This book manages to summarise the last 120 years of Kurdish politics in a comprehensive manner. It gives a great overview of the problems and hopes of today’s Kurdistan and how it ended up in this situation. Interesting parallels to other colonised countries are being drawn and the differences to them are demonstrated. Also the inter-Kurdish conflicts are explained.

Très instructif et clair mais aurait peut être mérité une frise chronologique pour que le lecteur (moi) puisse mieux situer les évènements entre eux dans les différentes parties du Kurdistan car l'Histoire est dense et on se perd facilement
