I loved this short story about Ava and Will. This book is about everyday real life of what a marriage and or relationship is all about. Sacrifices and needs for one another. Never take for granted your relationship. No one ever said it would be a piece of cake, but you've got to fight for what you want. Ava and Will did just that. They have great friends and loving children, but sometimes you just need to put a little more spice into your life. Gearing up for their 10th Anniversary Ava decides to plan a special surprise for her hardworking husband. Will has been wound up as tight as a tick and is relieved to spend a weekend away with his beautiful wife in more ways than one.... Be sure to pick up this fabulous short story.. You won't be disappointed. Can't wait for the next one.

I listened to the audiobook and the narrator did a good job. I enjoyed this quick listen well rounded listen. The author did a good job making such a short story feel complete.

This is a short, hot, sweet, romance. I recommend this for adults only. This is the first book in The Éveiller Collection. This can be read as a stand alone but it flows with the up coming books in this series, the six women who are also neighbors in this series are the best of friends. The first book is about Ava, she is determined to save her marriage. She wants to put the spark back into her marriage, well really the bedroom. This is an awesome example that sometimes stepping outside of your comfort zone is exactly what is needed. And materialistic things are not more important than your loved ones. I can not wait to read more.
This is Avas story. Ava is a stay at home mom, with a hectic schedule. She waits all week for one day to spend with her best friends, they are her sanity. The circle of friends share their happiness, sorrows, discuss options and help each other anyway they can. Ave has a situation, she has been married to Will going on ten years now, and she is desperate to rekindle the fire in their marriage. She is hoping that this anniversary she will be able to surprise him with a weekend getaway, get some alone time, maybe fulfill some fantasies. With her friends' help with babysitting, she is anxious to rock Will's world.
Will this help their marriage? Or will she see things for what they truly are?

I found an immediate connection within the first few words of this book. How many times have you had coffee with your girlfriends, get to talking and realize that you are not the only victim of life taking over your marriage? You have kids, they have needs - you're the nucleus to your family and somehow the intimate relationship you once had with your significant other just goes south. It's so damn frustrating!
This is exactly what happened to Ava and Will. Thank God Ava had her coffee club group of girlfriend neighbors to commiserate with but still, the romance for her and Will was non-existent. Their lovemaking sessions were few and far between. I love how the author made you feel like you were there...having a cup of coffee sharing your deepest thoughts with a group of ladies who are in the exact same predicament.
Ava takes the first step and steps outside her box - her comfort zone. I adore her for throwing it all out there and doing something she's not comfortable with to save her marriage and rekindle the romance that was once there.
Our men need for us to take the reigns and become little sexy vixens. Ava did just that - plus she had worked her butt off with her jewelry business saving her money and surprised Will by letting him know that his little 'wifey' was also a successful entrepreneur who was stashing her money away for a rainy day. I love how the romance ignited with their little getaway and I was cheering for them to get things back on track. This is a really cute but sexy hot story it’s the first in a series of a few books that tell a story of neighbors who are good friends and each have their own set of issues in the bringing spice back to their marriages. The women all come up with a great plan so each book will tell each of the couples stories.
This book is about Ava and Will. Will loves his wife very much but after getting a promotion at work he is now working more hours and is never home. He misses his family and hates his job but doesn’t know what to do about it. Ava does what ever housewife does .She takes care of her family but also has a small jewelry business she runs and it has taken off pretty good. So after the weekly meeting with her girlfriends she decides to use some of her money to setup a weekend getaway for her and Will. One of her neighbors is keeping the kids and Ava sets things in motion.
This book to me is a great eye opener to many married couples who find themselves in this type of rut after having kids and working long hours.. MAKE TIME for the ones you love is basically what it is all about.
Well that’s all I am giving you on this story. I will say their weekend getaway could melt a many pages !! Very good story !! Pickup your copy and get reading..

This is the first book in the Eveiller series by author Melanie James. This group of stories is about several couples who are neighbors and friends on Eveiller Drive. This is Ava and Will's story. After 10 years of marriage, your life with your mate can change, especially having children and the responsibility that brings. That's what happened to Ava and Will. Will is constantly busy with his new promotion, a job he dislikes but feels he needs to do to bring in more money for his family. Ava is busy running the household, taking care of the children and everyday stuff and has some respite running her jewelry business. Every Tuesday morning the ladies of Eveiller drive meet for coffee and breakfast. During their breakfast the women of Eveiller Drive decide to take back the romance in their marriages. They decide the first to start is Ava. With her 10th anniversary coming up, Ava puts the plans in motion to reconnect with her husband. This is a wonderful hot and steamy read. It relates to all couples who have been married for awhile and get caught up in their everyday life and forget to take time with each other. A book I believe couples can enjoy together to bring back some spice in their life! Looking forward to the next one and sharing it with my husband!

I am giving this review for author Melanie James. This is part 1 of a 6 part series Eveiller Drive by the author.
In every day life after you get married your life changes and you get more responsibility as time goes on. Couples can drift apart and not have enough time for each other or for their families. After almost 10 years of marriage Ava and Will are having problems being able to spend time together so the girls Tuesday get together bunch figure out a way to help each other out to try and put some spark back into their marriage.
The story line was flawless from start to finish and the way the characters interacted with one another it was so real. This was a very good read.
This is a short story by the author but it packs lots of heat in the pages. This is a romance for mature readers because of sexual content and language. I can't wait to see what part 2 brings.

This is a short, sexy story about how life, responsibilities and children push romance out of a marriage...Well, Ava has had enough, she plans a most erotic weekend get away for her and Will's tenth anniversary. Will has also been feeling the strain because of the promotion at work that brought in more money was supposed to make things better for them, has left him no time for his family or his wife. He hates the job. He misses his wife. Well, this weekend they each have a surprise for each other beside the great sex that rekindles their marriage and devotion for each other.

This is a short story that will get your juices a pumping.. Short and spicy... What I liked most about this steamy little story is that the story is not about new relationships, it about marriages of years trying to start the fire again.. Ava and Will has hit a rough spot in their marriage. Will is working a job with long frustrating hours that drains the life out of him and makes him cranky.. Ava takes care of the house, kids and tiptoes around him for months will she find her courage to seduce her husband, will Will find time from his busy job for his wife??? I defiantly recommend this steamy little story and cannot wait to see if the others will reconnect their marriages...

This is a great steamy short read. Each book in this series will cover a couple on Eveiller Drive. Ava is afraid her marriage to Will is falling apart. There is no passion left. Her friends agree to watch the kids for a weekend so Ava can change that. Ava takes charge and brings the passion back. Even though this book was a fun read it is true to life about how it is work to keep a marriage going. As always even though this was a short story Melanie does a great job of developing her characters and storyline. She puts plenty of steamy romance into it also. Can't wait to read the others couples stories.

Looking for a short read with lots of steamy sex? If so this is the book for you. This story deals with everyday problems. Maybe you are looking to add more spice to your love life. This story will definitely help you there. Will and Ava were married 9 years and somewhere along the way they lost themselves, so with their 10th anniversary just around the corner Ava plans a weekend getaway for just the 2 if them. During that time they were able to find time for just them, and were able to become whole once again. I am looking forward to see what Melanie has in store for the other 5 couples.

What an awesome Hot short story! I loved yhe truth about how you have to work at your marriage, especially after kids. For these wonderful group of women to band together to take charge was great! You have to be open and honest with your wants and needs. Loved the hot sex scenes and can't wait to read about more of the other couples!

there is not a book that melanie has written that i do not love! this is a short, hot, sweet book and it is so true to life! i love how the quiet, meek leading lady planned her and her husbands hot anniversary weekend! i cannot wait to read the next book in this series!!

Ava and Will are any couple you may know. Happy with kids, their relationship has become a little strained. Will works constantly and Ava is home with the kids. Coming up on their 10th anniversary, they both have some surprises. This is the first book in the Eveiller Drive series and I love it! Melanie James has written a real life couples story that is not only steamy, but has elements we all can understand. I love how these two compromise to make their life even better. It's what a relationship is all about and James captures it perfectly. I am loving the friendships the women have too!
Hollie Jackson narrates this series, and she is fantastic. She has such a great catalog of voices and brings them to life with all the women and Will. She has a great pace and reads a wonderful story. I enjoyed her performance.

Cute Story
Can't believe I have missed these little stories about rebuilding your love life. We always seem to get lost in our day to day lives and forget about the person that makes these lives possible. The one we love.
I love how Ava comes out of her shell and how Will truly does appreciate her for all she does. Perfect love story.

This is book one in this series and gives a little background. I think this story covers a loathe portion of married people. I’m glad Ava and Will still have that spark for each other. I did listen to this on audio.

This is the first book in a series about 6 women from different backgrounds living on Éveiller Drive, not only are they neighbors but they become steadfast friends. They meet together once a week for coffee and to vent about whatever issues they are experiencing in their marriage. Like so many couples now days, they've set their needs aside only to concentrate on their children, jobs, and bills. However, they all have one common problem, how do they bring spice back to their marriage? The women come up with a game plan. They will each take turns to watch each other’s children so the couple will have some “Adult” time alone to spice things up. They all agree Ava should be first!
This book is the story of Ava and Will. Ava is a loving housewife. She takes care of her family but also has a thriving successful Jewelry business on the side. She has been walking on eggshells for months because her husband has been cranky lately and she doesn’t know why. Will loves his wife and family but after getting a promotion at work which he hates and make him cranky he is now working longer hours and never seems to have time for his wife or kids. Ava and her friends decide she should go away for the weekend for their 10th Anniversary to spark a flame back in their love life! You’ll have to read to find out if they have a HEA!
Although it was a short story, it was fast paced and included a lot of hot steamy sex scenes that had your blood pumping! This book is short and sweet. I loved it. It has a lot of sweet moments and lots of sexy sex for such a short book.

I was so excited to get and read this book! Once again Melanie James brings us something so different from everything else she has wrote! This is a short story but it is a story that most housewives and moms can relate to! Ava is a mom and a wife, but her marriage is not perfect like most of ours are not. Her sex life is what is suffering. Ava and her friends all come together to help each other out by taking turns watching each others kids so they can focus on rebuilding the sexual chemistry with their spouses. This book leaves you wanting more and counting down the days until all the books are out! I can not wait to see how each relationship turns out! Ava & Will get 5 stars!!! Worth so much more!

This is a short novella about a married couple in need of reconnecting with each other. They spend a weekend away to reconnect and celebrate their wedding anniversary. This book is one that any married woman can relate to because at some point in a relationship, life gets the best of you and starts to create a bit of distance. Ava took initiative and brought them back together again. I love this book. LOVE IT. It is well written, fast paced, characters you can easily relate to and steamy. I can't wait to dive into the rest of this series.

The coffee klatch of Eveiller street is not your uninvolved little get together. But the women who attend have one thing is common, marriages in need of help. The woman set out to see if they can't help and encourage one another. As it's Ava and Will's anniversary, they get the first shot at seeing if something can't be done. Here is where I stop. It's about growth and change in both directions. Grab a copy, sit down with a cup of something and enjoy.

Captivating, Steamy, and over all amazing.. three ways to describe this first book in the new series by Melanie James.
When you be married for as long as this couple, and you have been following the same routine change can be scary. But sometimes change is all you need to rekindle the fire. Definitely a Must read. Can't wait to see what comes next for the rest of the group in this series.

This book was so needed. I wanted to relate to this couple. I find myself needing a get away with my husband. The story helps couples gain back that since of romance they had in their marriage in the beginning. I like the idea of having good friends to help you out when there is a need. sometimes it takes a weekend away from everything to remember what's missing. I thought the book was very good and moving.

I throughly enjoyed this first installmentto a Hot series. I look forward to listening to them all.
