📚 Book Review by R.M. Campbell 📚 Murder Most Quiet By Nellie H. Steele ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Murder Most Quiet is Book 3 in the Great Maine Mysteries series by Nellie H. Steele. In this story, we continue the adventure of the FMC Emily, along with her new friends Bill, Martha, and Duke, in their quest to discover what happened to her sister Becky and whether she accidentally died or was murdered. What was Becky searching for? A hidden treasure? An ancestry from the past? A connection to Maine or something else? In this story, clues lead Emily to yet another lighthouse, the Dice Head Lighthouse, with more hidden tunnels, booby traps, and another dead body, as well as an ominous and deadly threat. This book was an exciting extension of the Maine Mystery series. The story is cleverly written, fast-paced, and very suspenseful. The character’s interactions were amazingly well written, and the banter among the individuals was delightful. The story had a lot of suspense, tension, emotions, and some surprises that had me re-reading the part to make sure I got it right. The mood was dark and ominous at times, but I also found it touching, clever, witty, and fun. An action-packed mystery that was ingeniously composed and sure to keep the reader turning pages. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader's Copy of this book.
Another lighthouse to find the sextant. Finding dead bodies and facing guns pointing at them. What a mystery but they still didn’t find who killed Emily’s sister.
Book 3 in the "Great Maine Mysteries" series is full of more mystery, excitement, edge of your seat adventure, and a page-turner!!! Wow, I can't wait to find out what will happen next!! A must-read series!!
