From the #1 best-selling author of the ANNIHILATE ME series and the UNLEASH ME series, comes Christina Ross' hottest book yet--and her first stand-alone novel! One night with him awakened my senses. One more night with him threw everything into question. Everything I thought I knew about myself. My name is Abby Evans. I was raised by a God-fearing mother determined to turn me into the good girl she always wanted me to be. For twenty-five years, she succeeded. Until the one night she didn’t. That night, I had a one-night stand with a stranger. And already I can sense something within me that wants to break free.

I received a free ARC for an honest review!! I loved the story of Chance and Abby and can't wait to read more about them. Great story but then I am not surprise. If you read Annialate Me and Unleash Me, you would know that whatever Christina Ross writes keeps you entranced!!!!!!

Grad student Abby Evans meets Chance Caldwell while serving cocktails at a Manhattan Charity gala. As they meet, they each feel an immediate connection which Chance is very eager to explore further. Abby, on the other hand, is very reluctant to explore the connection, especially when she hears that Chance does not live in Manhattan (although he permanently maintains a pent house suite at the prestigious Plaza Hotel).
Chance convinces Abby to have drinks with him after the gala is over. As sparks start flying, Chance campaigns for more and willingly tackles Abby's issues. Will he succeed? Read this book to find out!
Although Ms. Ross has written this as a stand alone book, with two other stand alone books for Elle and Brooke, I sincerely hope that these will evolve into a prolonged series as has her previous series, Annihilate Me and Unleash Me.

Good read

This is a good read if you've not already read the annihilate me / unleash me series, the story itself was enjoyable but far too similar to Jennifer & Lisa as in ratty apartment, secondhand air con, everyone in New York drinks Martini's, even same sex scenes in all three. Just a bit boring in those instances. But I do enjoy the writing & the humour.
Still recommend the read though.

Kind of a star crossed lovers story!

Reminded me of the above headline, he is a self made billionaire, she is a waitress at a high society party working two jobs to finish college. They meet fall in love and live happily ever after!! Recommend with a 5 Stars rating

Oh wow! It was that good!! Loved the directness of both characters especially Chance. From the first chapter…maybe even the first page- I was hooked. My first time reading this author and I’m looking forward to more of her work.

I don’t know what to say!

I loved the book and the buildup of their feelings so quickly but then it was just over. It ended right when there was so much more to say. I would’ve loved to see more of their future. I feel cheated.

This is my first Christina Ross book I've read and my first impression was..meh. I realize that it can be a challenge to pack intense chemistry and romance into 200+ pages and when the storyline occurs in just two days. The plot feels rushed form beginning to end. Abby is a grad student working two jobs currently living in a crummy apartment with her two best friends when she happens to cross paths with a handsome mysterious man who literally catches her when she's falling. Of course he's a billionaire but he's more than his wealth which is why he strongly connects with Abby. A one night stand becomes 2 and in that time they both realize that they want more.

I am a huge fan of HEAs and this one is definitely straight to the point. No real mystery and very little conflict. Other than having a very religious upbringing that creates so much inner conflict for Abby. I was surprised at how she managed to stay focused on what Chance was doing to her while thinking about what her mom would think as opposed to what he aunt would think. Sexual encounters were definitely hot but footsies under the table in a diner was a little odd especially when its the guy who's doing it and she's wearing jeans. I would imagine that would take a lot more work but I guess he's just that good hehe.

I usually like to get to know characters in a book and have their story build up to a beautiful climactic happily every after, but this felt like I was listening to a conversation full of inside jokes and then having someone explain it to me or getting the complicated "it's a long story" explanation. I guess i didn't feel as connected and didn't have enough time to fall in love with Abby and Chance. I understand that this story continues onto the next room mate because that's basically how the book ends as it introduces the next guy as her old flame.

OH MY GOODNESS!!!! Christina did it again, as she always does. First off, let me say I was one of the lucky ones that was able to get an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I started this book this morning and have just finished. My heart is beating so fast for a number of reasons. One being that the book is over and I don't want it to be a stand alone novel. I need a another couple of books on Chance and Abby. I was 100% hooked by the end of the 1st chapter. PLEASE, Christina, give me more on them. Another reason my heart is beating so fast as I am so anxious to see what happnes between Aiden and Elle!!!
I have been a huge fan of Christina's since her Annihilate Me books and the Unleash Me Series. I highly suggest these books and now I can HIGHLY suggest Chance.
Abby is a character I could easily understand and even relate to. Chance is just such a great guy and I know Christina could do so much with these two characters and I honestly feel that most everyone that reads this book will hope that she does the same. The story was great, I felt, and I can't wait to read Aiden.

I realize I'm in the minority here, but I was not as enthused with this book as some of my fellow readers. I didn't dislike it and I wouldn't recommend someone pass it by, but for me it lacked spirit and personality and the main female character just became tiresome. I kept hoping for more of a "developing story" instead of all the negative conversations about the affair, what to do about it and how to feel about it. It just dragged me down. The male main character was likable but annoyed be also. Honestly, no one has the time and patience to battle through all the negativity and concrete barriers someone throws at you the first 48 hrs you meet them that this man did. Just wouldn't happen.. it would diminish the appeal of establishing a relationship. Their conversations seemed forced and clumsy with needing to qualify and explain everything said. I suppose I just did not feel their connection.

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of Chance for an honest review and honestly... I thought the Annihilate Me and Unleash Me series was AWESOME but Chance was just as intense, passionate and hot!

Chance, the first book in The One More Night series by Christina Ross is a supremely well-written super hot and sexy read. Abby and Chance have a chemistry that leaps off the page. You can feel the sexual tension between them and you find yourself unable to put the damn book down. This story is so freaking hot, you'll be left in a puddle of lust.

They say that somethings in life are worth fighting for and that is exactly what this book is about... that despite all the obstacles, it could lead to the most amazing things.

I loved this book couldn't put it down. Abby is working at a charity event as a waitress. When she is about to deliver her drink orders to the guests she trips on a womans dress and almost spills the drinks but thanks to a handsome man named Chance she doesn't spill them. After spending a one night stand with Chance she leaves, but he calls her asking to see her again. Abby has a hard time deciding what to do because she doesn't want to disappoint her mother but on the other hand she wants to be like her aunt and enjoy her life while she is young. Chance is willing to do anything to be with Abby, but he gets frustrated everytime she makes excuses. After talking to her best friends Elle and Brook, Abby realises the mistake she made and will do anything to get Chance back.

I received a free ARC for an honest review. I have read all of Christina Ross's books and have loved every single one of them. I loved their story, only wish the story didn't end so quickly. I know she will somehow connect their story in Aiden and Eric. I look forward to her next part of this series. Christina is a fabulous writer and we are lucky to be invited into her fabulous mind!!!

I enjoyed the book, but hated the abrupt ending. It caught my attention and held it, but I have issues when the main character is overly stubborn in their thinking. However, I am looking forward to reading the next two books in this series.

Whew! This book was hot. And even though I enjoyed it, I felt like it needed more at the end. The end felt abrupt but maybe there will be a little more in the next book, Aiden.
