This was fun! I wasn't expecting much, but I love pin-ups and I love the idea of a badass pin-up girl in an apocalypse. So I thought I'd give it a try. It's pretty much exactly what you'd expect. A town called Pinupolis. Where the gender roles are crazy standard. All the women are beautiful housewives. All the men work and believe all women belong in the kitchen. It is very satirical and funny. When Foxy is trying on her dream dress on her 18th birthday, a giant explosion happens that turns people into zombies! Now I think I know the twist. No spoilers but it seems like the zombies have a pattern. Anyway, this book was fun. Funny idea. Gorgeous art. Good stuff! Excited for the next issue!
