This series might not be for me
I’m not sure how this book has no low ratings. How did immediately the only person on Jacks side was King. They’re all “don’t be rude to Sam”. Authors writing the h to never be in the wrong even though (spoilers) she PURPOSEFULLY got pregnant by Jack then it didn’t go her way due to bad circumstances and so she runs then goes to where Jack is unknowingly but still doesn’t tell him she had his baby. But Jack is the bad one.

That's all I could sing after reading the first chapter, and now it's stuck in my head for days. Jackass is the fantastic second novel in the Silver Shadows MC by new author Ann Silver. At points, Jackass certainly lives up to his name, but in the end, you can't help but fall in love. Secret baby trope is a FAVE of mine, but this was the first time I've seen it written like this! Initially, it was a bit slower but settled in nicely with TONS of twists and turns. At this point, I'm super invested in all these guys and can't wait for whatever comes next@

Expect Plot Twists!
Book two features Sammy and “Jack” (an abbreviation of his road name Jackass).
Five years ago Sammy and Jack had one night together, she was crazy about him , well crazy in the nice way not the stalking from the shadows kind of crazy. She was desperate and she was hoping Jack could deliver, but she had no plans to ever tell him the truth and he was moving to a different state anyway. Despite knowing it was wrong Sam went ahead with her plans.
Plans that quickly backfired on her setting into motion a twisted series of events. By pure chance Sam and Jack ended up in the same small town, he left her behind once before and had no plans to leave her again. That kind of chemistry doesn’t come along very often, he could be patient, or rather he planned to be until the truth called out to him in the middle of Walmart.
Well worth reading, this is only book two and already the characters feel like old friends.

Jackass is book 2 in the Silver Shadows MC series and it is freakin FANTASTIC! These characters I absolutely fell in love with in Blade and although this is Jack and Sammy's story, this author gives us lots from all of this wonderful Shadow family. Jack and Sammy's journey completely engulfs readers from the very beginning and doesn't let go even after the epilogue. Jack is fabulous but I LOVE watching Sammy overcome her past issues and evolve into this fierce fierce woman who has no problem putting anyone in their place. And we won't even get started on Charlie. She's absolutely precious and has the entire MC wrapped right around her little finger. This story has plenty of drama, twists, turns and surprises that keep you glued to the pages all the way through! Well done Ms. Silver! Can't wait for book 3!

An entertaining read.
I have read a few of the series now and the ending in each always leaves the reader with a total surprise and anticipation leading up into the next in the series. The main characters interact well with secondary characters, which creates the 'family' feel which the club purport to have. It did take me a while to warm up to the character of Sammy simply because of the situation with having Charlie, but she does try and redeem herself throughout the story.
There is no real biker action in the form of fights with other clubs etc, Any action revolves around the main character's story.

Great book! The secrets that start spilling all over the place as Jackass and Sammy find each other again are fantastic. And When Carrie's true self starts to come out, all I could think was...I want to be Beck when I grow up! The way she handled Carrie was priceless! Jackass is no longer unwanted. He finds loves and acceptance with Sammy, his steamy one night stand, as does she. I loved the twist of Carrie, and Jackass's found family with his brother. A fantastic read, and I can not wait for the third book in this series to come out.

The twists and turns in this book blew my mind. I stay awake way too late to finish this one. The suspense keeps you on your toes the majority of the book. I loved it!
This found family is one of my favorites I have ever read. Jackass is the halt to lucky guy of the MC with a traumatic past that comes back to find him.
Sam is in a terrible marriage when she meets Jack at a bar 5 years prior to the start of this book. She has been through it in those years. Breaks your heart a bit. But this girl has a backbone and is freaking strong. A favorite FMC.
Them together is flawless. She balances out his behavior and basically becomes the club mom to all the men. I love all of it!

Jack and Sammy had a one night stand and by morning she was gone, now 5 ueara on their paths cross and secrets come to light, she's got a past that's coming for her and it's not just her she's watching out for but her daughter. Everyone leaves Jack but he never forgot about Sammy and he doesn't plan on losing her a second time. Well written steamy desires, second chances twists ajd more, a great addition to to series

A fantastic story with layers of anger, secrets, betrayals, tension and plot twists you don’t see coming. Add to the mix some great characters, tough ol ladies and a cute little girl running rings around the club.
This is a one sitting page turner. I’m hoping we don’t have too long to wait for the next book.

Chance at Love
Sammy never knew what she was doing when it came to Jack. She just knew that she wanted him. But everything has a past that raises its ugly head. Now she and Jack are in the fight of theirs lives.
Jack fell in love with Sammy the first night they met. He wanted a forever thing but that wasn't in the cards.
I loved the plot and the way that the characters played their roles in the story. I am very glad that I took a chance on a small town MC.

Jack and Samantha meet and have one night together. Samantha had ulterior motives that Jack knew nothing about, though he couldn't forget her, he didn't know how to find her. Fast forward a few years and one surprise Walmart visit, bam everything comes to a head. Navigate their romance along with all the twisted and turns involved, and you won't regret it. Just read it!

I was hopelessly hooked on Sammy and Jack's wild ride in this second installment of The Silver Shadows MC series, devouring it in a single day. The story was a masterclass in suspense and surprises, keeping me on the edge of my seat until the very end. Ann Silver's writing is pure magic, earning this book a well-deserved 5 stars.

Absolutely loving these characters
This MC Family is amazing. Alpha protective men and their strong women. Even the littlest one in the family has these big men becoming softies but never loosing their edge of awareness. Strong opinions and emotions rule this story but another HEA.

Wow
I absolutely love this author. This is only the second book I have read by her but her books are just better and better. I wasn't the biggest fan of Blade's character so I didn't leave a review on his book but I absolutely love all of the old ladies. And Jack? Such a great hero. I can't wait to see the stories of all of the other men.

such an entertaining read
I enjoyed this story. There are so many twists and turns for almost everyone in this MC. The characters just pulled me in until the very last page. I have got to read more in this series. HEA, no cheating, no cliffhanger. Very entertaining!

Great Book
Man this was an Great book. It was interesting, secret child, single mom, didn't know he was a dad or have a brother, starker, wonderful characters, entertaining, action, kidnapping, unpredictable, found family, friend is nuts, and so much more. The ending,WOW!! Need it Now!!!
