I'm only reading up to my current posture, but I have enjoyed it so far. Her philosophical explanations tied into the physical practice are important, as it emphasizes the process of the Ashtanga method, which is the real gift of the practice. The techniques that she describes toward the start of the book are extremely helpful, I have been doing them to help face the challenging postures in the second series, in particular, and I believe they have really helped me, both physically and mentally. The second series is tremendously demanding and I appreciate that Kino constantly refers back to the deference and respect that this sequence deserves.
