This series must be read in order. The first book is Zombie Basics (Zombie 101 Series). This is the second and last book in this series as far as I can tell.
Alessandro is in love and he has BIG plans. He is going to propose after the fall formal to his girlfriend Libby. His parents are really happy and excited for him... So why does he have this peculiar feeling of foreboding? Everything seems to be on track. They go to the dance and have fun. They sneak out of the dance and go to a fancy resteraunt... Then as he is gearing up to pop the question to Libby they hear gun fire... And that NEVER happens in his peaceful town! He investigates along with many of the other men from the resteraunt... He can't believe his eyes... Zombies?! He yells at everyone to run and hurries back to Libby. Will they make it out of the resteraunt? Will he find his family safe? How will they survive? Libby is a pacifist who HATES weapons after all... Will he be able to keep them both safe?
This was and awesome sequel and conclusion to this miniseries! I really enjoyed getting to see how the Zombie Apocalypse started for these teenagers and how they reacted. It was really interesting seeing young people's take on the advent of flesh eating zombies :) I am kinda sad it is over but MAYBE the author will change her mind and write more of these slices of the beginning of the Apocalypse later on... I vote we bug her mercilessly for MORE!!!

I love the zombie overload series, but this one wasn't as good. I just didn't understand why Sandro would think it's a good idea to go see the creepy, slimey uncle during the zombie apocalypse. An apocalypse makes bad guys worse!!

This is the second book in the Zombie 101 mini series. In this one we see what Sandro and Libby went through. This a great short read. Very insightful. I could not put it down and left me in anticipation of what comes next.
You need to read this book before you read book 6 in the Zombie Overload Series as they are connected.
I highly recommend reading!

Wow, I was completely shocked by how this read played out.CM has done it again adding wit and humor and one wicked twist into her famous zombie reads.
