Sometimes, we make reckless choices just to feel alive.

Grayson Ford hasn’t spoken a word in years, his life shattered after losing the one person he cared for most. Each day, he sits in silence, staring out his window, just surviving. Until one fateful night, he glimpses a mysterious woman across the street—a fleeting vision of beauty that stirs something within him.

Haunted by her image, Grayson searches every corner of Meadowlark to find her, a relentless quest that leads him to a secluded mental asylum. He learns she’s a patient there after visiting a counselor recommended to him. Driven by an unbreakable desire, Grayson makes the ultimate sacrifice. He checks himself in, surrendering his freedom to win her heart.

Two days too long! It took me two days to finish only because I have a job. This was the best book I have read in a long time. From the first sentence to the last, it gripped me and didn’t let go! The pain and suffering of losing someone you love does not go away. What that pain does to you can change your life forever. Without spoilers, this story touches the deep part of your heart, soul and pshyche.

Whoa! What a twisty ride. I can say I didn’t see that ending coming. I was so damn engrossed in the story that I was taken aback.

Ward 19 is a dark and emotional story about a man placed in a psychiatric ward after trying to take his own life.

This book is sad, thought-provoking, and really makes you question what's real and what's imagined. It's a powerful read about mental health and loneliness with an ending you won't forget.
