5 wholesome stories linked by a loving flutter of feathers. Each story looks at a different challenge a young person might face. I could see it being enjoyed by kids who have enjoyed books by Onjali Rauf, Palaccio and other authors who explore big issues in an ultimately wholesome way.

My only criticism is that I would have liked the starlings as a symbol to have felt a bit more consistently integrated. They're very central to the first story and are explored a lot in that but after that, the connection feels a bit forced? Would have been good if the knowledge of them was a bit more evenly spread throughout the book?
