Jacqueline grew up in the rural southeast and is the youngest child of a large and rowdy family. Reading was an escape when there wasn't much else around to do. She loves everything from classical literature to true crime and everything in between.
With a day job, and pursuing her dream job of writing, she plots a steamy combination of real life and what if...and then characters come along and completely derail the plan. Letting them have their say provides plenty of sleepless nights and an endless combination of coffee and wine, but she hopes you enjoy their stories.
This was an interesting read, but it was ok to me. I enjoyed the twists and turns it had, it was an erotic thriller suspense story that many who like this genre can enjoy. Catherine is our heroine she is convinced she needs to find her parents, as she is an orphan. Max is her stalker, he’s contracted to keep an eye on her and report back. During this time he falls for her and when he and Catherine finally meet they can’t deny the attraction. But he has secrets….. I enjoyed it, and I recommend it to fans of the genre. Jacqueline’s writing and story telling abilities are great.
Reviewed by Chief Spammer Fear: You Can Run or You Can Fight by Jacqueline Sinclair Rating: 5/5 This is an erotic novel that is intended for a mature audience only. I loved the story line of this book, I was expecting the typical erotic book and I was pleasantly surprised. This book is about Catherine and her stalker Max. Catherine is an orphan desperate to find her parents and her true identity. Her best friend was her only outlet to her real self and faced with the abuse of foster homes, he kills himself. Now years later, working in a firm she doesn't seem to be getting any closer to finding out her true identity, until Max comes along and saves her from being raped by a drunk outside of a bar. Max is an ex-con, sweet in nature, and always calls Catherine princess. Max is hired to watch her and keep tabs on her. He falls in love with her and unable to control himself, he gives in and they have a very strong connection. This book had some amazing turns and it was definitely a thriller! I liked how it all came to a full circle. I am looking forward to the next installment of the series. This was such a fantastic read.
This author was kind enough to gift me a copy of her book for my honest review. I have to say, when I first started this book I had my doubts because I was in a book rut. I had started 10 different books and haven’t been able to finish them, until this one. I really enjoyed this book. It had a little bit of everything. A little bit of action, suspense, and hot sex. Whats a book without hot sex, right? Catherine is hell bent on finding her birth parents. Max Whitman enters her life and he tries to stay out of trouble. Once Max meets Catherine, their is an undeniable connection between them. He doesn’t want Catherine to know about his past. How will she react if she finds out? Max was in juvenile prison when he was 15 years old. He’s not proud of his past. Can Catherine bring light to his darkness?
I give this book a 5 star and look forward to reading future books from this author.
I enjoyed this book, I would have given another half a star if the option was available but it wasn't quite a four for me. I really liked the characters but would have liked to explore them more, it kept you guessing so loads of suspense but I then found it was rushed drawing to the conclusion, maybe that's just me.mi look forward to reading more by this author.
