Strong Enough is the 4th captivating book to the Deadman’s Tribe series by Nicole Craig. It can be read as a stand-alone, but I highly recommend you start with the first book because they are that good. You also meet up with old friends from the other books.
I can’t get enough of this series. There is something about Nicoles writing that pulls you in and keeps you on your toes. This is Cherry and Damon’s story, I was so excited to get between the pages. This series just gets better with each book.
These two have been fighting their attraction in the background of the other books but they definitely steam things up along this journey. Undercover, posing as a couple in a cult to bring down the bad guys their relationship boils over and burns up the pages.
With lots of emotions, action, drama, suspense, tension, twists, steam, spice, and danger the pages fly by.
You will not be disappointed.

I found this to be another enjoyable and engaging story in this exciting series. It’s a romance with plenty of drama and suspense which kept me reading way past my bedtime!Cherry and Demon must work together on their next assignment, which takes them to the Caribbean following new leads. They must pose as newlyweds but they soon discover that their feelings for one another are real. However, Cherry and Demon are both harbouring secrets which they don’t want revealed. They then stumble upon a secret which is older than recorded history and which could destroy them both. I was once again hooked from start to finish, as I have been by the previous books in this series. I personally recommend reading them in order as they are interconnected. The chemistry between Cherry and Demon really came across in the narrative. The setting was brought vividly to life through the descriptive narrative, making me feel fully immersed in the story. The fast paced storyline and plot twists kept me gripped throughout.

"Strong Enough" is the fourth book in the Deadman's Tribe series. While it can be read as a standalone, it builds on the previous books to further develop the backstory and sets up questions for future instalments.

This book focuses on Cherry and Demon (Aiden) as they go undercover, posing as a newly married couple to infiltrate a shadowy criminal enterprise linked to Cherry's past. They uncover much more than they anticipated, learning not only about past events and their connections but also about each other and the growing attraction between them.

Will Cherry and Demon be able to overcome the obstacles that have kept them apart while also dismantling the nefarious cabal?

This book will keep you reading long into the night with its mix of action, exciting romantic scenes, and the emotional depth that accompanies it.

This is the 4th book in the Deadmen's Tribe series. I can honestly say that each book has been a pleasure to read. This book has been a whirlwind of emotions for me. There have been some laugh out loud hilarious moments and some moments that had me crying my eyes out. This story has been definitely worth the wait. I love this story so much that I can't find the words. Demon and Cherry have fought their feelings for each other so hard, but fate had other ideas. Their journey to their HEA is going to be anything but easy. Nicole Craig has truly done an excellent job with their story. 10 out of 10 would recommend. Sorry, no spoilers

Wow I can’t believe what just happened! While this is a story of Demon and Cherry it also follows another line of interconnecting stories from each of the previous books. They both are wow factors to me. The relationship between Demon and Cherry is secret and longing filled. Ultimatums are dropped and hearts are unfulfilled but then the Tribe interferes with what is supposed to be a routine fact finding mission. These two are forced together while figuring out what happened in the past. It is thrilling, exciting and another great installment in this series. I look forward to more in this series!

Cherry thought she knew everything about the Tribe members she had suggested her boss hire. As their handler, she has worked closely with each of them as they conducted Tribe business. But the one she was most drawn to, she knew the least about. Now, on an undercover operation with him, she will have to face up to the demons of her past. Will they be strong enough together to make it through? I look forward to the books in this series, and this newest one didn’t disappoint!

I’ve read a few books by this author and each one has been a pleasure to read. I enjoyed the storyline in Strong Enough and the relationship between the characters was enjoyable. I like how each book has connections between them, but each book can be read as a stand alone as each focuses on a new couple, this one being Cherry and Demon. They are going undercover posing as newlyweds hoping to destroy a cult like organization, but soon realize that their feelings go a little deeper than they originally thought. This book was full of suspense, danger, and I didn’t want to put it down.

This was a really great read. The writing here is sharp and the combination of emotion, action, drama, suspense, tension, twists, spice, danger and heart is captivating. Cherry and Demon's story had me right on the edge, reading feverishly and up late to finish but I have zero regrets.

Demon and Cherry finally give into their attraction-with a few little nudges from their team and family. This book had so much going on. The twists, mysteries, reveals, and evil plan unearthed kept me engrossed in the story. There was a lot of emotion as well, as these two bared their secrets to each other and gave into a passion and love worth fighting for.

I absolutely love this series and though they each have their separate stories and could be read as standalones or out of order, they are all wonderful and should be read.
To find out the origination of The Tribe is fascinating and learn more of the characters backstories and pieces of how they got to where they are today. The details and confessions that are made within the group are jaw dropping.
As always, some of the verbiage and phrases used made me giggle and keep parts of the story a little lighter. Which is nice when there is so much tense information in the book.
Cherry and Demon have had quite the turmoil between them. They obviously care about one another but also keep many of their thoughts close to the vest and their walls high. When they go on their mission together, it’s not as difficult to play the parts as it could be for others. However they really need to keep the mission in mind, that is not their relationship.

SPOILERS AHEAD!!!

This book came up as recommended on my Amazon, so I figured why not?

Big mistake on my part. I'd like to preface this review with: I was born and raised on the West Coast of Ireland, our culture and language is very distinct and this book was quite frankly offensive in regards to them.

The main male character, Demon or Aidan Ciarán Parker is supposed to be from Galway Ireland, yet his last name "Parker" is English. Galway is home to the largest Gaeltacht areas in Ireland aka home to the largest number of Irish speakers who speak the language fluently and in every day life. So imagine my surprise when this character, who is supposedly from Galway, refers to the Irish language as "Gaelic", which is what the Scots speak, makes the most basic and obvious Irish grammar mistakes that we learn not to do as children, uses slang from the opposite side of the country, says phrases that are frankly never used in conversation and overall sounds like an American man pretending to be Irish.

To start off with, Demon is saying "feck" every few sentences. While it's true that Irish people say "feck" as a replacement for "fuck", it's the equivalent of saying "darn" instead of "damn". So when every other character is allowed say "fuck" and Demon is only saying "feck", it reads as unnatural. Phrases like "motherfecking", "fecking like rabbits", "an anonymous, unemotional feck" are not used in Ireland or by Irish people abroad. I can assure you, the Irish know how to swear. The whole time I was reading this book I kept hoping Demon would sound like an actual Irish man and not like a caricature of one. Those hopes died.

On the topic of swearing, it's stated a couple of times that Demon "swears in Gaelic". Ignoring the fact the language of Ireland is Irish, and Gaelic is spoken in Scotland, traditional swear words do not exist in the Irish language. In Irish, the closest we have to swearing is insults that will have a similar meaning, but it's not a swear.

However, the most glaring and obnoxious issue in my opinion, were the badly translated Irish phrases. And I say badly, because this is basic information you can find on Google and even with Google translate, who is notorious for getting Irish grammar wrong. That is how basic this grammar is, which makes the mistakes downright insulting. There is no way Demon/Aidan could be from Galway and make these mistakes. Hell, even Irish people who haven't spoken the language since primary school know not to make these mistakes.

The phrase "a chuisle mo chroí" is sometimes used in Irish poetry, it basically means "the beat of my heart". While it appears in poetry, no Irish people would actually use it in every day life. Demon consistently calls Cherry "a chuisle", which is the first part of the phrase. Except in Irish "a" means his. So he's literally calling her "His pulse". Not "my pulse", "his". The English equivalent would be like saying "How are you, his darling?". It doesn't make any sense whatsoever. Then we have the phrase "Taim i'ngra leat", which I'm assuming the author meant to mean as "I'm in love with you", except there's no fada on "Táim" or "i'ngrá", which I know the author knows exist, because it's in the name Ciarán.

Frankly I don't know what translator the author used for Irish, but it was atrocious.

Moving on, the overall plot of the book was predictable and weak. The second Zion is introduced it's not hard to put the pieces together. The cheesy villain monologue he gives Cherry near the end was honestly hard to read without cringing. Demon having an addiction was brushed over near the end, but frankly it never seemed to me like Cherry realised he has back pain, or just didn't think it was that bad. If you have ever pinched a nerve in your back, or slipped a disk, you know it can be debilitating. Over all? The addiction plotline wasn't handled well. (Side note: why is it always the Irish characters who have addictions and/or drinking problems? It's a harmful stereotype that shows a significant lack of care, but given how the other Irish elements were treated in this book, I'm not surprised.)

Cherry was marketed to be a "strong independent female main character", yet frankly she was acting like every other teenage girl when something goes wrong with her boyfriend, despite being 44 years of age. Also, I understand it was explained why Cherry uses Bible references as swears, but honestly it was just too much. There's only so many religious references you can read before it stops feeling like a book and starts feeling like a Bible study. As a character, Cherry didn't feel fleshed out at all, she felt more like a Mary Sue self insert. I don't know if that's what the author was going for, but that's the overall vibe I was getting the whole book.

While Cherry and Demon rarely actually sweared, side characters consistently did so, making the book feel like it was trying to compensate and leaving it unbalanced. Honestly, it was giving me major Whattpad circa 2014 vibes.

The whole trafficking plot that resulted in Cherry being held underground felt underwhelming and predictable, like I've read the same thing before but in a different font.

Honestly given the decent reviews I was expecting something completely different, and this book just feel short in so many ways. If any other Irish person is reading this review, for the love of God do not read this book, there are less cheesy plotlines in Fair City. Given I've already sworn, I don't think it's out of line; I've seen less bullshit on a cow farm than I did in this book.

In this 4th book to the Deadman’s Tribe series the focus is on Cherry and Demon. Cherry is the assistant to God, the leader of the Deadman’s Tribe. Demon is the team medic, having lost his medical license due to a major error.

The book opens with the disappearance of Cherry’s’ father 25 years earlier. When the book moves to the present Cherry is still seeking answers about her father’s whereabouts.

We learn more about the origins of The Deadman’s Tribe team. We also get glimpses into the present lives of the women featured in the first three books. Personally, I love being able to “catch up” with characters in a series from previous books.

Cherry and Demon travel to the Caribbean posing as newlyweds. That opens them to exploring their attraction while finding answers to current criminal activity. Both place demands on their relationship that the other cannot meet. This lays the groundwork for the sexual tension that runs throughout the book.

I highly recommend this book. I love books that ask new questions and provide answers to old questions in a series. This book has that characteristic. This also includes the bawdy language and super hot sexual encounters which run through all the Deadman’s Tribe books. It can be read as a stand alone, but I highly recommend you start with the first book in this series. You will not be disappointed.

Demon works for Tribe an organisation helping people so when he has to go undercover to try and investigate a cult which needs disbanding but he has to go undercover with Cherry as a newly married couple, what could go wrong?

Cherry is harbouring secrets but when she is trusted into going to the Caribbean with Demon, free trip and a little bit of work, easy. Oh but was she wrong. As they investigate they start to become closer and realise that there is chemistry between them and they are actually attracted to each other, but as they go on secrets and lies can either bring them together or push them apart.

This is the fourth boo in the series and although it can be read as a standalone book, this series is just brilliant to read anyway. I loved the characters and the fact that Demon is a full on Alpha but oh my is a gripping character with his own secrets which add to the twists and turns of the book. Cherry is my favourite with a steel in her and determination that she will succeed but to what end.

This book is full of action and secret and lies which builds to a great ending and the pace of the book is brilliant to drive the story and keep you involved in the story till the end. The characters and secondary characters are brilliant and well developed. This is not the first book and will not be the last book I read by this author.

I absolutely loved this intense and emotionally charged story featuring Demon and Cherry - two characters who have long battled their feelings for each other. Their journey toward a hard-won happily ever after is anything but smooth, and that’s exactly what makes it so compelling.

Cherry’s struggle to let go of control is portrayed with realism and vulnerability, while Demon’s fierce protectiveness and dominant nature bring a powerful dynamic to their relationship. He’s ready to give everything to keep her safe, and that unwavering devotion is deeply moving.

It’s difficult to write too much without risking spoilers, but if you enjoy romances with strong, complex characters, hidden pasts, and emotional tension that builds with every chapter, Strong Enough delivers. Add in twists you won’t see coming, a layered romantic arc, and a group of unforgettable side characters whose camaraderie and humour bring balance to the story, and you’ve got a book that’s hard to put down.

Nicole Craig continues to craft stories that are gritty, passionate, and full of heart. I can’t wait to see what she brings us next in the series.

Strong Enough is the fourth book in The Deadman’s Tribe series by Nicole Craig. As I seem to say with each new release, this series definitely gets better and better with each new instalment- Ms. Craig upping the ante as the series progresses.
I loved Cherry and Damon’s story, but I also loved how their story complimented the other three books, helping to build a ‘bigger picture’ and fill in some gaps. As always- with interconnected details and intriguing threads- The Deadman’s Tribe makes for some unputdownable reading.
This is a tense romantic suspense with complex characters, dramatic developments, danger, mystery, multi layers, action, adventure, intrigue, twisty plot, chemistry, sizzle, mystery, emotion, banter, secrets, and emotion. Cherry and Damon have had some simmering feelings and chemistry for some time now, so what happens when their investigations require them to pose as a ‘couple’? Well worth the read to find out.
I am more than a little addicted to the Deadman’s Tribe now, so I am really looking forward to Book #5’s release (in October ’25).
Happy Reading…

Thank you, Nicole Craig!

Strong Enough is the fourth installment in the Deadman’s Tribe series by Nicole Craig. Following the story of Cherry, whose life has been overshadowed by the loss of her father over 26 years ago. When her father vanished all those years ago, she dedicated her life to finding out what happened. Digging through secrets, danger, and stakes that rise by the day, she deems there is no stopping until she knows what happened. But the more she uncovers, will her life now hang in the balance? Or will she never get to know the real reason he had to leave her?
When Cherry’s path crosses with Demon in this installment, their emotional tug and pull snap the ropes on their restraint. The slow-burning and building for over 6 years, Cherry and Damon finally admit that they can’t deny their feelings any longer, building something strong and true on the deeply familiar emotions that tie them together. Following the story of Cherry and Demon over the last three books, couldn’t have prepared me for this book. If you are looking for another great book with the perfect mix of mystery and steam, then this is a series you need to pick up!

This is the 4th gripping book in The Dead man's Tribe series. This series just keeps getting better with every book. It can be read as a standalone however, I think once you read one you will want to read them all. This is a romantic suspense with action, adventure, danger, sizzling chemistry, and so much more. We have met Cherry and Demon in previous books however now they get their own story.

Cherry suffered a traumatic event, her father was kidnapped and in her quest to find him Cherry has uncovered and hides so many secrets.
Demon has his own secrets. Secrets which he keep from everyone.
Cherry and Demon have had chemistry for a while and it's been sizzling in the background, however when they have to go undercover as a honeymoon couple will the real emotions and feelings stay buried for the sake of the job or is this just the escape they need to finally give into their true feelings?
One things for sure they need to keep their head in the game as the people they are dealing with are dangerous people. When they uncover something, this secret could be the one that destroys them both.

Is this couple strong enough to withstand everything that will be thrown their way? Will this be the secret that destroys them? Or will this be the one thing they need to make them stronger?
The plot is so gripping and it twists and turns so much I had no idea what to expect next. I loved every second of this book.

Strong Enough is the fourth book in the Deadman's Tribe book series by Nicole Craig. It offers you suspense, romance, action, intriguing situations, and mystery. I love this book series because it continues on where we left off in the previous books in the series and continually builds upon the dynamics of the characters. The author has a way of creating such an amazing storyline that it draws the reader in to the point that you don't want to put the book down. In this epic continuation of this series, we get to read all about Cherry and Demon's fiery chemistry, as well as getting a deeper understanding of who Cherry is and what her role is in the Deadman's Tribe. If you are new to this series, it is best to start at the beginning due as character development is such a key element in this book series, and it would be hard to understand the dynamics between the characters without going back to the start of it all with Kubrick and Water's story. I cannot wait for the series to continue, as each member of the team meets their match as well as their mate. There are a few characters I've been rooting for to find someone to challenge them.

Demon's character just hit me differently. I could feel his pain through the words. You can read this book without reading the other books in this series, still follow along because things are recapped enough to give you the jest without rehashing all the details. If you read this book before the others in the series, then you miss some of the buildup, but I think you'll still enjoy it. I spent a lot of time thinking about how to review this book and not give any spoilers. I really want to dive into the characters and what resonated with me and why but that'd give away too much. Cherry is a Baddie, a boss and someone who has a lot of pressure on her to make the right decisions but if she lets Demon take control then the only thing she has to do is feel. Cherry has a hard time giving up control and is totally relatable in that aspect. You're getting ready to find out a whole lot about a couple characters who tend to keep things to themselves rather than burden or trust others. You're not going to want to miss this!

This is an author that I have enjoyed reading from the first book I picked up. I enjoy her ability to create heartfelt characters that pop off the pages. I found this book to be well written and hard to put down. A story about what happens when your sins catch up to you. Demon and Cherry are great characters that will keep you turning pages fast. Cherry has been determined to find her father who disappeared years ago and now secrets could change everything for her. Demon had everything until it was all gone and now all this is keeping him from his love. What will happen when lines between profession and personal are crossed? Will a secret destroy everything? I enjoyed their chemistry and attraction throughout which made their story easy to read. They are connectable, relatable and supportive throughout. I enjoyed watching the growth of the plot that kept the suspense going. This is a fast paced, engaging story and one you don’t want to miss. This is a great story that I highly recommend.

I have enjoyed this series so far, but at the beginning of this book Cherry was annoying me for being judgemental about Demon (Aiden).
She works with him, has done for years, so her ultimatum felt so judgy to me
Demon, well he's always been a favorite of mine in these books, and his background was one I could understand why he waa the way he was.
As the story unfolds, and Cherry finally owns up to the truth, I could see why she was using the excuse to stay away from Demon.
The story sheds more light on the Saleri, (the bad guys of the series) and I found this interesting and wished there could have been more of that in the story.
My favorite part in the book was the undercover assignment in St Lucia, not only because of the development between Cherry and Demon's relationship. But because we found out more of the underground network of human trafficking and the sinister beginnings of the Saleri.
I can't wait to read the next installment in the series, and hope more of the Saleri's world network is uncovered and thwarted by the Tribe and Mythos. And of course a new romance 😉.

Strong Enough (The Deadman's Tribe Book 4)

Oh my, this book was the best one yet. I might have said that after reading each and every book in this series, but this is definitely my favorite and I didn't expect for anyone to top Nemo's story in my eyes, Cherry and Damon did it.

Cherry's life hasn't been easy, her dad goes missing on the day of her high school graduation which left her alone, until she found the guys in the Tribe.

Damon was a successful Dr, but fast forward seven years he now a member of the tribe. Damon is the quiet broody type at least that is my assessment. Grumpy is probably the best description of him without using grown up words.

Cherry and Damon have worked together for a long time but nothing has ever happened between the two of them. But spending a lot of time together they end up falling.

Once this series is done I plan on going back to re-read all of them back to back to back so they can enjoy them and not rediscover forgotten parts. Can't wait for the next one to come out so I can catch up with the guys

Strong Enough (The Deadman's Tribe) by Nicole Craig. This the 4th book in the Deadman's Tribe and I have loved every book in this series. This is the story of Cherry whose Dad was kidnapped years ago and she may have dug too deep to find out where he is. She is in danger and still doesn't have any answers. Cherry has secrets and they are deep but we all know that secrets always come to like. Demon has hit rock bottom and has lost everything including the woman he loves but he is determined to get her back. Moving on a tip, Cherry and Demon leave for a Caribbean Island posed as a married couple. Pretending to be newlyweds is not hard and they are having to fight their feelings in the process. This tip is leading them in to serious danger but Cherry feels like they are finally onto some real information about her father. Will they be able to curb their attraction and stay safe or will they lose everything? Fast Paced thrilling romance!

I was so excited to pick this book up as the series has been one of my favorites! This one hooked me right from the start with its mix of mystery, romance, and long-buried secrets. Cherry's determination to uncover what happened to her father 26 years ago adds a gritty edge to the story because digging too deep could cost her everything. Demon’s haunted past brings emotional depth. The chemistry between them is undeniable even when their secrets threaten to pull them apart. I loved the dynamic of them posing as newlyweds because there was plenty of tension, awkward moments, and heat. The Caribbean setting adds a fun twist, but it’s not all sunshine and beaches as there's a dark, ancient secret lurking beneath the surface. The plot moves quickly with enough twists to keep you flipping pages late into the night at the edge of your seat. It's got that perfect mix of danger and heart. If you're into suspense, romance, and a whole lot of secrets, this book is so worth the read!

Oh wow this was so amazing. What a amazing book!!

When her father is abducted, Cherry starts TRIBE to track down what happened to him. Requiring to go undercover to see a family friend, Cherry and Demon partner up.

I loved this chemistry between Demon and Cherry. She was stubborn, thinks she knows better and carries secrets. But she is perfect for Demon, who secretly loves her, is protective, semi dominant and would burn the world down for her.

I also loved the team guys and especially their bets on everything. They make the story fun when things turn serious but how they are with their ladies make the swoon worthy ramp up.

Just a delicious story that had suspense, action and beautiful romance that develops all through the book. Nicole Craig has an easy read writing style that's a real pleasure to enjoy. Can't wait for more!!

This is the fourth book in The Deadman's Tribe series. This story focuses on Cherry and Demon, who embark on a mission to find Cherry's father. Her quest for answers has led her to dig too deep and keep too many secrets. Now, everything she has worked for is at risk. Demon, the team's medic, is still held back by secrets from his past, which are keeping him from the woman he loves. When they are assigned to a new case, their professional and personal lives collide. They must pose as a married couple on a honeymoon in the Caribbean to investigate a new lead. While there, they stumble upon a secret that could destroy them both. I've loved reading this series so much, and with its fast-paced plot, the emotional tension between Cherry and Demon, and the engaging twists and turns, this book had me hooked and I couldn't put it down.

Strong Enough (The Deadman’s Tribe Book 4) By Nicole Craig

Strong Enough is the fourth book in The Deadman’s Tribe Series. I’ve truly enjoyed reading this series and each book gets better and better. I think this one may be my favorite yet. This authors style of writing along with amazing characters make for a epic story. This is Demon and Cherry's story and what happens when your sins catch to you. These two are such great characters but what will happen when Lines are crossed? Will she find her dad or will secrets destroy everything? I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. It’s a fast paced story that once I started reading I couldn’t put it down. Im looking forward to reading more from this Author.

Cherry and Demon are sent on an assignment together to the Carribbean posing as newlyweds. New leads on a case have come up and they are following up. They have stumbled upon a big secret that could be both of their undoing if they aren't careful. Not all is as it seems as they both have secrets that are being kept close for fear of something bad happening. As they spend more time together they find it harder to fight their attraction. Will Cherry and Demon get a happily ever after? Or will their secrets tear them apart before they ever truly get started? I have read at least two other books in this series and they have been just as good. Although this is part of a series it may be read on its own. It will keep you turning the pages to see what awaits the characters.
