I love these stories!

Jaycee and her momma are going shopping this spring. I love shopping, don’t you?

Then she’s busy helping out her friend Nancy for awhile, who has a sick child. That’s okay… Dash is busy helping out at the Hamilton farm in the afternoons.

When Jaycee’s best friend, Kitty, arrives in town, Jaycee knows something is wrong, but it takes awhile for Kitty to confide in her friend. And, of course, I’m not gonna tell you anything else. After all, I don’t want to spoil the story for you.

So now you have them all… now go get them — you can get a digital copy of each book… or you can get a paperback of the 4-book series. Then, grab a glass of sweet tea, and sit back and read them… and don’t stop until you’re at the end of book 4.

Happy Reading!

The finale of this series couldn’t have been more perfect. The people that we are at the beginning of our journey are not the same ones that cross the finish line. We are refined, we are transformed, and we are made whole under His blessings, His guidance, and His wisdom. His plan for us is light years better than any plans that we have for ourselves. When we will learn to fully and completely trust Him and follow His lead? He only wants to love us, lift us up, and shower us with every good thing we will allow Him to. We are the only limitation in this equation. We are the ones who stop Him from making us into the person He created us to be. Just let all the worry, the frustrations, and the pain go. Allow Him to take that all away and replace it with His peace, joy, and hope. You will never be the same again.

Jaycee and Dash are the midst of preparing for their up-coming wedding, and as usual Jaycee is caught up in all of the details. She wants everything to be perfect, but all Dash wants is to hear her say “I do” on that day. As with life in general, nothing stands still and life never goes as planned. Jaycee finds that more than just her wedding is vying for her attention. Will Dash be able to help ground, calm, and refocus her like he usually does, or will she allow these external circumstances to steal her joy?

Just as an artist take a blank canvas and paints a masterpiece on it, He wants to take our lives and turn us into His masterpiece – a walking extension and example of Him here on Earth. We are to be His heart ministering to those around us. Only when we humble ourselves and freely give ourselves to Him and His will can we be made into powerful instruments of His message of love and grace. In the midst of the chaos around her, Jaycee finally realizes that God has molded and shaped and changed her from the inside out. She no longer wants what she used to, and she understands what is really important and meaningful to her. What she would have lost makes her more grateful and thankful for the way that God took her dreams and reconstructed them to lead her to where she is now. She is right where she belongs, and she wouldn’t trade it for anything.

No matter how many books I read by Laura J Marshall, she never ceases to touch my heart in a new and refreshing way. Her characters while light and witty at times will have you contemplating life in a new light, and they always make a lasting impression that will leave you deep in thought afterwards. Her stories are uplifting and will make you cry and laugh all while learning more about our wonderful Creator and just how much He loves us. You will walk away with a peace that cannot be put into words and a heart that is a little more open and humble then it was before.

Laura J. Marshall perfectly captures the slow pace and gentle manner of the south in this series of books. The characters are extremely likeable. Though the stories are short, you come to know each one. She's a master of description, taking you into the backwoods of Twain, Georgia, and making you part of the family. Book four was a perfect ending to a lovely series that I highly recommend.
