Conflicted. Felt like this went off in a different direction than 1. Not bad, but I’m still undecided on it. Skye didn’t reference any of the physical pain/training and her reliance or reaction to it that was in the end of book 1 – this seemed like a missed opportunity to tie the books together perhaps? Four is back, which I loved, but the other 3 were absent. Some of this felt a little too close to excuses for the atrocities in book 1 maybe?? See – conflicted. I still loved Skye (and Four, sick girl that I am). And I will definitely pick up book 3 when it is out. I hope that will be a longer, novel-sized one too that really rounds out the characters and storyline. Penfist has a wicked way with words that I just love!

I didn't find these two novelettes as disturbing as the warning suggested, maybe that says something about me. In any event, I loved The Warehouse and the second installment, Abandoned. I thoroughly enjoyed the author's storytelling and his writing skills excellent. Both stories are well written and the characters intriguing. I am anxiously waiting for the final installment Love and War. Hurry, hurry, hurry!

I really need book 3...I need more of four, I need answer's. Book 2 got me going and wanting to what was happing. In Brazil she remembered what four had been whispering in her head all that time in the warehouse and it did save her life. Man where is book 3? It's killing me here...great read..loved it:)

I loved this installment as it takes you on yet another roller coaster ride. I wanted Skye to win and get back to Number Four but somehow I knew that the nice guy was trouble. And as in the first Warehouse installment it leaves you hanging. Another beautifully written tale that paints such a vivid picture that you never want to put it down. I can't wait to read the next one.

There are times when you finish a book and you think....Author I hate you! How dare you leave the story hanging like that?! It is the sign of a good book. And a good author, who toys with his readers as much as Number 4 is playing with Skye.

I didn't just like this book, I loved it.

The writer takes you on a journey that you never expected when you embark.

The story unfurls and takes you to some place else entirely. Fantastic read and can't wait to see where we are taken next.

I won't give a spoiler because, if you know me, I hate the things 'cos they SPOIL it. I don't like to know what will happen next when I am watching a film at the pictures and I DON'T want a spoiler for the book I am reading.
