The novel is a mix genre sci-fi thriller and romance, it depicts the struggle of protagonists Vikram and Diya, as their holiday in kasol turns into a nightmare due to a supernatural anomaly. It shows how the holiday meant to rekindle the past memories of their loving relationship turns into a survival game. The novel dwells into the concept of multiverse and depicts human emotions with finesse. A must read for sci-fi and romance lovers. Waiting for the sequel.

The strongest point in this book is probably when Vikram and Diya decided to turn on the strange device in the abandoned lab. The scene is a mess of chaos and awe to the extreme - the world changing, time being stopped and feelings getting mixed up as the universe was dividing around them. The writer's elaborate depiction got me to share the terror, amazement, and grief all together. This is the crossroads where the future of science is guided by fate and the world is not left the same. The point of the moment stays with you for a very long time after the reading, it’s an indication of how a single decision can break your entire understanding of reality. Very impressive and at the same time a little bit disturbing.

The character which I liked the most in this book was Diya. I was really impressed with her bravery and emotional side, especially when everything seemed to fall apart around her she stills had love and reason in her. I loved when she said, “If the world is falling apart, I’d still choose to see its beauty before it ends.” I think that sentence was the most accurate one to describe her indomitable spirit. Diya is not only a character that manages to survive but she is the one who is able to give human warmth to the inevitable chaos caused by science and fate. It is the mixture of her being both logical and emotional that makes her a person whom one can identify with and remember forever.

The point that I remembered the most was the finale—when Vikram and Diya figured out that they were not in the same reality anymore. The very sad discovery, in which love goes beyond different universes, really shocked me and made me emotional. The quietness between them, which was stuffed with all the words that they could not express, was stronger than any conversation. It made me reflect on the fact that our reality is very fragile and that love is even capable of going beyond the limits of existence. I keep thinking about that last time which is a very strong and mixed impression of science, sacrifice, and soul.
