Never Too Late to Play

Who says hotwife fantasies are just for the young?

After twenty-five years of marriage, Stephen Reeves has learned to keep his deepest desire locked away. What started as a pang of jealousy slowly transformed into something else—an obsession. He fantasizes about seeing his stunning wife, Julianna, with another man. But he’s never dared to tell her. She’s devoted, traditional… she’d be scandalized if she knew.

Julianna may be in her fifties, but she still turns heads. She notices the way men look at her, the lingering glances, the harmless flirtation. And she enjoys it—nothing more, nothing serious. She has no idea that her husband secretly longs for her to take it further.

Then, on a cross-country flight, a tall, dark, and handsome stranger takes the seat beside Julianna. And for the first time, Stephen does something he’s never done before. He plants the seed. He nudges open the door.

And once that door is open… there’s no turning back.

Never Too Late to Play is a book about a couple who realizes some fantasies aren’t just for the young. Because sometimes, the best adventures happen when you least expect them.

A new direction from Kenny Wright. The majority of the story is spent watching Julianna and Stephen work their way into a Stag/Vixen, wife sharing situation, with all the stutter and missteps along the way.

This is described as a hotwife story, and it may get there if there is a sequel, but no indication of that yet. There’s no cliffhanger and the story comes to a definite conclusion, but like other reviewers, it doesn’t seem as though the story for this couple is over.

If you’re looking for scene after scene, you won’t find it here, but you will find a lot of thinking, introspection and communication. This suits my preferences for this type of story.

One of the other reviewers thought Julianna was “falling in love” with the other man. I don’t think so, but there is a possibility. So far the drama is the husband opening up, missteps in choosing the right guy and gingerly stepping into the pool. If love does come later, it will add some sparks/angst to the story/relationship.

One interesting tie-in: one of the guys that responds to Julianna’s profile is AJ, presumably from Training to Love It fame. Julianna didn’t think much of him. 🤣

Definitely 5 Stars with an appreciative nod to this new direction for author Wright.

A Very Nice Variation

Yes it’s a story about an older couple and how she learns to become a hotwife or not.

The story builds up slowly, as she needs to get her feet firmly on the ground. They go through a variety of ways to find someone for her. Interestingly she ends up finding her lover the old fashioned way.

And he’s not really a bull, he’s a lover. They finally get together when she has a stopover in his city. That first time was hardly sexual, the time was short and the biggest experience was a kiss.

But as she keeps trying to find another, she fails. But she never forgets about him and finally arranges another stopover where she can consummate the relationship.

You see, I don’t think that she is truly a hotwife. No I think that she fell in love with another man.

This is not to say that she disregards her husband. No in the end she praises him up and down. But yet after she allows him to reclaim her, she is not able to have sex again at that time.

When he recovers so quickly because he is so excited, she uses her hands, not even a kiss on it for him.

It’s truly a love story and I hope that she can continue to understand that she now loves 2 men and it will be a job trying to maintain both of them.

Like many stories I’d love to read a follow up story and see how this 3 way relationship works out.

Women are Ageless and Timeless

KW, when he's good he's very good. And this novel is very good. Can you say, Annie good, well almost. They say always leave them wanting and this novel does. Is it a series? I don't know. I wish. The events and the character development are purposeful, authentic, realistic. The writing flows as life. The husband, Stephen is in his sixth decade. He's not the typical cuck cliche. He's not an effete runt with a limp 2-inch hair trigger prick. Yet he has an unusual sexual desire that evolves linearly, naturally from nascency. The pace of the kink isn't precipitous but develops gradually with Stephen's ebb and flow.

Juliana is of course beautiful, sexy, an insecure woman in her mid fifties. She isn't the usual fare of these stories and yet it rings true. As with most beautiful women, part of there self-worth is their appearance, their beauty. Juliana is suspicious, wary of Stephen's inclinations and motives and yet she is intrigued by his kink. She doesn't want to be a pawn but to be part of the game. In fact Juliana wants to be the chessmaster with Stephen being the audience and maybe an advisor. They join a lifestyle website: posting a narrative and lingerie pictures. Juliana is circumspect about potential partners except one. He is a previous first class passenger, Anthony. Juliana met Anthony while flying in first class to see their grown son in Phoenix. Juliana had been upgraded while Stephen flew in coach. Stephen's fetish was tweaked when he espied the two flirting with each other. He could imagine his professional attractive wife being engaged by men whenever she attended meetings, in airport lounges, on airplanes. He wondered if she was ever tempted or cheated. After some subterfuge by Stephen and libations, Juliana had kissed Anthony. She was furious with Stephen for setting her up without her consent.

After the failed attempt, Stephen regroups. He subtly and slowly introduces Juliana to his fetish. They text several prospective partners but few appeal to her. Even the selected bull, Juliana turns him into a steer.

Anthony is the real deal and during flight layovers, Juliana and Anthony bond. The sexual chemistry between the Juliana and Anthony is ionic, exothermic, explosive. They maybe falling in love, melding into one. And this is the risk, the uncertainty, the thrill the fear of this lifestyle. We're left to our imagination for this come-out roll of the dice, craps or seven/eleven. Who's the winner?

This is, as you would expect, extremely well written by one of the top authors in the Hotwife/Cuckolding genre, but be warned, this is an extremely slow burner.

I like that, in a departure from the norm, the focus of this fictional story is on an older couple, Julianna, 54, who first met her husband, Stephen, who is three years her senior, when they were in their early teens.

Having been separated on an airline trip to visit their adult son, Stephen watches his gorgeous wife happily chatting and flirting with the handsome guy next to her.

This leads to Stephen revealing a long-hidden fantasy and encourages his wife to pursue a Hotwife lifestyle, something she did not know of. He gradually persuades his wife to consider it at least in theory. You get to follow their progress from both perspectives, to find out whether they will or whether one or both decide they won't, it is not a foregone conclusion.

I didn’t find the characters in this story as strong as many of Kenny’s are usually.

Age related and so much fun

This is one of KW's best efforts, a realistic midlife couple in middle America starts communicating at a personal level. What is your #1 fantasy! And can you make it real. It'd an advantage to have a beautiful, open minded, Adventurous partner to support the task of her becoming a "hot wife". This could be the start of a series based on the main characters. Looking forward to Kenny's next novel.

Another winner from Kenny!

Kenny has used all of his highly polished writing skills to produce another really good story.
There is something for everyone: Interesting characters , a story that keeps building and often surprises, angst, and of course, erotic, well conceived sex. The idea of the story revolving around an older women is hot and timely. Good job Kenny!

Another excellent read.

Certainly an interesting topic of mature generation enjoying steamie erotic encounters!!!
Must add assuming that your real surname is Wright which means a man that's a hard worker, whether it's craftsman with tools, or in Kenny case pen and keyboard , you've certainly have been busy .
And thanks for another excellent story.

The Lay~over

The book builds up little by little and then explodes. The older woman theme was so good and the writing even hotter. I found myself wishing it was my wife instead of a fictional Julianna.

This is probably my favorite tale from this writer. (I have nearly two dozen of his books)
The editing is nearly flawless.
The story flows. The characters and dialogue are amazingly real.
Mr Wright gives us both characters viewpoints so we understand them completely. The honesty and love are genuine and believable.

It’s not the hottest of his offerings, but the characters story are rendered with a polish that is very rare for this venue.

The dialogue and plot are superb.

The couple and their relationship is believable. So much so that, at the end, you will wish for a sequel. I WANT TO HEAR MORE, LOTS MORE!

They’re just getting started!

Without spoiling it, Steven (57) and Julianna (54) have been married for thirty years. They grew up together. She was his best friends tomboy, baby sister who hung with them everywhere. They got separated when he went away to college. She was a skinny little freshman, anyway.

They meet next, six to ten years later when he got hurt at work. She had been a model and was training to be an occupational therapist.

Their relationship is amazing. The story begins with an airline screwup.

After 25 years of marriage, they book a flight together. The Airlines overbook and the only choice is to put them in separate seating. She got first class and Steven was across the aisle, a few rows back in coach. He gets to watch a tall dark stranger sit next to her and watch them flirt the entire flight. This is both common and rare. She gets hit on a lot, but she always shuts them down.

The fact that watching her get hit on, turns him on, is a secret they discuss with genuine realism. The finesse that Mr Wright employs is stunning. The dialogue, The characters, The story and how it flows, is completely believable.

She travels frequently and they plan to have her play on her trips and layovers. After she gets her feet wet, she feels that she’s shortchanging Steven. She remembers that he indicated that he wanted to ‘watch’.

This is the aspect that cries out for a sequel. He is not a cuckold and they have made him one out of convenience. She feels guilty about it. She recognizes that she wouldn’t be doing this is it weren’t for him. She's enjoying it a lot more than she would have guessed. She strongly wants her husband to be part of it.

Mr Wright is writing two sequels to this. One is out now, the third comes out in Early Dec. 25. when they both are available I will review them as well. I'm waiting patiently until then.

If you enjoyed this, I recommend 'The Craving' by Jason Lenov.
and
"Cuckold Therapy' by Jason Lenov and Arnica Butler. (the name does NOT fit the book)
Both are masterpieces and worth the price of purchasing.
