Most people don't fail because they lack ambition. They fail because they focus on the wrong the outcome. But the outcome isn't the goal.
The process is.
The outcome is what happens when you follow the right process. Until you understand that at a deep enough level, nothing will stick. Not your diet. Not your business. And not the habit you've restarted four times this year.
Focus on the Process will show
Why most people quit right before their breakthrough and how to push through the plateau phase when nothing seems to workThe difference between process goals and result goals, and why top performers lead with processHow to identify the right process and why it makes everything else easierWhy starting small is not a weakness, but a sound strategy. Why self-compassion often matters more than discipline or motivation.Focus on the Process gives you a framework for showing up until the results you want become the results you have.
The process is the goal.
Everything else is just what happens when you stick to it.
“Focus on the Process” is a motivating book that teaches the importance of valuing effort over results. It explains how success comes from discipline and consistent daily actions. The language is simple and relatable which makes the ideas easy to understand. It is a helpful read for anyone who wants to build better habits and stay motivated while working towards goals.
I am a big fan of Thibaut's books. I've already read many of them. Mastery and Productivity series, habits, introversion...I find them insighful, full of wisdom nuggets and create so many aha moments. But I didn t get this feeling with this one. I still learnt valuable things thanks to this book such as the excitement cycle. But at the end of the book I was like, so that's it ? Let' s say that in my opinion this book lacks substance compared to others Thibaut's masterpieces.
An excellent…no, awesome read with concise guidance that anyone can implement and learn from. Loved it!!! A must read if you need a proven process to propel yourself into a great life.
It makes sense that one has to do things consistently, small steps at a time and evolve as necessary. The author thinks it is a secret but it is a universal truth! This is an easy to read book but success means to be persistent. I recommend it!!
Easy read, motivational, informative, and helpful for anyone seeking to make progress. Emphasizes on consistency over intensity. Habit building tool if one applies the principles.
