We saw bits and pieces of this couple. And we pick up! Viktoria's family has taken her and is selling her to Artem so they can be on his good side. Little did they know the family does not treat their woman like this. He kills them shows Viktoria mercy and lets her go back to the dorms and try to live a normal life under his care. But well that doesn't work since now he's obsessed with her and slowly is understanding why his cousins are the way they are. Lol.
There is a lot of back and forth between the two lots of emotions about whether should she feel what she feels for Artem. Vik conflicts with his feelings. But when his girl is in danger he won't stop until she's safe. She does try to run away but that never works out lol.
We saw snips of the other cousins so I'm excited to see their books.

Action, suspense, a headstrong and infuriating woman and a bulldozing alpha male complete this story and give it Zoe’s signature flare.
I loved Artem but I love all of Zoe’s men. Viktoria was annoying but o well. Enjoyed this!

“Twisted Proposal” is the story of Viktoria and Artem.
Hero rescues heroine from an abusive household and eliminates her terrible relatives. He then takes it upon himself to control her life and be her guardian.
The book takes us through their battle of wills, where a reluctant heroine and a deeply obsessed hero solve their issues through sex and spankings. It was an engaging book but I really didn’t like the fact that the heroine didn’t get the upper hand or the education she wanted. I get that the hero wanted to protect her but it got exhausting real quick to see how he pulled all the strings. Also I know these books are interconnected but the abrupt ending of the MCs and the next couples story is in epilogue is not something I enjoy. It doesn’t give the MCs the proper ending imho.

If you're a zoe's fans, you know exactly what you're getting with this new book in Ivanov series.
If you're new to Zoe, buckle up for super dominant man, who never take no for answer, will make you scream yes over and over, "mine" is an absolute word from the first time he see you.
Artem and Victoria burn the sheet, like all Zoe's couples. But i so wish Zoe let Victoria face her own issue like a big girl. Like that wanna be predator teacher or her "friends" who think its okay to call anyone a whore.
I wish Victoria got more sense than pushing to be free without be seen more like a brat need to be dick down every single time. Because her arguement were valid.

This will leave you gasping for more! The continuation of your favorite Russian mafia family is everything you need and more. The way the family blends with the mafia world to the spiciness of all the things is so beautifully written. You can not ask for a better series to fall in love with! The attention to detail throughout the whole book will have you right in the thick of it and loving every minute.

Artem and Viktoria's story started out in a horror show: her father and brother were planning to sell her into the sex trade with Artem's family's connections. But when he meets Viktoria, he apparently just "knows" she's meant to be his.
Alright, buddy.
Tell me you watched Sofia the First as a kid without telling me you watched it.
It all goes downhill from there, though.
Zoe Blake's writing style may have severely improved- it's not as annoying to read- but the plot has spiraled worse than a groundhog saying bullshit for spring.
Artem was all over the place, dealing with his cousin Gregor, a really confusing villain named Sokovyov (or something like that), and ruining Viktoria's life.
The Gregor plotline, where he tried to form an alliance with his American cousins' branch of their mafia family, was completely abandoned 75% through and never tied up.
The villain is everywhere and nowhere, and never truly dealt with in a 416-page book. FOUR HUNDRED AND SIXTEEN.
Artem ruins Viktoria's life by pulling her out of her dorm without permission and putting her in an apartment he paid for, paying her tutition and then holding it over her head later to say he controls her (which is basically a Temu version of when Dimitri did the same thing for Emma in "Sweet Cruelty." At least Dimitri didn't use it to control her), and then, in a cherry on top move, withdrew her from school, and pulled her from her study group, saying she could apply to a new school, "when he felt like it."
What the actual motherfucking fuck of Dobby's green socks??
He ostracised her from her only friend- Amy- and then shrugged when she brought it up, and the book ended in him forcing her to marry her, despite her saying no.
She had valid reasons!
She wanted to get her education first, so that she wouldn't end up like her mother. A woman who chose a man first, and then became just a sum of his name. Meaningless.
Forgotten.
She brought this up to Artem, saying she would marry him after she got her degree. He hefted her over his shoulder and brought her to a church, then forced her to marry him.
The End.
He never addressed her concerns, never listened to her, and treated her like shit. I like dark romances, but this wasn't a dark romance; it was abuse.
Zoe Blake needs to draw back, because her once cute, kinky books have become nothing short of horrifying and disturbing.
I got no closure, no happy feelings that they're together, and ZERO desire to have an Artem of my own.
I would sooner down a whole bottle of date rapes than recommend this book. Please, kill me now.

Unfortunately this book for me completely missed the mark. I was so excited because I was expecting a forced mafia marriage book and the start of it was promising. The "She will be my wife." in the blurb didn't actually happen until 90% of the book. There wasn't even a scene of the main leads right after the forced marriage. It jumped straight to an epilogue from another character's POV where they fell in love with a character we've never seen before. Essentially, a blurb of the next book as opposed to an actual epilogue.
There were also way too many side characters in this book with no introductions. Even a "Gregor is my cousin and the mafia leader of xyz faction" would have helped. I had no idea who was who. And as if there weren't enough side characters appearing with no intros, there was a scene with all of the wives, again no introduction, that went nowhere. It was completely unnecessary. Even if the plot required a woman-to-woman scene, one wife would have been sufficient. Not 3.
I like reading body betrayal in dark romance but in this book it was completely frustrating. The female lead just caved so easily and pined after him so much there was no sexual tension in this book at all. I do like doormat female leads. But this female lead's fake resistance annoyed me more.
The male lead also didn't feel as smart or calculative than the male lead Zoe wrote in Vicious Games
I also felt like the plot wasn't developed enough. There supposedly were a lot of enemies from the female lead that were after her but we saw nothing.
There was a big fight scene where the main villain sent a whole bunch of men through tunnels to the mansion the main couple were staying at but it made no sense why the villain was even sending untrained young solidiers there. I thought it was a distraction where the villain was carrying a more evil plot elsewhere but it wasn't even that. If the villain wished the attack the male lead, he should have sent trained men. And why was the villain even targeting the male lead? If anyone, the villain should have been targeting Gregor.
The villain didn't even make an appearance in this book nor was the plot resolved. In other words, the mafia plot went nowhere.
In conclusion, neither the romance nor the plot really worked for me in this book.

I. Love. This. Series. I love this family. I love the men. I love the women. Every single book Zoe writes I fall in love with her writing again. She brings her books to life to vividly to me. Artem jumped out of the pages for me. That's how strong his presence was. I could feel his aura coming off the pages. This man doesn't take any crap. He doesn't take disobedience. He doesn't take attitude or sass. And what kind of woman catches his attention and doesn't let go of it? A very sassy one who loves to be disobedient. The nicer way to say it is defiant. Lol. Viktoria doesn't like to take any crap either. She was so incredibly sassy and with her upbringing and familial treatment of her I was thrilled to see it. Artem was too. Her father and younger brother never destroyed her fierceness. She really was perfect for Artem. He needed someone strong to stand beside him. He needed someone who could handle him. Zoe always makes me feel every feeling possible. I was starting to cry sad tears at one point and then I cracked up laughing. I love that she puts humor and banter in her books and everything isn't always heavy. But this isn't a rom-com. This is a deliciously dark and twisty romance with plenty of steam. That's dark and twisty too. Lol. I actually finished this over a day ago but I wanted to sit and think about what I wanted to put in my review. I hardly ever rush through her books either. I have to take my time and savor them. If you love dark romance I can't recommend Zoe's book world enough.

Difficult to rate
This is a very talented author. Her books are well written few errors in the descriptive writing draws you in. I am drawn to her books because I do like a dark Mafia arranged marriage. So I expect a little brutality but I feel the author always takes it too far. Would have been a four or five but I had to keep taking points away because of the brutality. I just copied and pasted a few exits from the book and you make your own decision.
Then that leather whooshed through the air and an instant later landed, the agony of it slapping across my thighs.The belt swung through the air again, this time leaving a matching stripe of fire across my body the other way. I'll grab another belt to whip your perfect ass and pretty little c#nt before I f#ck your ass again. I might even leave a few stripes across your breasts before I'm done. If you come before I give you permission”"you will get the belt."I pressed the head of my cock, still slick with her spit, to her puckered little hole and immediately she panicked, her entire body tensing like a bowstring. We pick up right where Fierce Pursuit left off. Artem meeting up with Zaitsev. He was trying to make a deal with Artem by using his daughter Viktoria. The Ivanov don’t use women or children and that just rubs Artem wrong. I do love the “game” of Russian Roulette” he played. Amazing what information you can get from people. Viktoria intrigues him and he planned to stay away but we all know the Ivanov men can’t resist.
I have to say that Artem, for all the gruff and growl he starts to understand why the other men are falling in line. The women aren’t a weakness but a strength for them. Viktoria is being bratty at times. I get her reason for pushing back. Artem was supposed to be striking a deal with her father but that didn’t happen. He was giving her everything. He protected her. Yes, it was smothering at times but when he tried to show kindness, she pulled out her claws. Granted Artem enjoyed her fire and Viktoria seemed to enjoy the fight. Only issue between them was he seemed to keep her out of the loop on things. No wonder she seemed to put herself in danger so often. The sex with these two, OMG! It was intense. Sit in front of a fan on high for this one. I look forward to when Pavel falls. He will learn like his brothers what it means to have a woman by his side. But is the one he found safe?

Keeping his territory and gaining power wherever possible.
It’s his nature not to be questioned or disobeyed. His word is law.

Having a meeting with Artem one night. He tries to sell her to him.
Well that was a very big mistake. While Artem is not an upstanding citizen.
He draws the line on women and children.
Viktoria is now his responsibility. He tries to set parameters dealing with her.
But he just can’t keep away. No matter how much he tries. She is his kryptonite.
All Viktoria wants is her freedom. Freedom to finish her studies. Freedom to live her life on her terms.
Yeah that isn’t going to go over well with Artem.

Artem tries to let her have some freedom, but she makes some mistakes. She’s also under Artem’s protection because her father’s enemies are looking for her. That doesn’t stop electricity from sparking between Artem and Viktoria. Will it merely spark, or will it burn them to ashes?
Twisted Proposal, book five in the Ivanov series, is fantastic. The fire between Artem and Viktoria is off the charts! The characters are amazing. I especially love Viktoria who is strong and fiery and gives as good as she gets. Artem is an alpha male, but he has some surprising qualities - you can picture him as a man who could have led a very different life. The world building is fantastic. The plot is excellent, so dive into this one immediately. You can read it as a standalone, but you’ll definitely want to read the whole series. I’ve said this before, but Zoe Blake is one of the best at writing humor, and there’are some hilarious scenes in this book. Artem’d brothers, Kostya and Patel are great when they’re giving him a hard time. I can’t wait for Pavel’s book which is up next.

Morally Gray and Flying ALL the red flags? Welcome Artem Ivanov. Zoe Blake delivers Every.Single.Time, those men we love and this is another to add to that list.
Artem is both a hero but also the monster in Viktoria's life, and one she doesn't want. This book continues the Ivanov family’s story. I love the way it ties in with Zoe’s Ruthless Obsession series. It’s so fun to see the original and much loved characters cross over in both series.
The interactions between Artem and Victoria are fiery and very volatile. The sexual tension is broken when they come together in a clash of hot and dirty escapades. I thought of the movie Mr and Mrs Smith. In a few places I laughed out loud. Zoe Blake throws a few zingers in every now and then and I love it!
A few times along the way I wanted to smack them both for their stubbornness. There is no cliffhanger, and of course there is a HEA. The epilogue gives us a taste of what is coming next. I absolutely cannot wait for the next book.

OMG! This book was amazing. So Artem first met Victoria in a meeting with her father and brother and as soon as he seen her he wanted her. Viktoria was going to be Artem's gift to sale to someone else. Artem released her and asked he what she wanted and she said freedom but Artem told her he could not grant her freedom but that he would allow her to go back to college under his protection and she told him no then Artem told her that he would arrange a marriage for her and then she said she would accept his offer of going back to college. Artem had posted guards to watch over her on campus and she got mad and decided to defy him by going to a nightclub with a friend. Artem was told she was at a nightclub and he went to get her. Artem then moved her off campus to an apartment and she was mad about it and decided to confront him about it and then Artem decided he was going to marry her even if she wasn't willing. This book does have a HEA and I can't wait for the next book in the series.

Artem Ivanov is Kostya's brother (who we first met in Fierce Pursuit) and one fierce Russian mobster. I was instantly invested in Artem's story especially once Viktoria was presented to Artem bound and injured as his prize from her criminal father. Viktoria's father has no idea that Artem will exact his revenge on him.
Artem at first frees Viktoria so she can return to college but chooses to keep her close to keep her safe but Viktoria demands total independence from her family and Artem. Every chance Viktoria has she would try to escape to have a life of her own but Artem is determined to dominate, possess and protect her.
I loved and devoured Artem and Viktoria's fiery journey filled with punishment, passion and dangerous twists and turns. Another amazing read by Zoe Blake! Looking forward to Pavel's story.

Artem Ivanov has long felt that his cousin Gregor has gotten soft since marrying. He has been pushing for changes in how the family is run for some time. When a rival offers his daughter to Artem as a way to forge a business partnership, Artem "sets her free." Viktoria just wants to be free of her family. She wants no part of her family. When her families business interrupts her life, she feels like a pawn. She knows her freedom comes at a price, but Artem has not called it in yet. Artem is attracted to Viktoria fighting spirt, but also knows that her father's enemies will come calling and they do. As their attraction and eventual relationship evolves, they must navigate the line of letting Viktoria be free and keeping her safe. When Viktoria becomes a target, he will move heaven and earth to protect her. Overall, this was a fast and enjoyable read. I cannot wait for Pavel's book.
