As a starter book for tennis, I don't think that it would be right for you. Lets start off with the cover. The cover is the most eye catching book in the tennis selection in my local bookstore. The cover shows the content that is expected to be in the book for the read. Now honestly this book was a little deceiving, the cover had the top players of tennis and I open the book and guess what? No sections had current tennis player entries. If I read just a little more into this book at the book store, I would have put it back on the shelf. Lets move on to the book. The book was a good book, but it spoke to the reader(me) in a way where they thought the readers would know how to play tennis. This book teaches you so many things that sometimes it can be overwhelming. But theses tips are still help full. I was looking forward to reading entries from the star players of tennis but the book didn't really have that, but it did have entries from people who have worked with top tennis players. Now this is a good book and I don't want to make it sound bad. Was it worth my time to read the whole entire book. Meh it could have been better.

I really liked this book...it is very informative and interesting...I have been reading this in a trip and when I went back to playing tennis I could see a huge difference at my style, I felt more confident and prepared! The tips were really good! Honestly this motivated me a lot in tennis! I love it so much.... still there are parts I decided to skip like doubles and parenting (I want my mum to read it haha) and well I think reading doubles could confuse me .... hehe so yeah I totally recommend it to you if you want to improve your game!

Interesting book. A collection of personal experiences from different tennis players on different aspects of the game. I think this would be a good book for anyone wanting to improve their tennis game. Other than that, its not much.
