Cecilia ‘Charlie Brown’ Baxter Running away was the only way to save my life. Stopping for a place to rest seems like the right thing to do until I’m face-to-face with danger. There is no time for an escape plan because Arrow has me right where he wants me. My mind understands I’m in danger, but my heart can’t help but see under all the muscles, frowning faces, and deadly glares, there is a gentleness that can’t be hidden. Arrow is the muscle of the Riding Rebels MC, and I quickly learn that he means business. He knows I’m not being completely honest, and until I come clean… Arrow has made it clear that I won’t be going anywhere.
Helix ‘Arrow’ Miller When stuff happens that is out of the ordinary, red flags go off in my head. Things that go bump in the night usually don’t end well for the person invading our space. With a flick of my finger, I can end Charlie, but the pain in her eyes stops me before I can react. She doesn’t belong here, and I want her gone, but I can’t let her go. The name Charlie Brown is a lie, and I know it… She’s running from something, and that brings forth murderous thoughts. I’ll find out whatever she’s running from, and I won’t stop until the only threat against her is me.
My heart broke for Cecelia and what she endured from her cowardice husband. 🥹 She was fed up and knew that she needed to escape for the sake of herself and her son. Gathering the courage to leave, she makes a hasty exit. Realizing that she needed rest from all that occurred that day, she pulls over to take a quick nap, only to be awakened and brought to a clubhouse for safety against her will.
Arrow is initially angry when he sees this woman's battered face and immediately goes into protection mode. Cecelia doesn't understand why this stranger wants to help her and doesn't trust his intentions as she has been burned before. With Arrow's stature and intimidating demeanor, she has not choice by to comply.
Arrow takes to Cecelia and Hendrix claiming them as his own on day one, without knowing anything about them. She reminds him of his mother, triggering him in a way that makes him want to give her everything. Cecelia takes a while to believe that Arrow's intentions are genuine and allows herself to finally lean into what is growing between them.
It was crazy how they found out how they were all connected, but glad that Arrow and the guys took care of what needed to happen to ensure Cecelia's safety. Nice read.
Babes, this one didn’t waste a single second getting into the mess—and I was here for every bit of it. From the jump, I was locked in. Cecilia (or “Charlie Brown,” girl stop playin’) was running for her life, literally. She thought she was just gonna stop and catch her breath? Nope. She ran right into Arrow—and he was not playin' with her at all.
Arrow was on her neck from the second they met, but not in a bad way. You could tell he was dangerous, but protective at the same time. That man looked at Cecilia and her baby and was just like, yeah, they mine now. I LOVE that kind of energy. He ain’t need to say too much—he was about that action from the beginning.
What really got me though? The way Arrow didn’t just step up for her, he stepped in. Took her son like his own, didn’t flinch once. And don’t get me started on the brotherhood in the club—those men stood behind Arrow like family should.
Cecilia’s growth in this story was real. You could see her slowly peeling back the fear and stepping into who she was meant to be—and that made me root for her even harder. This wasn’t just a love story, it was survival, protection, healing—and a little bit of spice too, okay!
So yeah… this one right here? Add that to your TBR!
Absolutely loved Cecelia and Arrow together. Her bravery in doing what needed to be done to protect her son paid off big time and landed her straight into the arms of her happily ever after. She rightfully fought him on it at first (because fear) but over time saw that he was different and true to his word. I loved watching their love slowly (but quickly) develop over time. And the way they were about Hendrix? Swoon. This book was full of fun banter. Boss & Arrow are a hilarious brother duo and I’d love to see more of them. I think the ending was a bit anticlimactic with her facing her ex but it’s all good. I still really enjoyed this.
Arrow was such a good man. Before reading check the trigger warnings about DV. Even though this was a short read I didn’t feel like it was rush. I smiled soo much once the MFC started to let her guard down and became her true self around the club brothers and Arrow. The plot twist I wasn’t expecting but it was a good one.
Cecelia endured so much for so long and she finally got away. Helix was just what she and Hendrix needed. Izzy had me wanting to drop her on her neck. The desperation was at an all time high.
“Charlie” I was so happy she got away from that man and for a whole 2 months. I was hoping they’d kill her “ex best friend”. lol I couldn’t stand her. Arrow is a hero. I love how from jump he protected her and baby boy. This story had a hell of a twist I didn’t see coming.

The first sentence of this book immediately made me want to whoop some ass cause who tf he think he talking to? Gideon was added to my shit list expeditiously. By the end of the first half of chapter one, I was cheering for Cecilia like I was cheering for Tina in “What’s Love Got to Do with It?”
Cecilia’s personality really blossomed when she got away from Gideon, and it came out fully once she became comfortable. Cecilia was very witty and would be with the shits. She became my friend in my head and Baby Hendrix was my nephew lol.
Arrow and Cecilia were some very mature and emotionally intelligent characters. Arrow drew attention to how bizarre it would be for Cecilia to go from her situation with Gideon to a relationship with someone as direct and somewhat authoritative as himself and proceeded with caution. Arrow also made his feelings for Cecilia be known while giving her the space and opportunity she needed to grow. I also liked that Cecilia acknowledged that that’s what she needed without someone telling her it is.
The scenes between Arrow and Cecilia were really cute to read, and Cecilia being loved on properly made my heart smile. The same goes for any scene with Arrow and Baby Hendrix.
The fall of Gideon was so satisfying to read. I won’t give much away, but I will say I liked how Arrow handled things. Also, Gideon’s job title surprised tf out of me. I assumed this 🥷🏾 was a mayor or something local because there was no way he could be acting like he was acting with a greater title 😒
Anyway, I hope Arrow, Cecilia and Baby Hendrix are still living their best lives in Erika B.’s head and that Gideon, his stepdaddy, Nicky, and Helen are rotting in hell☺️
The author's Trigger Warning and disclaimer set the stage perfectly, so I was able to go into it fully informed about what was to come and proceed accordingly. Never a fan of DV scenes, so knowing when to skim was very helpful. Aside from that, I liked these characters. Cecilia was treated terribly for way too long by so many people, mainly her husband but karma made sure she got her lick back and I loved that for her! Aarow came into her life in such an unexpected way but stood ten toes down behind her and Hendrix from day one and that made my heart smile for her, because finally someone didn't mistreat her. This storyline held my attention and I love that the author didn't use miscommunication as her plot. These characters communicated very well and talked through issues very quickly- in a mature way. The love and protection of the biker brothers was also very endearing. I was pleasantly surprised how much I liked that Aarow used an alternate method for his unalivings too. That was original. Overall, although a difficult topic was broached, love and genuine care eclipsed that and made for an enjoyable read. There we're several typos which kept it from a 5star rating, bit it was still quite entertaining and I enjoyed reading it.
I hate to say it, but it has been a while since I read an Erika B's work of art. Ms. Erika B, your growth is showing on each one of the pages in this book. I love to see an author grow and master their purpose.
Now, let's get into this book, bae. Helix is also known as Arrow. A real man is one who doesn't question when a woman and child are in distress. Arrow came to Cecilia rescue and did not take his foot off the accelerator until he made her his. He also avenged all the years of verbal, physical, and mental abuse Cecilia went through. Cecilia ex got all that he deserved for treating her like he did. Arrow took her child as his own and told his brother that was his nephew. He rebuilt the self-confidence in Cecilia one act at a time.
This work of art is something you will want to indulge in. It does address some issues that could elevate different emotions, so get prepared. However, it is well-written. So grab your copy today. I just skimmed and somewhat summarized, but you want to read every line and every word in this book. It is worth it.
Helix ‘Arrow’ Miller, Arrow is the muscle of the Riding Rebels MC. His path crosses with Cecilia ‘Charlie Brown’ Baxter as she is fleeing the latest DV incident at the hands of her husband Gideon. Despite these two being an unlikely pair they find themselves continuously drawn to one another. While working to keep her safe, Arrow uncovers an unexpected connection between the two. However, by then he's in too deep emotionally. Cecilia and Hendrix have imbedded themselves into his heart and he vows to keep them both safe forever. Ultimately, these two allowed themselves to embrace the attraction and lean into what could be.
Izzy -couldnt get the picture and I was shocked at her past behaviors and why she continued to push her self on Arrow. Hendrix Miller- big brother to Arrow and definitely showed him protective nature as well as his goofy side. Gideon - Karma was served! Hendrix/Helix's dad was a horrible individual and got what he deserved.

Cecelia was in an endless cycle of dominance by a small man with big ambitions. Running was the only thing that would save her and her son from hell. What she didn't realize is that her pulling over to get some rest pushed her right into her destiny. Arrow was truly a man of his word, honorable, and her knight with a quiver full of arrows. This man immediately took her and her son and said "y'all mine." Unlike Gideon, Arrow was a man of his word and about that life. Not realizing that there was a connection that was deeper than either expected. I think this may have been my favorite of the BLP MC's Arrow was that dude and was definitely giving Alpha/Boss vibes while being a total cinnamon roll for Charlie Brown!😂😂 Happy Reading Y'all!💋
Although this book is very short, I feel that the author gave more than enough in this story. The character development was thorough because the FMC and the MMC had shown so much growth by the end. Cecilia aka Charlie had a horrific story that unfortunately mirrors many people's lives .The mental, physical, and emotional abuse she suffered was horrendous and gruesome, much like the agony Arrow went through. Gideon was the worst of the worst like his father. Thankfully that generational curse ended with him. I love the relationship Arrow has with Boss and little Hendrix. This book was wonderfully written, and I have to find more by this author. I just wish this book turned I to a series of it's own.
Arrow: Riding Rebels MC (BLP Motorcycle Club Book 8)
Okay, so I love soft kidnappings. And these motorcycle baes are what's up. Arrow, Arrow, Arrow. Love him and all his big gentleness. When a man shows up for a woman he doesn't know is alright in my book. Arrow didn't know Cecilia from a can of paint, but he knew she needed him. Seeing her battered and bruised struck a cord and he knew that he had to protect her. However, finding out she was tied to his father, stepmother, and stepbrother changed the game. Arrow made sure that she would no longer live in fear.
Arrow rescued Cecilia and Hendrix from the side of the road and knew from that moment that she would not leaving him. Izzy was okay with Cecilia being their until she realized that Arrow was interested in her. Arrow wanted no parts of Izzy. However, Cecelia and Hendrix had become a very important part of his life. It took Cecilia a minute to open up due to her past, but she eventually let Arrow in. The both of them fell fast and hard. Cecilia not only had Arrows protection, but that of his MC brothers. Getting rid of both of their pasts together brought them closer. Great read!
I absolutely loved the way Arrow displayed his love all while helping her to heal from her past trauma. Fate stepped in bringing these two together who would have known that they had so much in common, so their paths were meant to cross. Izzy was indeed sick to be messing with the dad and son betraying the son to steal from him then want to be back together but Arrow put and kept her in her place but Cecilia even though a little jealous didn't allow Izzy to see it and through everything she got a new start, A man showing her what love truly is and a family that will stand behind them.
I enjoyed this story and seeing Cecilia be loved by Arrow after suffering through so much abuse with her husband. I appreciated Arrow’s protectiveness toward Cecilia and Hendrix. I also liked that neither of them allowed for their trauma to keep them apart. The only question I was left with at the end was how the disappearance of Cecilia’s husband and father in law were explained especially with her husband having such a high profile job. All in all, I thought this was a good read and nice addition to this series.
Arrow and Cecilia, Running to Your Love After the Pain
I absolutely loved this book, from the 1st page to the last!!!… I was so proud of Cecilia, because it take a lot of strength to walk away from someone that tears down every single thing in you!!!!…Yet, this woman continued to think of ways to get it done and Baby Henny was that motivation!!!… Arrow was a protector and I love how he took to both Cecilia and Baby Henny!!!…He showed her how a woman should be treated, loved and respected!!!… This book will take you on a ride and will touch your emotional parts too!!!…
This standalone is lit. Arrow is a beast, especially when it comes to women getting beat up on by a man. His sperm donor got what he deserved for killing they momma over a no-good side chick. And babygirl husband is a coward for doing her like that for seven years. That Helen chick should have gotten way more than a slap. U did good on yet another book and I'm looking forward to reading more of them. Sitting here patting my feet while sipping on Pepsi and while eating popcorn while waiting on the next book.
Hats off to you, Cecilia, for finding a way out. Not many come out of a situation in which you found yourself in, but I am happy you found strength in your title as "mother."
Arrow, you sexy demon. If crash out was a person, it was you. The fact that you admitted to your actions at the end made it even sexier. The way your support Cecilia had me swooning. That revenge was a sweet thing.
This is a fast paced love story and I loved every minute of it. Arrow and all his BDE , set sights on Ceccilia and Hendrix and didn’t let up. I’m glad Beyah finally let love in and allowed Arrow to love on her and her son like she deserved to be loved!! Gideon and Governor Baxter got exactly what they deserved, but the wife got off too easy if u ask me!!! Five Stars Ms. Baxter!!!
Whe. I read this book I was laughing a lot because why would Cecilia say her name is Charlie Brown now everyone know that a fake name because who hasn’t hear of it and arrow was look at her like don’t lie about you name because if you going to lie at least make it believable . Arrow really was like you are not going anywhere unless you tell me the truth about where u been it was so crazy and funny. 10 /10 will recommend you read
Aarow is theeeeee man. I loved everything about his character and how he catered to Charlie aka Cecelia. She was running from her past and who knew she would run into a man who would protect her. Although she had reservations about staying, Hendrix sealed the deal for Cecelia to stay a little longer with Aarow. And when the time was right he proved to protect them at any cost. Definitely a good read
What's For You Is For You Erika B, such a good read. What the devil meant for evil God means for good. I love Arrow's heart he knew what was needed. Cecilia was so strong in my opinion, she overcame things many folk wouldn't try to do. With surprise meeting and twists and turns this read will have you wanting to read fast on one hand and wanting to never stop on the other. 🤗🤗🤗🤗
I’m not gonna lie. I’m all tapped out on these MC club books but because I like the author I read this one. The plot was well worth it! Cecelia found her protection and forever in Arrow.
I enjoyed this book so much. I love the way Arrow loved on Cecelia and protected her. I love the way Boss and Arrow lived on Hendrix. I wouldn't mind an update on them or Boss finding love.
This was a fascinating love story. It T kept me on the edge of my seat. Domestic abuse was wrong . Cecilia had know ideal the pain she had to endure from all the beatings she took. Arrow needed to be saved, an she was able to do it. Excellent read !!!
DV is the hurtful secret that women8 endure and seldom are rescued. To read about a knight on shiny chrome rescuing and rejuvenating a fallen sister makes for a great story and inspiration.
