermath was just too quick.
I will keep reading the series, I feel each book gets better and I have high hopes still.
Ginny Gold's Early Bird Cafe Books are always a delightful read. Croaked Wheat is no exception. A light mystery with likeable characters and mouth watering descriptions of the food served at the Early Bird Cafe make this a fun break from a busy day.
