Ivy has devoted most of her life to raising her nieces after their parents were tragically killed years ago. They and the bee farm they’ve run have always been her priority. Now that her nieces are older and assuming larger roles, Ivy can start to step back and do her own thing. She starts with a trip with her bestie for her birthday. While away she runs into her ex, and also meets a new and younger man, Jaxon who’s very into in her.

Why did I love this so much? Mainly I understood Ivy’s guilt over pursuing her own happinesses thinking she’s abandoning her nieces in the process. She’s unused to putting herself first. Jacob sees Ivy as the beautiful and smart woman she is. He’s not intimidated by their age gap. I love how he adores her, and he shows it through action. This man is fine!

I’m so happy that my first Nina Crespo novel was this one! Her writing spoke to me- the ups and downs of life, and the changes we go through. I appreciated this perspective from an older FMC. This story is about renaissance - it’s never too late for self-discovery, and to chase happiness. I was definitely charmed, and you will be, too!

Thank you @ninacrespowrites & @literarymediatours for my ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This is book 2 in the series. It can be read as a standalone. I have not read the earlier book and it did not impact my ability to read this story.

This is a sweet, low spice romance novel. There is a 40 year FMC and a younger man. The outcome is predictable in many ways but the unfolding of the story is interesting and both main characters are likable and had me hoping for their happy ending.

If you like romances especially ones without explicit scenes then this is a good one to pick up.

I received an eARC for my honest opinion.

Sweet on a Younger Man is a beautiful reminder that love isn’t easy. Whether it’s self-love or loving someone else, sometimes the second chance you never expected turns out to be exactly what you needed. Nina Crespo delivers a story filled with warmth, tenderness, and emotional honesty, celebrating the courage it takes to open your heart again. You will find the following tropes: Forced proximity, later in life, age gap, secret relationship. This is book 2 of Bishop Honeybee Farm series but can be read as a standalone.

Ivy is at a crossroads in her life, trying to figure out who she is beyond what’s familiar and safe. Then there’s Jaxon, who shows up with clarity, confidence, and a refreshing lack of concern for anything that doesn’t truly matter, including the age gap between them. What I loved most about Jaxon is that he never questions her worth, never doubts their connection, and never once makes her feel like their difference in age defines them. He sees her for who she is and who she’s becoming.

The heart of this story lies in how Ivy and Jaxon support each other as they step into new chapters of their lives. They encourage growth, independence, and self-discovery while still creating a safe place for love to grow. Watching them learn to trust themselves and each other was hallmark material.

The romance between Ivy and Jaxon is soft, sensual, and deeply emotional. It’s filled with quiet moments, heartfelt conversations, and a connection that feels genuine. This is the kind of love that reminds you, it’s never too late to start over, to choose happiness, or to say yes to something that scares you a little.

I want to thank Nina Crespo and literary media tours for the opportunity to review this book.

Thank you to Literary Media Tours for the gifted arc.

I thought this romance was a lovely balance between the love story and each of the main characters moving forward in their individual lives. Ivy has put her own dreams on hold when her sister and brother in law died, but now that her nieces are grown, she needs to figure out who she really is. Jaxon is running from disappointment in his own family, taking short term jobs that keep him in motion. However, meeting each other helps them each realize that they need work to make it to their best place. I really appreciated the scenes where they admitted that just wanting each other wasn't enough if they didn't heal their emotional hurts first. Jaxon is a dream boyfriend, always encouraging Ivy and willing to settle in the right place for her. Ivy refuses to let him do all the work and encourages him to make up with his family. Both grow in order to be together, just what I love to see in a romance book.

Another in the Bishop Honey Bee Farm series, in which the question becomes: what's wrong about a woman being older than the man she loves? Ivy is hesitant, thought her best bud is not, and Jaxon isn't dissuaded when he's attracted to the former bee keeper who finally is intent on going back to plying her artistic endeavors. Will she succeed with them or allow fear of failure to stop her? Even more important what about how she feels about Jaxon?

This was such a wonderful romance. Ivy has put her entire life on hold to raise her two nieces after losing her sister and brother-in-law in a tragic accident. She’s been holding the Bishop Honey Bee Farm—and her family—together, often at the expense of her own dreams. When she realizes her nieces need to learn to work together without her as the safety net, Ivy makes the brave (and terrifying) decision to step away and take an extended vacation.

Enter Jaxon. Younger, charming, and completely unexpected. One incredible night brings them together… and then they part ways. Of course, fate has other plans, and when they reunite, the pull between them is undeniable—despite the very real obstacles standing in their way.

I absolutely loved these characters. Ivy is self-sacrificing, courageous, loving, and deeply human. Her insecurities feel real, and it’s impossible not to root for her as she learns she deserves happiness too. Jaxon is an amazing book boyfriend—a reformed serial dater carrying the weight of his past. He’s kind, supportive, and so good at building Ivy up while still wrestling with his own demons.

Their relationship is beautifully developed—full of passion, friendship, and genuine connection. The big question becomes: will they choose the easy path… or fight for the love and future they want?

Troupes:
💛 Forced proximity
💛 Later-in-life romance
💛 Age gap
💛 Secret relationship

I loved this book, I love this family, and I am already counting down to the third installment! 🐝💛

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Huge thank you to Literary Media Tours for sending me Sweet on a Younger Man by Nina Crespo! 💛

This is book two in the Bishop Honey Bee Farm series, and listen….I loved book one so much that this was an automatic yes for me.

No hesitation.
No doubts.
Straight to the TBR pile and immediately devoured.

If you love romances that feel warm, grounded, and deeply human, this one is going to hit.

Why I loved it:
🐝Ivy’s journey of rediscovering herself felt so real
🐝The guilt of choosing yourself after years of putting everyone else first? Painfully relatable
🐝Jaxon is supportive, intentional, and never threatened by Ivy’s strength
🐝Later in life romance done with tenderness, respect, and heat
🐝The Bishop Honey Bee Farm setting still feels like home to me (country girl at heart)

This story is about second chances, self discovery, and choosing happiness even when it feels risky. It’s soft, sensual, and emotionally satisfying in the best way.

🐝 Tropes you’ll love:
✨ Age gap
✨ Secret relationship
✨ Forced proximity
✨ Found family vibes

You can read this as a standalone, but I highly recommend reading the series in order for the full experience.

Thank you again to Literary Media Tours for the book mail. I’m already buzzing for what’s next 💛

This is the perfect book to curl up on the couch with a cozy blanket and a hot cup of your favorite beverage. Nina Crespo writes in such a way that when I read this book, I could truly immerse myself into a world that describes alluring foods, let me envision fields of flowers, and I could almost hear the waves of various beaches. The backdrops she paints complement the depth of the characters and the emotions that she invoked perfectly.

The romance between Jaxon and Ivy was supposed to be a whirlwind that lasted one night, but they run into each other in Ivy's very small hometown. The age gap and family drama created a dynamic plot. I truly loved the theme of Ivy finding herself at 40. She wants to figure out this new chapter for herself and what she wants to do with her life after having raised her nieces in her 20s and 30s.

This author has a writing style that flows so well and she does such an amazing job of using words to demonstrate imagery. While she writes great romances with HEAs, each book has a great plot and other underlying themes that make me excited to read the next book she writes.

Things that grabbed me with this book:

•Took place after Brook and Gable got together
•Ivy is about to turn 40, making her very relatable in a lot of ways
•family drama (nieces concerned about her dating Jaxon (age gap!)
• Ex-fiance pops back up into Ivy’s life

I really do love how this picked up a few months after Brook and Gable became official. Brooke and Harper have also found balance in running the family bee farm and Ivy would do anything to make sure they came first. I feel like a lot happens in this one where you can't help but say “small world, isn't it?” I'll leave it at that because then I'll spoil the shock that made me stop reading and storm off somewhere for a bit 😆 Worth reading! For me hooked more than book 1. You don't have to read book 1 unless you want to know more about how Brooke and Gable got together and how Ivy forced the sisters to work together. It is mentioned a bit but I'd recommend it for the full backstory. Really looking forward to reading the next book!

This was a sweet yet sensual age gap romance, with the woman being older. It was great to curl up and breeze through this love story.

I enjoyed that Ivy and Jaxon had great chemistry together, even if their friends and family questioned the age gap. One thing that gave the book an authentic feel was that both Ivy and Jaxon had responsibilities in life, whether family or business. This made the decisions that Ivy and Jaxon were forced to make more emotional. Ivy is on a self-discovery journey and is unsure whether Jaxon fits into that plan or is just a nice distraction.

It was fun watching these two choose to follow their hearts and reveal their true desires; a sweet reminder that love knows no bounds.

This was a cute, quick, and easy romance read! I enjoyed A Honey for a Beekeeper and I knew I would enjoy book 2 in the Bishop Honey Bee Farm series! While this is a series, you can read them as standalones.

Ivy and Jaxon are so cute and perfect for each other. I love a good insta-attraction and you could feel that with these two. What started out as planned one night stand turned into a fate reuniting them. I love that Jaxon didn’t care that Ivy was older and that he was still into her regardless of her age. You don’t see a lot of “older” women in romances so that was a nice change. I really liked Ivy’s growth and her realizing she deserves love and happiness and Jaxon was the perfect person to give her that.

I loved being back on Bishop Honey Bee Farm and this time with the amazing Ivy as she falls for handsome and younger Jaxon, who also happens to only be in town for a few months.

I actually enjoyed this story a little bit more than I did Brooke's story (not that I didn't love hers, because I did!!!!) Ivy was such a strong character but also had the need to grow in this second stage of her life. I love that her journey wasn't filled with bitterness or resentment but rather, now it's time for her to begin.

It was sweet and loving as usual Nina Crespo delivered the best golden retriever MMC for our heroine to fall in love with!

Now I can't wait to see who we're going to meet next on the farm!

This was an absolute joy to read! I loved following Aunt Ivy’s journey after the first standalone in the series, A Honey for the Beekeeper, which I also adored. This book is a warm, beautiful exploration of love, growth, and rediscovering yourself with a sweet and compelling connection between Ivy and Jaxon. I especially appreciated seeing an older FMC who was ready to embrace her second phase of life. This story is brought to life through Nina's consistently beautiful, vivid writing which had me rooting for the couple the whole time.

Thank you to Literary Media Tours and Nina for the opportunity to read this fantastic story as an ARc!

Ivy and Jaxon have the sweetest romance with a dab of spice. Jaxon may be younger than Ivy but he knows how to care for her in every way she needed. They both balance each other out perfectly and I loved reading their journey. Ivy is so relatable and willing to put aside her happiness for her family. Their secret relationship was so fun and entertaining in this one but it’s not just about the romance - these two are navigating through life and chasing dreams. This series is quick and fun to read, I’m excited for book 3!

Thank you to Nina and Literary Media Tours for the ARC of this book! All opinions are my own.

Nina can do no wrong. I’m ready to run away to Bishop Honey Bee Farm. I also really loved reading a romance about a woman in her 40s. Especially one as free as Ivy. I loved hearing her back story and watching her and Jackson get together. I loved each of their stories and how they came together. I loved how empowering he was of Ivy. It was so sweet. This was a quick, easy read and I adored every second of it!

This is the 2nd book in the “Bishop Honey Bee Farm Series.” This is one of my favorite genres to read aged gaped younger male. This was not the book I was expecting. I was expecting Harper’s story; but I am so glad to have gotten Aunt Ivy’s book was an awesome treat. Jaxon and Ivy meet while Ivy and her best friend are on vacation. Jaxon is dealing with the betrayal from his father and Ivy is dealing with life choices now that she has finally gotten Brooke and her sister Harper talking to each other and working together just as their parents wanted them to. It was great getting the background on both Ivy and Jaxon. This is such a cute heart felt romance that both Ivy and Jaxon have to work out to get to the HEA that they both desire, deserve and want. The two-faced obstacles but the obstacles made them stronger. #TEAMIVYJAXON.

Thank you, Nina Crespo and Literary Media Tours for this awesome ARC. I am so looking forward to reading Harper’s book.

I have been enjoying this series. And with this one being an age gap, made it that much more enjoyable. This story with Aunt Ivy had my emotions all over the place. It really took me through. And although its part of a series, each book has felt as if it could be read on its own. Ivy really deserved this story as well as her HEA. I am so ready for the next book in this series.

A huge thank you to @ninacrespowrites and @literarymediatours for sending me the #gifted e-book!

I’m thrilled to dive into the next installment of the Bishop Honey Bee Farm series! It was such a joy to reconnect with the beloved characters from the first novel.

This story centers around Ivy, who feels a bit adrift now that the nieces she raised have grown up and taken the reins at Homey Bee Farm. On vacation, she meets the charming Jaxon, and their chemistry is electric. But after returning home, she can’t shake the memories of him. Just when she thinks she has to move on, Jaxon surprises her by showing up to help a friend with his wine bar. Their journey unfolds as they both come to realize they are destined to be together.

Ivy has always put her nieces and the bee farm above everything else. It’s truly heartwarming to see her finally prioritize her own feelings and dreams. Jaxon isn’t your typical flawless hero; he’s navigating his own family issues, which makes him all the more relatable. He really listens to Ivy and makes her feel truly valued. Their love story is touching, and I adore how Ivy decides to take care of herself for a change.

This novel is a beautiful exploration of second chances and self-discovery. If you enjoy sweet romance, you won’t want to miss this book, set to release on December 30, 2025!
