GREAT book and illustrations. Would be great for ages 9-12. Over 25 projects you can do with your kids on science. I highly recommend it!

Non-fiction; rated for grades 4-8; can be used as a reference book for classroom projects and includes 25 different projects that can be used with students. Love the "boxes" on each page since it makes the reading more enjoyable. It includes a timeline that show through the years 1500+ how different fossil fuels have impacted the earth . In the rear is also a glossary, additional resources and an index. One thing that makes this book great for written projects, is the QR codes that can be downloaded on a smartphone or tablet, in addition to how to cite "primary sources."
