Thrilling

Eva is a free spirited and brave woman, who will do anything to get Hugh, the man she loves, to realize that they are meant to be together forever. I loved this story!

Loved the narration of Alison Phoenix, who brings the medieval life to your ears. With the mystery, romance, heat and magic all come to your ears.

We get to know Eva with her gift of illusion and Hugh is now a warrior and once believed magic could be only used for evil. Hugh was fostered and raised by Roland's parent. They went to war, with Roland's younger brother Charles. Eva and Hugh are attracted, but she is a Lady and he is a peasant. No matter what Eva says, Hugh believes he is unworthy of her.
It is not magic but love that makes them see they are right, for each other.

We have some heat, mystery, magic and honour.

Adored is the second book in the Thrice Blessed trilogy. Eva, Christiana's sister, amidst all the turmoil caused by The Master, falls in love with Hugh, a man who, at age six, saved the life of Roland when he was two. Roland's parents fostered and raised Hugh along with Roland and They went to war, along with Roland's younger brother Charles. Eva has the gift of illusion, and fabricated an army to fool the Normans, but Roland saw through the ruse. She and Hugh are attracted from the first, but she is a Lady and he is a peasant. No matter what Eva says, Hugh believes he is unworthy of her

I've had this book and the next in the series on my list since before the holiday. I wish I would have picked the series back up sooner! I listened to the audio book edition of this. The narrator is really engaging and easy to listen to.

In this 2nd book in the series we get more angst between a sister and her love interest. Despite the angst it is still a fairly light read/listen and I love going in knowing there will be a happy ending!

This story centers around Eva and Hugh. Eva knows he is the only man for her. Hugh feels that she would be marring beneath her station. The evil is still out there and has set is eye on Eva. I enjoyed this story and the narration suits the narrative perfectly.

A good love story

With an intimation of sexual gratification which enhances the sisters mysterious powers. What will spark Marina's power to finally defeat "the master"?
