Well written guide to overcoming adversity & achieving your goals through Vision, Mindset & Grit. I particularly liked the authors quote from the poem Invictus by William Ernest Hensley
"I am the Master of my fate:
I am the Captain of my soul"
This book was a gift from a friend who attended a business conference where the author Scott Burrows appeared as a guest motivational speaker.

Scott Burrows story of hope, determination and perseverance is incredibly inspiring. I heard him give the keynote at a conference recently, there was hardly a dry eye in the room. This book can reignite your passion and drive.

Some really great nuggets of truth about being resilient in times of struggle and motivated toward reaching goals. But also a bit all over the place and hard to follow.

An autographed copy was given to me as a gift by my sister who heard the author speak at a conference. His personal story is both tragic and uplifting, and his recipe for success is simple yet powerful. It is an easy and quick read, but can serve as a valuable reference tool with many examples of how to apply his system.
